Consumer Complaint: I opened a HELOC with PNC on XX/XX/XXXX and proceeded to make payments towards the loan per our agreement. I logged into my account on XX/XX/XXXX and saw that there were multiple line items in my account that I did not recognize. Some were {$0.00} transactionss and some were labeled " misapplication reversal ''. The PNC escalation told me that i should've been notified of an issue ( which I wasn't ) and that I shouldn't worry that it would all be cleared up by XX/XX/XXXX. He stated that there were many issues with their systems and they were just going to backdate my payments ( which I can not believe he said they were doing ). At this point nothing has been correct, my payments are not applied correctly, and I have no idea what the status of my loan is. It's saying that I have a payment due on XX/XX/XXXX even though I have already made my payment for that month. The rep today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) that this issue has been ongoing for SIX MONTHS and that it should be fixed soon. I have no faith in them fixing this issue and have no faith in them correcting my account to a normal status.

Issue: Managing the loan or lease
Subissue: Billing problem
Consumer Complaint: PNC is the company I am having a dispute with. I sent in a form to change my payment date. They did not process the payment date change in time. I went online and paid my bill last month, for some reason the payment was reversed even though funds were available in the account selected and the only reason I set up online bill pay was because I would be charged if I continued to pay over the phone. I was contacted by the company saying i was 37 days past dude 10 days of my payment was reversed and I was not aware of the reversal. I made a payment on the phone today with the rep and asked to have the late charges removed and the info removed from my credit report to avoid it lowering my credit score since I attempted to pay, they said they can not help me even though she apologized on behalf of PNC for the inconvenience regarding the payment date change, payment reversal, and incorrect processing of the payment due date change.

Consumer Complaint: I have had issues with PNC bank regarding overdraft fees since I first opened the bank account in XXXX. I have below dates and total dollar amount taken from me since XXXX. It has been a lot more than this prior to XXXX but information is not easy to obtain. it would cost me {$5.00} per statement just to obtain every overdraft fee. I have been in contact with PNC on an every week basis and I am always fighting with them some times on social media on XXXX. I was unable to obtain any reward from the previous class action against them as I was a year too late. I am willing to pursue a new one if this issue does not resolve itself after this complaint. Overdraft fees hit on my account might into the thousands. ( 2 ) fees from this time period may have been refunded since this time period but all else stands. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2018I received a notice that PNC bank had issued a 30 day late default on my credit report. In XX/XX/2018 I entered into a PNC personal loan that was supposed to be auto removed from my PNC account.. The first auto removal was in XX/XX/2018 and was deducted correctly. In XX/XX/XXXX I received notice that XX/XX/XXXX payment had not been made. I contacted PNC two separate times around XX/XX/XXXX and was ensured every thing was fine that they are unsure how the situation happened and I was scheduled for auto deduct and every thing should be fine. When I received the notice today I called PNC and after 1.5 hours was able to finally find a person that could figure out what happened with the account. She stated that at some point after to first auto deduct PNC went in and adjusted my rate to reflect the agreed 0.25 deduction for auto deduct payment and that some how messed up PNC 's system and the payment was not taken out. It happened again in XX/XX/XXXX she said, even after I called on 2 different occations and was told it was corrected. I am not late on any payments. My credit should not have been negatively affected this way. This was a PNC error. I am not late on any payments and all payments are up to date. Please remove this from my credit.

Consumer Complaint: I have three accounts with PNC and on XX/XX/18 I return from XXXX. We had money in our main joint account when checked on mobile banking app. At no point did it say I was overdrawn. If so we had additional money in another account. At about XXXX and email came to my inbox saying we was overdrawn my husband check account and we had already been charged XXXXfees for ATM FEES WHEN TRAVELING. We get the ATM fees back at end of month. Went in to downtown branch on XX/XX/18 and was told the same thing fees came from ATM charges and was told would be forwarded up to be reviewed. Was called back on XX/XX/18 and was told fees couldnt be refunded. We are never over on our account this is our second vacation and the first time the same thing happened and fees was refunded. We didnt get timeframe to transfer funds before charged. I dont feel like this is fair.

Consumer Complaint: I have had a new mortgage with PNC bank for 18 months. I do not have a payment book. I was told to make my payment by telephone. In XX/XX/2018, the bank added a {$7.00} fee for paying by telephone. They started sending a payment letter monthly. In XX/XX/2018, I was told they cancelled the extra fee because their customers where unhappy. In XXXX, they started the {$7.00} fee again. I was traveling. The payment letter arrives about one week before payment is due. I was not here. When I returned, there was not time to mail a payment before the due date. THIS practice is unfair to the customers but would make PLENTY of money for the bank. I travel frequently. I expect a financial institution to furnish me with a complete payment book and to allow me to pay by telephone if needed. Another abuse to consumers by the banking industry. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: On Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX, my husband and I were out on a date night around XXXX XXXX where I pulled up my account and saw I had about 60 dollars in there. Then at XXXXnight, my direct deposit from work came through. The next morning I woke up to find two seperate overdraft fees for two withdrawals that had apparently come through between XXXX and XXXXnight. While I understand what an overdraft fee is and take responsibility for the fact that I had not realized a check I had written would be coming through, I find it completely unfair and sickening that these transactions would be posted at XXXX at night, just minutes before my pay check was deposited, and cause me to have XXXX dollars in overdraft fees. In addition, I find it completely suspicious that the transaction with the higher amount, which was a check for XXXX dollars, was posted first followed by a smaller transaction for only XXXX dollars that would not have caused an overdraft fee because I had 60 dollars in my account. If PNC would have refunds even just the one fee, I would have been okay with it. Instead they were rude and condescending and refused to budge on the fees, even after I broke down in tears telling them I couldnt afford to buy groceries this week now. We have been customers of PNC for 15+ years ... its just sickening that they are so okay with losing us as customers that they will let us go for XXXX dollars. The other thing that is completely upsetting is that last summer, we had around 20,000 dollars in our account, and we were getting frequent calls from PNC offering us all sorts of incentives and asking if there was anything they could do for us. Sad that while we are going through a difficult time financially, we get punished and ignored. I am cancelling my account but just felt compelled to file a complaint because Ive been sick to my stomach after speaking with customer service earlier today.
