Consumer Complaint: I have a credit card with TD Bank, and periodically they send me balance transfer checks. I called TD Bank today to opt out of receiving these ( for the XXXX time ), and they said that they had " turned off '' the sending of these checks for my account in XXXXXXXX XXXX ( after I had called about this issue back then ), and that there was nothing more they could do. I have continued to receive these checks every few months since XXXXXXXX XXXX, most recently as about a week ago. They did not provide me a reason why I am forced to continue receiving these checks. Were they to get into the wrong hands, I could be at financial risk.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/2021, I received a TDBank Equity Loan approval letter indicating 5.890 % interest rate. On XXXX/XXXX/2021, I received paperwork indicating 7.99 % interest rate. I spoke to XXXX XXXX, loan coordinator and he stated that he was sorry for not mentioning the information and it is because of the appraisal being lower than projected. I asked where that possible interest rate change was mentioned in any of the paperwork. He stated there is no documentation mentioning this possible change in interest rate. I spoke with TD supervisor, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I explained my concern that the interest rate went up drastically 2.1 % without notice. She stated it was the appraisal and that the 5.890 % should not have been quoted in the paperwork and nothing can be changed. This is a clear case of bait and switch. I needed to do through the closing because I have to pay bills.

Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: I applied for a Target credit card that was opened on XX/XX/2021. I added XXXX authorized users on to the account on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/2021. They placed my account in a restricted status requiring me to submit documentation to verify my identity, which I did. I faxed them the requested documents in the beginning of XXXX. They claimed the faxes came through blurry and continued to demand faxes. I offered to email the documents, and they said for my protection, they don't accept emails. I told them I could send an encrypted email, they declined. I told them to cancel my account, and they refused. This is an FTC violation of a barrier to cancellation. I told them if they think I'm breaking some laws to contact the FBI. This is a {$500.00} credit card. This is insanity. I have a XXXX minute conversation recorded legally, as I'm currently in the state of XXXX, and also I notified the representative that I was recording the call anyway. She stated that it's their policy that they can't cancel until I do something extra. This is resulting in the following : Their customer base appears to be larger than organic due to barrier to cancellation. My credit report is being impacted, and will continue to be impacted permenantly due to this barrier to cancellation. The representative refused to transfer me to their manager claiming to be the end of the line, and so I'm coming for your help.

Issue: Problem when making payments
Subissue: Problem during payment process
Consumer Complaint: A payment was made to Nordstrom Credit card on XX/XX/XXXX for {$500.00} dollars for XX/XX/XXXX payment. The payment was processed for XXXX instead. Which showed a double payment in XXXX. Upon calling Nordstrom I was told by a rep the money would be refunded to my bank account so I could make the payment again and have it processed on a different date. The {$500.00} payment was not reversed or refunded! When I reached out to Nordstrom after waiting for more than week they then shifted the information! The credit agency has more than enough options to fix this and they are not! My account is paid on time every month properly. They would not change due date or accommodate the issue they stated would be corrected! And I was advised by Nordstrom to contact bank and lie, like this is crazy. Easy fix being made more difficult
