Consumer Complaint: My complaint is against Target Red Card owned by TD Bank. My issue is how long is is taking to reissue my credit after making payment. I have never been late nor even had to pay interest. On one of the payments they even took it from wrong bank account after which I had corrected new bank account online with them and received a notice that new bank acct was entered. Every time I make my payment it is taking almost a month to receive credit limit back. I literally have to call and speak to a bunch of supervisors before anything is done and even then it still takes 5 more days. This is ridiculous and illegal. It states in their policy that credit will be issued two days after a payment and if late etc can take 5 days at the max not a month. I have taken screen shots of all payments when they are posted and also shows the credit still not issued back. Also have screenshots of bank acct as to when they received the payment. Please contact them and make sure they are following all rules I should not have to call every month to receive credit limit back after payment has long been made and cleared bank acct.

Consumer Complaint: I had XXXX credit cards with this bank. Both accounts have been charged off. Upon checking my credit report, I've noticed that my consumer rights have been violated. I contacted the bank directly in writing asking that 1 ) the balance be corrected to {$0.00} to comply with the FCRA to which no response was provided. The account debt was charged off in XX/XX/XXXX, as such not further reporting should be initiated per the FCRA and IRS 1099c guidelines. I also contacted the bank and requested the 1099c form to comply with the IRS requirements as the company will receive a tax write off for the bad debt and per the 1099c guidelines event code 7, the debt is deemed uncollectable as of the charge off date of XX/XX/XXXX. The bank is actively and intentionally violating my consumer rights by continuing to report the account as Charged Off each month for the last 12 months after the charge off date of XX/XX/XXXX, which is inaccurate, thus reaging the account impacting my overall credit file and score. I have disputed this account with the major credit reporting agencies only to have the debt returned as verified, which based on consumer credit law is inaccurate. Additionally, the account is being reported as having a past due balance which is legally impossible per the FCRA. A charged off account can not have a balance due or past due balance.

Consumer Complaint: After my Debit Card had been compromised and not realizing that it was linked to my XXXX XXXX XXXX which was for protection for my XXXX Phone sometime on or around XX/XX/2023 already a month past XXXX XXXX Sent me via email to update my payment information. Once I received my new card and remembering now that some 6 months ago I had the cell phone protection. I began trying over and over again to give XXXX the updated New Debit Card information ( No money was borrowed ) it never worked and I kept trying so after several attempts it worked. Thus, thinking all is good I began to receive Mailings from TD Bank not having any idea what this was for I finally called them and was told they got the money from XXXX for the protection of my phone. Then after several attempts tying to contact XXXX and I mean a lot, almost always, getting disconnected or the wrong department I started with TD BAnk and went thru several attempts to rectify the problem. So finally I got the Manager at TD bank who gave me her Initials of ( XXXX ) and explained the entire thing she told me that if XXXX did this then TD Bank has no right to report me negatively to the Credit Bureau. Then she asked if I would stay on while she contacted XXXX. I said fine, but warned her we would get disconnected when she tried and we got disconnected and XXXX never called me back and I was never able to get her again. All of this for {$3.00} a month now I have negative items on my credit report and have no way to resolve it and TD bank keeps increasing the time and penalties after me thinking it was all good when I updated my Debit Card information with XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: Target credit card is not crediting my account when I make a payment. Recently, on XX/XX/XXXX, I made a {$3000.00} payment. Target has yet to credit my account for this payment. I believe they are committing a huge fraud. If they do not credit my account, they then have the advantage of charging me more interest than I am suppose to really pay. I have never experienced this fraud in the last XXXX plus years of paying credit cards. Please, I need to put a stop to this. CFPB is the only Bureau which has the resources to stop this abuse. This is fraud at its finest. I know there are many people who are going through this same abuse and do not have where to look for help. Please help put a stop to the fraud Target card is committing.
