Consumer Complaint: i have been getting calls from Portfolio recovery for years over a debt that iiiis not mine. it's the same name but not exact to my own. ive asked them to send me the info showing i applied for the credit and they have not been able to show anything. the statement they provided is for a " XXXX XXXX '' however i have never gone by that name ever especially when applying for credit. it's a XXXX name not a legal name. I asked for them to verify the actual applicaation submitted to the creditor and all they submitted to me was a statement which proved nothing as i suspected.

Consumer Complaint: I took out a credit card for XXXX. I was not working at the time but had a monthy percapita. Shortly after the pandemic hit. They told me if I didn't pay it back it would follow me for 7 years and never be able to get a loan. I tried to make payments but was unsuccessful. I also made a plea to pay what was initially owed as this is almost triple what I actually owe.

Consumer Complaint: Identity Fraud and theft has apparently happened because this is not a credit account that I have ever applied for? I just recieve fraudulent bills in the mail. Then when I call to question this account and report it as fraudulent. The multiple phone calls start everyday. Along with threatening mail and everything else. This company uses every possible threatening means possible to collect fraudulent debt. They don't respond to the words of identification theft and fraud. Instead they double up on threats. This company is using a couple of hundred different phone numbers to harrase you daily from multiple areas? They are fraudulent credit preditors?
