Consumer Complaint: My loan was transferred to Shellpoint Mortgage Services in XXXX of 2020. As of XX/XX/2020 the loan was paid in full and all loan requirements were satisfied to release lien and title. In order to transfer the property to real property from a mobile home, DMV ( Department of Motor Vehicles ) requires the original title or original release of lien to be provided. After contacting Shellpoint Mortgage reoccuring weekly since XX/XX/2020 to provide ORIGINAL release of lien or title I have still not received. Shellpoint mortgage has since operated like a predatory lender and violates their policy to send original copies of requested documents within 90 days. My wife lost her job due to COVID and we have been trying to sell the property since XXXX for some financial relief and Shellpoint continues to delay this information and handles the situation very laxed with no regard for doing their part.

Consumer Complaint: In a previous comlpaint, ID : XXXX, the following issues had been addressed : New Rez/Shellpoint Mortgage failed to pay taxes to XXXX County, Minnesota from my escrow account making me delinquent in my property taxes due, taxes were paid to City of XXXX, Virginia, New Rez/Shellpoint Mortgage failed to property record tax information provided by XXXX XXXX XXXX who originally granted the mortgage, New Rez/Shellpoint failed to take any action for several months so that the delinquent tax bill accrued interest. In XXXX, I was notified that the tax payment to XXXX XXXX, Minnesota had failed and that the first semiannual taxes remained unpaid. In addition, the second semiannual taxes were due on XX/XX/XXXX. Now, I am very much overdue for the first semiannual tax, and now overdue for the second. There has been no further communication since I submitted my documentation stating so. New Rez/Shellpoint must pay the taxes properly so that it no longer negatively impacts my life, credit, and future career as a lawyer.

Issue: Applying for a mortgage or refinancing an existing mortgage

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a mortgage refinance from same lender. I have signed up for receiving my documents via email only from the lender for my existing mortgage. Inspite of that lender sent me loan diclosure for refinace through USPS. Now, due to election USPS delivered my package to wrong address. People who received my package delivered my package to me but not before they opened it. I can not do anything since per law they claim that they have opened it by mistake. And to my surprise, New Rez doesn't even mask PII like SSN on the loan disclosure document.

Also, because New Rez is showing we are late on our payments when we are not late. Consumer Complaint: I purchased a brand new home in XX/XX/1996. I made a {$20000.00} down payment mortgage balance was {$72000.00}. The loan has been transferd from XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Ditech, NewRez, Shellpoint. XXXX forced me into Making Homes Affordable when the XXXX Oil Spill hit. I lost my {$80000.00} job and was only 2 months behind. When I tried to call in my 3 months worth of payments they would not accept the money. I have no idea how much money was added to the principal including interest during this time period ... because no one can produce it. Then when I recovered I stared making additional principal payments to Ditech ... XXXXthey really socked it to me by putting the payments in an " UNAPPLIED BALANCE '' account in the amount of {$13000.00} +. After 1 year of telephone calls to Ditech to correct their mistake they file bankruptcy. Now NewRez says they can't correct previous service providers mistakes and I still owe another 40 years worth of payments at $ XXXX. I have been dealing with this for 15 years ... the house should be paid off by now. I will be XXXX in XXXX, no one will correct this mistake. PLEASE HELP!

Consumer Complaint: Purchased a lot with 2 houses on it in XX/XX/XXXX. The house that was built in XXXX had water running underneath it compromising the floor joist and creating XXXX XXXX. I tore it down on the XXXX of XXXX. The Mortgage company went into my escrow account and took XXXX for a home owners policy for a home that no longer exists. I have tried several times to get my money back they are refusing to comply. I have copies of front and back of the 2 checks I wrote on the 3rd for track how and dumpsters, I have documents from the county showing the reduction of tax. XXXX XXXX shows one house. The other house is insured thru XXXX XXXX. They are really difficult, do not trust me in any way.
