Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2019, a Over Draft was made to my PNC account. However, I cleared the overdraft the same day and as per PNC customer service they were unwilling to refund me back my Overdraft fee. As per PNC checking account guidelines in order to not get charged an overdraft fee the overdraft must be cleared in the same day. I followed PNC guidelines and were still charged a {$36.00} overdraft fee when I told them I need to pick up my prescription they dismissed it, and said there was nothing they can do. My Reference number from my PNC call XXXX

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I discovered an allotment of {$35.00} bi-weekly from my payroll ( with the U.S. Postal Service ) to PNC Bank. When I called the bank, the bank told me there was no record of this allotment. I cancelled this allotment on XX/XX/XXXX. I fell ill, and forgot about this problem. Recently, I ran across the printout from the Postal Service where I cancelled this allotment to PNC. I decided to pursue this inquiry, as I do not recall ever authorizing this allotment or withdrawing any money that went to PNC Bank. I provided PNC Bank with a copy of the allotment cancellation, which included the Routing Transit Number XXXX, Account Number XXXX, Account Type Savings and Amount {$35.00} bi-weekly. I sent this information to PNC Bank by certified mail. PNC Bank replied on XX/XX/XXXX stating they are " unable to locate an account on file at PNC Bank ''. Signed only by " PNC Bank Retail Operations ''. I don't know how many times the {$35.00} allotment went to PNC -- I didn't catch this allotment till XX/XX/XXXX. I don't know if there's been any fraud involved, but my money seems to have disappeared. I would appreciate it very much if you would investigate as I am not getting any cooperation from PNC Bank. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: Several on going problems with the PNC banl rather than put my health in any way at risk by formal or whatever type of complaints would rather speak with corporate pnc customer service than immediately over assume the situation that the bank stole my money or had fraudulent workers misrepresenting the bank which has resulted in thousands of dollars of potential unrecoverable or payable total loss financially and put mt health at risk when corporate may be able to fix once they look internally about bank representatives pretending to represent pnc and mislead me to gain account information and access which has been reported to pnc bank.

Consumer Complaint: Got a loan with PNC bank. https : //www.pnc.com/ They delayed payment of my loan after close by over 20 days. The bank stated they legally have 5 days to deposit funds. Below is a copy of my checking account with zero funds after the 6th day of closing. The check amount was XXXX {$20000.00} and the first check was cancelled from the corporate the second check sent to the branch was lost in the mail. Subissue: Overdrafts and overdraft fees
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/19 I was checking my email and immediately saw a email from PNC bank saying that my account was over-drafted in the amount of XXXX cents at XXXX XXXX this morning. So I immediately transferred the funds into my account from my reserves because I have the virtual wallet. Then I went on to realize that I was charged a overdraft fee of XXXX. So immediately I contacted my bank when they opened to see if they would wave the overdraft fee. Mind you that I shouldnt have even been charged a fee because I have overdraft protection and any other time PNC takes the money from my other accounts. There was XXXX in my reserve. But on midnight XX/XX/19 everything went hay wire and then Im told that my fee cant be reversed because I have a bad banking history. Really!!! Which I do not by the way and this was not even my fault!!! Then Im told I have to wait 2 days to talk to someone to resolve this issue!!!! Insane!!!!!!!

Consumer Complaint: My student loans take up almost half of my yearly income. I'm having a hard time living off of $ XXXX/month, especially when unexpected things pop up like medical bills, car repairs, moving expenses, etc.. With all my bills paid, I have less than {$100.00} leftover to spend or put in savings or towards those unexpected costs. I can't keep up with it and PNC/XXXX have only one option to reduce my monthly payments - not even based on my income and only a 1 year option ( as if my income is going to increase so significantly in a year that I will be able to afford $ XXXX/mo on my private student loans and over {$200.00} for my federal loans ) - and have made it insanely hard to enable that on my loans. I'm having panic attacks about being able to make these payments and afford to live even at the bare minimum. I've had to work two extra jobs and insane hours to keep up, but I can't do it anymore. My XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is XXXX, making it near impossible to do my job and grow in my career. I don't want to be a mooch and never expected to pay nothing for my education but there has to be SOMETHING, some option available to reduce my payments to a reasonable and livable amount. Please, please help me. I've tried everything I can think of, including an attempt on my own life. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: I submitted an electronic payment for my XX/XX/2019 mortgage, which PNC did not receive until the XXXX of the month. PNC charged me a late fee of {$130.00}. I had already sent in my payment, which included extra principle payment over my required amount. PNC took my extra payment and applied it to the late fee they assessed. I called PNC to request a late fee waiver, since I am eligible to have one. I was told that since the fee was paid there is nothing due and they won't refund my {$130.00} or apply it to my mortgage principle as I intended. PNC said it was keeping my money. PNC took my money and is hiding behind a technicality to withhold my money. I pay on-time except for one late payment over a year ago. I pay more than the required amount each month. PNC is alienating one of their reliable customers over this fee.

Issue: Struggling to pay mortgage
Subissue:
Consumer Complaint: We been dealing with PNC mortgage/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, for over 5 yrs, since XXXX, to try and resolve an issue with them sending back our payments in error in which they sent us a letter stating such mistake. These payments were sent back when they thought we had not made a full payment on a verbal repayment with them, when in reality the payment was a normal mortgage payment, while they had money in a suspense account to cover the rest of the mortgage payment if needed. They admitted their error, asked us to return the payments and when we sent the payments back to PNC, they were rejected again. We have never been approved for ANY other program with PNC to date XX/XX/XXXX. We make enough money and our debt ratio is lower then the threshold. The guidelines used for them are questionable. PNC bank and XXXX send false documents to homeowners only to lead to stealing your home right from under you. They also have very unscrupulous lawyers who do this. Their false documents, massive paperwork to prolong the process and the requesting of documents multiple times is ridiculous. PNC/XXXX have not tried to work with us at all during the entire process. We have never had a loan modification nor any other type of program to help with mortgage. The investors are XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and they are the ones who do not authorize PNC to do any type of modification. We want to keep our home. We went to federal court with PNC in order to stop them from wrongfully foreclosing on our home, to no avail. The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX are the investors who do not offer any assistance whether it is legally supposed to or not. I am going to the press to let them know that PNC mortgage and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX are fraudulently taking people 's home without finding out the circumstances and not allowing for any type of modification.

Consumer Complaint: On Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX, I sent money to an account whom I thought was the owner of a beach house in XXXX totaling {$900.00}. Originally, I had been in contact with someone claiming to be the owner regarding renting the house for the month of XX/XX/XXXX. I sent the money via the XXXX feature through PNC. After sending the money, and receiving some questionable texts from the owner, I decided to look into it further and call the listing agent on the house to confirm the owner of the house. The listing agent confirmed with me that they were not the owners, and this scam had previously taken place last year. I contacted PNC on XX/XX/XXXX, the day I found out this was a scam to file the claim. Today, I found out PNC rejected the claim because the transaction had gone through and I was told from XXXX at PNC that I would need to follow-up with XXXX XXXX ( false owner of house ) to be reimbursed. I explained this can't be done because XXXX XXXX is not a real person.

Issue: Improper use of your report
Subissue: Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize
Consumer Complaint: I have noticed that PNC BANK have placed an inquiry on my XXXX credit file dated XX/XX/2019. As you probably know, Credit Reporting Agencies treat inquiries as a statement of fact and will not allow a consumer to dispute them. I requested both PNC BANK and XXXX to verify these inquiries. Since it is against federal law ( Fair Credit Reporting Act -- 15 USC? 1681b ) for an entity to view a consumer 's credit report without a " permissible purpose, '' I am writing to inquire as to their alleged purpose, for doing so since I did not apply for employment with their organization nor did I request credit from their organization. Based on the evidence in my possession, this inquiry was performed under false pretenses as described in the clear language of the law. 15 USC 1681n ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) states, in part, " in the case of liability of a natural person for obtaining a consumer report under false pretenses or knowingly without a permissible purpose, actual damages sustained by the consumer as a result of the failure are { { {$1000.00} } }, whichever is greater ; ''
