Consumer Complaint: I was very ill when I was XXXX, I had to have XXXX that put me out of work for almost a year. I could not pay for the credit card but tried to discuss that with the bank, I was told there was nothing they could do and they had already placed it in collection. I was told that I could settle for a lower amount than I initially owed and that upon paying my debt would be erased from my credit history ( the main reason I paid it off ). I noticed recently that nothing was ever removed from my credit report like the representative told me it would be. I spent months checking thinking maybe it takes a while but over 1 year later still nothing. I was lied to, they just wanted to take my money, and they overcharged me for my debt.

Consumer Complaint: What is reported on my credit does not match the invoice I was give by collection agency. I gave credit bureaus that & proof my identity was stolen twice & they keep siding with collection agency. The apartment on my credit is in Georgia, I contacted them & provided that proof to the credit bureaus. I have told this collection agency many times that their info is false & to get it off my credit. They send me an invoice for a complex on XXXX, tx yet post a complex in Georgia on my credit. My lawyer has been disputing this with them since XXXX yet after everything its still on my credit report. Ive given credit bureaus letters for complex in Georgia stating I never lived there, police, XXXX XXXX XXXX reports but they side with collection agency. I & my lawyer have given all this to collection agency & still its on my credit for $ XXXX
