Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Problem accessing account
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, I opened a Checking account online with TD Bank and setup my username/password and full credentials to access the account. To fund my account, I linked my XXXX Checking account to the TD Bank Account on XX/XX/2020 and successfully sent an ACH Transfer to my TD Bank Account in the amount of {$2500.00}. On XX/XX/2020, I was no longer able to access my account online and have been instructed to visit a branch location to resolve my issue. I attempted to reverse the ACH from my XXXX Checking Account to TD Bank for the amount of {$2300.00} on XX/XX/XXXX and the transfer was successful. Since then, TD Bank issued a debit to my account to my account and has withdrawn the money without my consent. I am currently in XXXX XXXX, CA and not able to visit any branch location to resolve this issue due to strict travel restrictions in California. I will not be able to return to Maryland until XX/XX/2020. I would like all my funds ( {$2500.00} ) returned to my XXXX checking and to close this checking account ASAP.

Issue: Getting a credit card
Subissue: Card opened as result of identity theft or fraud
Consumer Complaint: I have opened a Identity thief case XXXX after found my credit score dropped down from excellent to poor. The problem was someone open Target store credit card in XX/XX/XXXX and paid couple payments a never paid balance after. In XX/XX/XXXX balance was {$470.00}. I have never open a card in Target. I am very rare using this store for purchases mostly for the business. I am in general long ago stop practicing crediting. I have opened two credit cards only for travel purposes and my payment history is more than excellent. Average I pay within month or two regardless amounts. And travel balance amounths always much more than {$470.00} and paid very quick. Why then I would open this small balance and not pay? So I filed complaint to Target and all Credit bureaus with this number and without results. My credit score is low and I am asking to investigate and help to restore my good name

Issue: Managing an account
Subissue: Problem using a debit or ATM card
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I had deposited {$2000.00} into my savings account through the ATM. The ATM told me it couldnt process my deposit and had me put the amount I had added into the ATM. And the ATM ate my money and never gave it back. This is all with TD Bank. Later out i found out that my credit card was connected to my savings account which caused a force deposit to happen. After this had happen i got a receipt for records and called customer service right away. They had put a dispute in right away for me. I called today XX/XX/2020, and they told me to dispute was closed and i had never gotten my money back or into my savings account. They told me the best bet is to call the branch that i had used. So i had called them and they didnt have any record of a dispute and basically told me they cant do anything and to call customer service and make another dispute. It has been three weeks since i had done this and no money into my account. I need help with this.

Issue: Managing the loan or lease
Subissue: Billing problem
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I attempted to change the bank account on file with my auto loan at TD Auto Finance. The auto payment of {$590.00} was scheduled to come out the two days later on XX/XX/XXXX. In an attempt to avoid the payment debiting the previous account I made a one-time payment for {$600.00}. Unfortunately, I later learned that any changes that are made within 5 days of the scheduled auto-pay date can not be changed and will not be applied to the current payment date. In the end, both payments came out. The scheduled payment with the previous bank for {$590.00} was drafted and my {$600.00} payment was drafted from my new account. The problem began when I called TD Auto on XX/XX/XXXX to explain the {$600.00} payment was intended to make the XXXX payment. They explained it had been applied as a principal payment in addition to the scheduled payment. I explained the mistake and requested a refund for the additional {$600.00} payment I made. This is where the representative on the phone explained that it takes 19-30 days to issue a refund. I believe this is an excessive amount of time and they are taking advantage of consumers by having this excessive amount of processing time to benefit them. I believe they are using this excessive amount of time to their advantage to manipulate their customers into allowing TD Auto to keep their customer 's money so TD Auto can have the security of their customer 's next payment. We've all received refunds from companies before, including banks and the longest it should ever take it 5 business days. I ask that you look into this excessive amount of time because I believe it is wrong and there should be limits on the amount of time it takes a company, especially a bank to issue a refund to its customers. Thank you for looking into this matter and everything you do to protect consumers.
