Consumer Complaint: There were 2 unauthorized charges that were taken from my TD Bank checking account ending in XXXX. On XX/XX/2018, there was a {$1000.00} debit from " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ''. On XX/XX/2018, there was a {$120.00} debit from " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ''. I reported this fraudulent / unauthorized debit promptly to the branch manager who said he would take care of this and get it credited. I filed a dispute online a few times through the bank 's website. I went to the branch when told I had to and filled out paperwork. I was told then that both charges would be credited back to my account. However, the money has not been refunded. I have been in touch with TD Bank about this for well over a year now. Their latest strategy has been to simply ignore my emails. There was fraud on the account, and those amounts should be credited to me. If their own employees do not properly file the fraud or inform me of the procedures to follow, that should not be held against me.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I set up automatic payments for {$500.00} via TD Bank 's web page which did not process on the due date XX/XX/XXXX as stated. www.onlineaccessplus.com/TDBank/Login.htm. On XX/XX/2019, I noticed the amount was still in my bank account and TD Bank applied {$27.00} late fee to my account. I spoke with a representative at TD Bank and they stated that since the amount was more than the minimum payment, it was unrecognized, so it is set to process in XX/XX/XXXX. She said they would reverse the late fee. I do not trust their payment system, hence I had to call in the payment to be sure it post for the current cycle. They have no problem accessing late fees in a expedited timely manner but they delay payments up to 3 days. This is not good business.

Consumer Complaint: I received a letter from Nordstrom Card Services- dated XXXX stating the following : That they were apologizing for overcharging me interest on their credit card. I have reached out them asking for the details. 1. What time frame did this cover? 2. What was my interest rate charged and what should it have been? etc. Customer rep told me today that they have no information pertaining to my questions. They did credit my account the overcharged interest and additional amount in light of the error. I just need to find out the details and whether we deserve more. This could be just hush money to move on. I need details, which they won't provide.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019 I submitted payment electronically to TD Bank USA N.A who is the finance company for the Target Card. On XX/XX/2019 the payment posted to my checking account and the funds were electronically withdrawn by TD Bank. On XX/XX/2019 I reached out to the bank to ask why if the funds had come out of my account have they not applied the payment. I was told to either wait or I could in a conference type call with them, we could call my bank and with them on the phone listening to my conversation have the bank state funds were debited and they would credit my account. Its now the 9 so 10 days since payment was paid and TD Bank still is refusing to credit my account unless I contact my bank ... I really feel like this has to be borderline illegal ... Please help

Consumer Complaint: I have called to let the bank know that there was a transaction that was cancelled on XX/XX/XXXX, but my credit card company still removed the funds on XX/XX/XXXX. I called my bank and told them this wasn't authorized. After it was reversed it seemed that the money was taken out and I put a dispute in. My account is overdrawn because of the automated XXXX dollar transfer to my savings account. Now my account is overdrawn and I have pending transaction that is gonna add up to XXXX DOLLARS NOW! THIS IS RIDICULOUS THAT THE SAVINGS TRANSFER CAUSED ME TO HAVE AN OVERDRAFT AND NOW IM GONNA GET A FEE FOR THE XXXX TRANSFER ON TOP OF THE TRANSACTIONS THAT WERE VALID! IM SO XXXX TIRED OF TD'S XXXX SYSTEM!

Consumer Complaint: I became a victim of identity theft and filed a police report in the beginning of XXXX. I have been to TD Bank to sign my signature for paper work for the fraud department. I have been dealing with this for 6 weeks and TD Bank has been holding my funds, not letting me know what is going on with my money. None of my money is in the accounts. After filing for for fraud, the staff at TD Bank told me that I had 30 days to open a new account for my money. I did just a few days later when my accounts were frozen, the new ones were frozen the very next day from when I opened them. I am getting different stories from TD Bank staff. That I have shouldn't of opened one, and then another bank manager tells me that I needed too. No one knows what is going on with my complaint, I have no money to run my business and I can not pay my staff. I am on 6 weeks and my staff is about to leave and I am about to lose my business.

Consumer Complaint: My wife and I opened an account through TD Bank, NA XXXX Renovate in late XXXX. I began making payments and in XXXX of XXXX made XXXX payments ; which made it so I was paying on the balance a full month before the payment was due. On XX/XX/XXXX a payment was due and I had already paid it on XX/XX/XXXX. I went online to make a payment again on XX/XX/XXXX ( for the upcoming XX/XX/XXXX bill that would be due XXXX and discovered TD Bank applied a {$25.00} late fee to my account. When I contacted the bank, I was told by a representative that as far as the company was concerned, I had just made an extra payment during one billing cycle and they didn't recognize it as paying ahead or paying prior to the upcoming due date. The representative told me if I didn't pay it exactly how they told me to, one payment per each defined billing cycle, then TD Bank would continue to assess late fees against me. The representative agreed to reverse the late fee " as a one time courtesy '' ( their words ) even though, as I pointed out to them, I had not made a late payment and was actually a month ahead on my payments. I believe this company is engaging in predatory practices. They are punishing me for attempting to pay off my balance ahead of time and for trying to keep ahead of due dates by paying early. Also, as part of the agreement, it is a requirement I pay the balance by a certain date and with no late payments in order to avoid accumulated deferred interest. I believe TD Bank, NA is trying to use this practice to say I made a late payment so they can then assess all of the deferred interest charges against me and raise my rate from 0 % to the extremely high interest rate the card normally carries. I have had countless other loans in the past thirty years and have used this same method to pay them off early and to avoid missing or being late on payments ; no other company has EVER told me I couldn't make early or extra payments and they certainly have not tried to assess fees on me for doing so.
