Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX i deposited XXXX from my chase account to my TDbank account by depositing a check in drive thru, to my shock the next day my account was frozen. Tried to reach TD by phone several times last week, after holding for almost an hour each time phone was disconnected. On XX/XX/XXXX finally reached customer service after 2 hours of holding the phone, abruptly transferred to fraud unit who verified all the info and promised to lift the freeze from my account within 24-48 hrs. which has still not happened, i have spent almost 4 hours on the phone today wed. XX/XX/XXXX and no one can help. Meantime i am unable to access my account and missing many transections -deposit and withdrwals for which i want TD bank to be responsible for compensating me for my losses. XXXX

Consumer Complaint: UNFAIR & BIASED. almost a 4 yr relationship, have my direct deposit setup, all is good. applied for their personal line of credit with XXXX XXXX, no late payments/collections/anything bad on any of my credit files. Declined after 5 days because of XXXX $ account fees charged to my 3yr past closed checking account ( apparently it took them 3 months to close it after i put in the request & they charged XXXX $ /month for the next 3 months for not maintaining minimum balance ), never received any form of communication regarding that, never even mentioned it when i went in to open another checking account few months later, i have a relationship going on with direct deposit setup, even received some pre approved offers. so, i disputed it, took them 7 days to remove it, i called in and asked for review since the initial reason for denial was no longer valid, after 5 days i received a call saying they can approve it but - 1. i have to provide 47 paystubs from 3 different employers, ( like for a mortgage ) 2. pay off my XXXX ( 8 APR ) XXXX loan. its like they found no reason to deny thus making it impossible to comply. under fair conditions no lender would ask to pay off a XXXX - 8.0 APR loan & 47 paystubs to approve XXXX - 11.5 % APR loan.

Consumer Complaint: This bank IS offering " financial relief '' as published and listed on their own website, help in forms of " DEFERMENTS '' for customer loans that are including HELOC 's and this info IS as per the TD bank website and I read this in many other forums on the internet to support this. It is published information that TD bank itself IS offering COVID-19 help for those loan products and DEFERMENT is only LISTED on tdbank.com, COVID-19 updates, that info says updated as of XX/XX/2020. It does not even state forbearances listed but I do not want any forbearance when I've been asking for a 3 month deferment! HOW DOES A BANK NOT HONOR THEIR OWN COVID-19 ASSISTANCE OFFERING TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS DURING THIS CRISIS WITH DEFERMENTS on HELOC 's?? I AM MIND BOGGLED HOW THEY ARE ADVERTISING THIS but WHEN YOU CALL THEM TO ARRANGE IT, THEN ITS A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY THAT DEFERMENTS ARE NOT OFFERED? ISN'T THAT ILLEGAL AND DECEPTIVE?

Consumer Complaint: ( Related to FTC XXXX on XXXX for which Target Card suddenly stopped working at store and transactions were not visible on the website. On XXXX, XXXX XXXX was filed as Target Card refused to reach out to XXXX despite having started the claim. XXXX on XXXX for Target/TD-Bank preventing automated activation ). On XXXX, XXXX at XXXX XXXX was used to try and activate the additional cards on the accounts. These activations failed on both website and via phone call. COMPLAINTANT prefers to get these activated without contacting customer service as COMPLAINTANT entered the numbers exactly the way they were printed on the card. COMPLAINTANT wonders if Target/TD-bank has call/email/case records of other users having the same problem. On XXXX, COMPLAINTANT called XXXX at XXXX XXXX to activate the card. Automated means through website and automated call have failed during the call, however, the representative was able to activate the card. At XXXX XXXX, COMPLAINTANT called again to retrieve the PIN as previous representative omitted the PIN setup procedure. Had COMPLAINTANT been able to activate the card all on his own through automated means, he would not have had to call again nor attempt to reset via the Target website. COMPLAINTANT is perplexed as to why both representatives who ( 1 ) activated the card and ( 2 ) denied having access to PIN, refused/forgot to mention any PIN reset functionality of the website during the call. COMPLAINTANT wonders why Target employees/system have to create these situation artificially in such a way, so that they can deny ( a ) having access to COMPLAINTANT 's PIN nor ( b ) trying to harass him in anyway.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX We leased from Chrysler Financial ( which was bought by TD Autofinance ) and paid off the lease to buy the XXXX back in XXXX but it was never changed to our name ( it's still listed under Chrysler Fin'l Co LLC ) , and we never received the title. We were looking to sell the vehicle in XXXX and realized this was missing. I've been calling TDA weekly since early XXXX to get the title, a duplicate title, or maybe some kind of lean release letter I could then take to the DMV to get a clear title. I just need something to allow me to get a title so I can sell it. I have the VIN and their account number. I've even mailed them money for this release letter but still have seen nothing. I've spoken to many people who all assure me something is being done and then nothing happens. ( And, yes, I initially tried My Title Support but they refunded my money saying they couldn't do it. ) And, lately, due to Covid-19, when I call, it literally hangs up on me saying they're too busy. FYI : they also have my husband 's name incorrectly listed as XXXX XXXX. ( It is actually XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX. )

Consumer Complaint: To Whom It May Concern : Approximately back in XX/XX/XXXX, TD Bank N.A. sent me a letter informing me that since I had not been using my TD Bank credit Visa card they were going to close my account. I called to inquire if the high interest rate on my card could be lowered, to which they stated nope. Nonetheless, their letter encourages its clients, XXXX XXXX Clients, which I am, to keep our cards open for its " perks! '' I went ahead and used my card to make a {$39.00} purchase in XX/XX/XXXX. I made a {$25.00} payment in XXXX, but I forgot to pay off the remaining balance of approximately {$14.00}, which resulted in a late charge. TD Bank agreed to reverse the late charge, and I promptly paid the remaining balance of XXXX ( XXXX + XXXX finance charge ). I also received another letter, dated XX/XX/XXXX, from TD Bank indicating they were reducing my {$5000.00} credit limit to {$600.00}. Their reasoning they claimed was based on too many late a poor payment history. They stated they obtained this information from XXXX. They also repeatedly stated via the phone that the reporting credit company, XXXX, is the company responsible for reducing my credit limit of {$6000.00} down to {$600.00} with TD Bank, N.A.. This makes no sense, since XXXX is only a credit reporting agency Furthermore, I have maintained an excellent payment history for the past XXXX years, and I maintain a very low-to No balance on my credit cards. This is my norm, Great paying history has been repeatedly reported on all of the three major credit bureaus ( XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX ). XXXX Bank maintained and claimed that XXXX is responsible for reducing my credit limit. They denied the fact that my not using my credit card for some time as the reason for their huge reduction in my credit limit with them, which in essence, impacts my credit profile. *Please note : This is a major disservice to consumers treated this way. It is unethical and somewhat criminal when a company misrepresents the truth as to why they would reduce a customers credit limit by such a large margin, and then claim and/or lie that they had nothing to do with that decision. Once again, TD Bank N.A. claims XXXX is responsible for that action. On behalf of myself and the consumers who get treated this was, please investigate TD Bank N.A. regarding these shocking actions. This is wrong, and not fair! Once again, according the big 3 credit reporting agencies, I have maintained an excellent credit history over the past 7+ years, showing on time payments all the time, and low to no credit card balances. TD Bank should, at the least, issue a letter of apology for this egregious and harmful action which I am a client with XXXX XXXX, the name they have on my credit card. What a harmful, irritating, and customer dis-service TD Bank rendered with this type of treatment.These adverse actions negatively impact us consumers. I thank you in advance for your attention to this matter. I know we are all impacted by the COVID-19 situation, as we are working getting back to normalcy.
