Consumer Complaint: On Monday, XX/XX/2021, I overnighted a payoff check to Chrysler Capital for my auto loan account. I received confirmation of signature and delivery that it was delivered on Tuesday, XX/XX/2021 at XXXX XXXX. It's now Monday, XX/XX/2021 and as of today the check has not been cashed and my account is still open. I submitted 3 requests via Chrysler Capital 's inbox feature and they continue to close my cases without doing anything. I called about this five times and was told each time the accounting department would look into this. I still haven't heard back. I called again on XX/XX/2021 and employee number XXXX told me I needed to fax a copy of the front and back of the cashed check. When I told her they had the check and it hasn't been cashed, she continued to repeat herself and then hung up on me. Now they have drafted my account again for another payment, interest continues to accrue and I don't seem to be able to close this account.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at the time of purchase I did not have a strong financial background in terms of a job as I was working part time for a retail company making {$10.00} an hour and was a XXXX XXXX XXXX. The car salesmen was aware of this, he asked me to provide my paystubs and student loan information as he will handle the rest on his end. I was only XXXX XXXX XXXX and saved up {$2500.00} from working I had no idea what I was doing but I was looking for a car to get me back and forth from XXXX to XXXX XXXX for XXXX. In XXXX, I became XXXX with my XXXX XXXX and had a difficult XXXX which required me to be out of work often, in result I was not making enough money to cover the $ XXXX monthly car payments. I tried discussing a payment plan with Santander Consumer USA however they were not inclined on making such a plan as they wanted a full payment. In result on XX/XX/XXXX the vehicle was repossessed, I did not have the money to pay the past due balance and the fees associated to obtain the vehicle again. When I called late XXXX of XXXX about the vehicle I was told the vehicle had already been sold and the final amount of the account will be sent to me. My last call to Santander Consumer USA was sometime in XX/XX/XXXX as I received a notice with a balance of around {$14000.00}, I inquired on why the amount was higher than what the vehicle was purchased and why they were attempting to collect on a balance of {$14000.00} when the vehicle was sold and funds were recouped from the loss of the sale. I did not receive a direct response but instead the call was forward to a department to discuss the situation however no one responded the call. When the account was placed on my credit in XX/XX/XXXX it was first reported as a repossession than in XX/XX/XXXX it was changed to charged off. I have been disputing this case with all three credit bureaus due to the egregious errors placed on my credit and the shady practices that Santander Consumer USA is participating in. Santander Consumer USA has placed on my credit file that {$7500.00} was written off and {$10000.00} is past due. How can I owe {$18000.00} on a vehicle that was not merely purchased for that price, I purchased the vehicle for around {$13000.00} and the vehicle was sold in under 2 months upon repossession. I never received documentation on how much the vehicle was sold for and I still do not understand why there is a balance of {$10000.00}. In XXXX, I received notification from the state of XXXX that my account in question was eligible to have the outstanding loan to be waived under a court case that was ongoing. When I contacted Santander Consumer USA to discuss my account and it being waived I was told my account was not included in the waived account list. When I researched it further and contacted the hotline where account holders can obtain further information about the case I was told that my account is apart of the waiver.

Consumer Complaint: Chrysler Capital is reporting late notations on XX/XX/2019. My husband and I worked for a company that ended up going bankrupt and leaving both of us with no work. We kept getting promises of getting paid and we went months without receiving a paycheck and when the company went bankrupt, we saw no pay for the months of work that we did. We fell behind on accounts and caught up as soon as we could. We ask that Chrysler Capital please remove the XX/XX/2019late notations.

Consumer Complaint: Chrysler Capital are reporting lates for XX/XX/XXXX20 and XX/XX/XXXX20 on my credit credit as well as my husbands. We ask that they please remove the lates from our file. We ended up contracting XXXX and got very very sick and had to be in the hospital for well over a month. We really couldn't do anything, we had our family members helping us as much as they could but we got behind for a couple months on a few bills. This was not intentional, we had a very difficult time in the hospital. I ask they make a one time good will adjustment and remove the 2020 late notations from our file.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is with Santander Consumer. First off I had no idea who my auto loan was through up until recently when I went online to check my credit score and saw they now have reported 3 missed payments on my credit report. I spoke to a representative about this issue and she advised me that this was a reoccurring problem theyve been having with multiple accounts they have with their customers. She also stated that they have been attempting to reach out to me but from what I can tell from my phone records I obtained separately through my carrier they continuously use different phone numbers. So because its never the same number my phone automatically filters it as a potential spam call which means it mutes any unrecognized call.

Consumer Complaint: Santander USA failure to accept Federal Truth In Lending Act Striking a balance : when to extend the right to rescind under three years which occurred between Santander USA and me. The the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX tow my car for a ticket. Was been forced to paid {$3500.00} with legal reasons. I informed Santander USA. We both agreed that they would get the ticket paid for at {$350.00} and agreed to renegotiated contract attached voided the original car note as a provision. That contract was executed and Santander USA reporting deragotory information on my credit up to date. They have the car and was released of all debts with proof attached.
