Consumer Complaint: On XXXX, I received a hard hit inquiry notification on my XXXX Credit Report. The inquiry came from TD BankXXXX XXXX XXXX TD Bank opened an account in my name and address for someone wo purchased XXXX separate items from XXXX. I never authorized TD Bank to pull my credit nor was it I who opened the account. TD Bank authorized a credit limit of {$4500.00} in which {$4000.00} was used to purchase XXXX separate items from XXXX. I called XXXX that same day ( after I saw XXXX emails about confirmed XXXX purchases ). XXXX is in the process ( with XXXX ) of stopping the deliveries to my address. The Rep from XXXX gave me a phone number and email address of a person of interest. Even though the account has my name and home address and email address, it also has another phone number and email address as well. I called all XXXX Credit Bureaus today and put a FREEZE and SECURITY ALERT in my file. They also suggest I take this step to further stop the criminal and any further damage.

They insisted that it was not them. I contacted XXXX and had a review done and put my credit on fraud alert for a year. The XXXX investigation came back updated and they did NOT remove the Nordstrom inquiry. I have no clue who or where this inquiry launched from.

Consumer Complaint: After being a loyal customer and credit card holder for over 30 years at XXXX, they reported me as having a late payment when I was affected by XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/28, while staying on XXXX XXXX, as my home in XXXX has been under construction. I was forced to evacuate, had no service, etc. I made the payment as soon as possible, the account is current, but it caused my credit score to drop by XXXX pts. This is egregiously extreme and unfair. I contacted them and disputed the reporting through XXXX, but they're refusing to do anything as my home address was not considered to be an area that had a direct hit. However, I was not at my home at the time, I was in the middle of a hurricane on XXXX having to be evacuated. I feel this is not fair and was hoping for some type of resolution to this issue. Consumer Complaint: Dear CFPB, All banks in XXXX allow payment of checks based on deposits. I deposited a simple check of $ XXXX. TD placed a XXXX business day hold on my check. I needed the money urgently. I tried to cover by transferring money. Now, TD charged me {$15.00} wire fee. This has happened more than once... .where I put money to cover some payments but for no reason TD 's staff placed a LONG LONG hold on the check. Please investigate this issue and ask TD for supply data on how many people were charged fees for overdraft, even though they had deposited funds to cover their payments. I have been with TD for 20 years.
