Consumer Complaint: Received a call at XXXX MST, which is the time zone I have primarily resided for over 2 years. Additionally the company makes incessant calls while I am at work, refusing to identify themselves or the nature of their calls. Consumer Complaint: Requested validation of a claim that I owe them, made pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act, along with the corresponding local state laws. The attempts have gone unanswered were asking for evidence bearing my signature ( Not a transaction list ), showing that I have ( or ever had ) some contractual obligation to pay them I have not received any proof that Im obligated to pay them for any debt that has been paid to the original account holder and been sold, and re-sold again to a third party collection agency. Any negative mark found on my credit reports ( including XXXX, XXXX and XXXX ) from XXXX for a debt that I don't owe, is a violation of the FCRA & FDCPA. As per FTC opinion letter from Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX, you should be aware that a printout of a bill or itemized document does not constitute verification. Therefore if XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX can not validate according to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), you are required by federal law to verify - through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, this must be removed and cease contact.

Subissue: Frequent or repeated calls
Consumer Complaint: Portfolio recovery associates called on following dates with several different phone numbers. After a letter stating that they cant sue due to its age there is no proof of debt in this letter as to last date paid no signed contract between me etc they were told until they can prove the actual debt ( which they have failed to do so ) to stop all further calls or communications. Repetition of calls is harassing behavior! Especially without time to look at letter that was requested more than 7 calls before this. They are using repetitive calls as a tactic to try to get people to pay on debts not owed. XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX letter received but failed to state when last payment was made and chain of custody proof that amount was whats true or not, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX ( first original date I requested proof but none still given ). I have reason to believe that this portfolio recovery services is trying to scam on a time barred debt ( past the statute of limitations ). There have been more than 6numbers that I can count that they have called me from and none are their actual buisness numbers. Only one that I can recall of.

Consumer Complaint: previously disputed account through CFPB reference number XXXX and results came back still inaccurate. I have been asking for verification on debt you claim is mine. Results to CFPB dispute came back with a bill statement but bill statement is not a way of verification. Bill statement that was provided as results of verification states credit limit as {$250.00} and balance shows to be {$390.00} at one point and {$480.00} on different bill statement this is not possible. There is no way that balance is higher than credit limit.. I ask that you please provide information on how you claim that account belongs to me. What method was being used to make payments, and what other method is being used to verify that debt belongs to me? As of right now account is still in accurate and I ask that you delete immediately if you can not provide accurate information.
