Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Charged too much interest
Consumer Complaint: PNC Bank charged extra interest ( {$1.00} ) for multiple months ( XX/XX/2019, XX/XX/2019, and XX/XX/2019 ) after I paid off a cash advance balance ( from XX/XX/2019 ). This issue was not resolved until I called the company after three additional interest charges were collected on a XXXX balance due to minimum interest charges. While the company ultimately refunded two of the months this issue would have continued due to PNC 's lack of a controls and monitoring over recurring " minimum '' charges. I only caught the charges since they were incurred on the last day of the month, but if they had been mixed in with lower charges during the period I may not have noticed and this would have resulted in additional charges. The company did not offer compensation or a sufficient explanation why the charges were not stopped at the time the balance was paid and I am concerned that PNC Bank does not have proper monitoring to catch issues like this going forward.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: PNC claimed I owed a debt which I do not owe them. They reversed an old fraud charge to my account when I wanted to close my account last year. I recently opened a cfpb complaint because they were illegally denying me access to my financial statements. They have not responded to my complaint. They did, however, use my contact information from my complaint to update the collection of my account they falsely accused me of owing. They took my personal contact information from my CFPB complaint and are using it to harass me for a debt I do not owe. I'm not surprised, considering they did not protect me from fraud on my account and denied me access to statements of the account. They have no morals or ethics, whatsoever.

Consumer Complaint: We applied to PNC Bank, NA to refinance our current mortgage on XX/XX/2019 at a promised low-interest rate compared to our current mortgage. We heard from the PNC Bank subsequent to the home appraisal about the refinance. However, the terms have been changed substantially and we fused the loan to refinance under these terms. Then, we received a revised refinance loan-term, in writing, on XX/XX/2019 with a stipulation of a loan closing date of XX/XX/2019. We promptly signed the documents ( copies attached ) on XX/XX/2019 and sent them to the Bank expecting a closing of the loan on or after XX/XX/2019. However, we never heard from the Bank yet. We have spent hundreds of hours pursuing this loan and most importantly, we did not apply to any other Bank at the same time. However, PNC Bank has not lived up to its written agreement to refinance the loan.

Consumer Complaint: A Visa card was opened without my knowledge by my ex-wife ending in # XXXX. I have asked PNC to just remove this reference from my credit report since in did not sign for this card, it is current and has never been delinquent. It has a high balance of $ XXXX and I believe it is adversely affecting my FICO score since it is almost at its credit limit. We have been divorced since XXXX ( proof available ) and my defense is PNC can not prove I ever signed for the card or had any knowledge it was open, all other creditors upon our divorce closed or removed the references from my credit report, here are the reason I think PNC should just remove the reference from all XXXX credit services, that is all I am asking. 1 PNC can not prove I ever signed for this card 2 there is no record of me ever making a payment on this card 3 I have never received a card for this account, I have never made a charge or any transaction on this card, I have never received a statement from this card 4 the card can not be tied to my current address which I have been at since XXXX, they have absolutely no NOTHING to tie me to his card/account that my ex-wife opened without my knowledge, this card is also the only " joint '' credit showing on my current credit report 5 I had requested a copy of the signed credit application, they could not provide it stated they only retained it for 7yrs, again PNC can not prove in any way I was involving in opening this Visa card I just want the reference deleted from all 3 credit reports since the high revolving balance almost at the card credit limit is adversely affecting my credit / FICO score since I individually have < {$400.00} in revolving debt. PNC just states its not " our policy '' to remove references, but they can not in any way, shape or form prove I opened this account. Its obvious since I have had no activity as stated before with this Visa that it should remain on my credit report. Person most involved at PNC is XXXX XXXX, PNC Executive Client Relations, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Pa XXXX, XXXX, XXXX

Consumer Complaint: A car dealership fraudulently falsified my original contract and all previous paperwork that I have signed by removing my bank information and get a loan from PNC under my name while I walked in to the dealership with my approval letter from my personal bank that I have been banking with for 10 years. Suprisingly, PNC underwriters still approved the full amount of the loan without contacting me while they see that all the documents submitted on my behalf have my original bank name crossed out and my initials were not even provided. Since the contract has been modified without my consent and I never signed a loan with PNC, I refused to go pick up the car but PNC still not yet removing the loan from my name. ( I know PNC team is currently working on resolving that fraudulent activity but I feel the process is taking too long before they remove that loan under my name )

Consumer Complaint: The PNC interface for business credit card shows up on my consumer account. On the consumer account, the interface says " Amount Due : {$0.00}. '' However, this is inaccurate, conflicting with information elsewhere on PNC. I pointed out this GLARING, MISLEADING ERROR to PNC, but they still charged me a service fee as my " courtesy waiver '' was not available. By any reasonable objective standard, this is not a request for a courtesy credit. This is a request for a credit due to MISLEADING INFORMATION on their poorly administered site. I appreciate your help curbing the abuses in this sector, because recent history shows that companies like XXXX XXXX and perhaps PNC will use consumers like doormats if given half a chance. The manager is XXXX XXXX.
