Contact center states account closed within 3 business days, after request is sent to the back office for processing but the branch can close account sooner. 2. Branch states account can not be closed sooner due to varies/conflicting information ( i.e. pending account activity ) Branch Manager XXXX XXXX ( TD Bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, MA ) was abrupt and defensive when questioned about inconsistencies in procedures for closing the account. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I received a statement from TD Bank Mortgage that showed I did not pay my mortgage and with some late fees. I reconciled the payments with my actual bank, and saw that the checks were mailed ( as I use AutoPay ) and cashed, with money taken out of my checking account on time. I called TD bank a few times, and simply get stuck in an automated loop without being connected to anyone. Once I was connected, and she said she could not authenticate me on the phone and I would have to try again some other time. TD Bank has no online resource, no online management of the mortgage, and is wrongly charging me late fees.

I have been disputing this/these accounts with The credit reporting agencies who are inaccurately reporting information on my consumer report without my consent. They are in violation of 15 USC 1681 e ( b ) where I am supposed to be promised accuracy in my report based on federal law. Consumer Complaint: I opened an ESCROW account with TD Bank ( XXXX, XXXX XXXX branch ) in XXXX to handle the security deposit for a rental we have in XXXX XXXX In XXXX we moved to XXXX and I advised TD Bank to change our mailing address ( to become in XXXX where we moved. In XXXX of XXXX I went to the bank and asked about the account. I was told it had become dormant in XXXX and they did not have the correct mailing address. The bank re-activated the escrow account but then charged {$15.00} per month as banking fees because " the account was changed in XXXX to a different one that had banking fees if it fell below a certain limit ''. This is an ESCROW account that will not increase in value. The funds are there as a security and is in the name of the tenant ( I am the escrow holder ). The bank charged an amount nearly {$800.00} for as a service fee over the course of the years. I complained to the bank branch in XXXX, XXXX where we bank and was advised by the bank manager ( after 3 months of waiting ) that she could not do anything ( bank statements which I never received have a 30 day contestation period ). They therefore did not refund any of the money that was charged.

Consumer Complaint: I have the Target XXXX Card which I use for purchases online and in-store at Target. I realized that my statement does not itemize my purchases. Instead, purchases are listed by the date and total amount. I reached out to Target today and they told me I can cross reference using the Target XXXX but this is unrealistic. Nobody has the time for this. What about people who aren't able to use the app or have a computer? Are they supposed to keep paper receipts and cross reference every month? This seems discriminatory, edging on elder abuse, and makes it impossible to monitor for fraud.
