Consumer Complaint: When I took out this mortgage on my home, my escrow account was set up to pay taxes. About a year and a half ago the company started sending me monthly payments that didnt include escrow payment, only principle and interest. I called the company to ask them to correct this error and put back my monthly payment as it originally was with escrow. They assured me they would take care of it and fix. A few months after that still nothing was corrected and I got a late notice for taxes not being paid. I tried again to fix with the company and still I thing was done. I decided they werent competent to correct their error. I have been paying taxes personally ever since and i now have this company showing I have a negative escrow balance which they now want to increase my monthly payment to pay for a negative escrow. Once again I have tried numerous times to contact them to fix this and again I am getting no where. I have sent them all paid checks and invoices from the city tax department of my payment. Its to the point that I cant keep on top of a company from doing the correct thing. With a newborn and work of my own, I accepted this mortgage where it was setup so I wouldnt have to deal with these issues on a constant basis to make sure everything is paid in time. I am wondering if I need to seek legal advice and escalate this to the next step.

Consumer Complaint: This company continues to report negatively against my credit both during a home loan modification process this past XX/XX/XXXX. Additionally, this company has refused to report payments received since XX/XX/XXXX. The company refuses to furnish the home loan modification agreement and is reporting my payments for over a year as unpaid. This company refuses to answer or return calls. I have been told that I have a " case manager '' overseas in the XXXX and have never spoken to anyone directly. This company continues to commit FRAUD against my credit report and collect monies that are not applied to my account. I have filed complaints over the past year with PHH mortgage and have not received a single follow up. Today I was on hold for 2 1/1 HOURS and have not received a single follow up. HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Consumer Complaint: I am a senior citizen on XXXX a fixed income. due to my condition a modification was negotiated with Ocwen loan Servicing LLc in XXXX with a deferred {$XXXX} at loan term in XXXX. after much litigation, as Ioan had no prepayment penalty I paid all bearing interest principal in full, {$XXXX} monthly payments were made {$XXXX} principal & {$XXXX} escrow. Ocwen then decided to refuse monthly payment after a year of litigation they realized I was complying with modification terms. in XXXX Ocwen decided to modify except they demanded I pay {$XXXX} to start modification. to me it was surprising as I never heard of payment to modify person 's loan on XXXX. ocwen refused paymwents twice, then I included Ocwens representative 's correspondence which stated I was to pay principal bearing interest first then with no penalty. as seen in attached documents, with my family 's help I managed to pay all monthly payments in addition XX/XX/XXXX {$XXXX} in following months We paid another {$XXXX}. in XXXX we paid over {$6000.00}. XX/XX/XXXX taxes and insurance as seen paid into escrow. PHH is demanding more escrow for projection which is unfair as I already send my entire Social Security check to satisfy loan. We no late payments or past due except PHH wants to add over {$3000.00} dollars to loan for projections. I advised PHH that my modification is specific to exact payments due to limited income. to no avail even talking to managers.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2017 my Bankruptcy was confirmed. My Trustee is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX Maryland XXXX. For the last 2 years, Owen Loan Servicing, LLC and now PHH Mortgage has failed to following Bankruptcy procdures. They have attempted 3 times to CANCEL my homeowners insurance, fraudulently informing my Homeowners insurance company that I have vacated the premises ( home : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, Md XXXX ). When i thought it could not get any worse, they Changed my Gas and Electric Bill into there name and attempted to turn off my Gas and Electric. My bank can provide statements that {$2000.00} each month is automatically sent to the Mortgage company. My Job can provide documentation that Bankrupcy payments are payroll deducted. They continue to contact me even though i'm fully in compliance with the Bankruptcy Agreement. They fraudulently attempting to bully me. They refuse to comply with the Bankruptcy agreement.

Issue: Struggling to pay mortgage

Consumer Complaint: We have been trying to resolve our past payments that were missed with our lender PHH mortgage. We tried to set up a payment plan over the phone with the lender PHH, had a verbal agreement of {$5000.00} dollars a month in XXXX, never received any formal information in the mail as promised and had our {$5000.00} check refused ( see attachment ). In XXXX, we sent {$10000.00} to the lender, but they said it was not received. In XXXX our mortgage statement was {$22000.00}. We sent a check over the amount for {$23000.00} that was refused due to insufficient amount to cure default. The funds we provided before the XXXX of the month, but yet not only refused and still late fees were applied ( see attached ). Upon calling our lender, multiple times, being told that we will hear from the foreclosure lawyer, not given a number to contact, calling again to get a number, given a number, emailed the assigned lawyer but still no contact or ability to clear this up. We currently have a monthly statement for XXXX for {$26000.00}. We have the funds to pay this amount and am currently working with someone at XXXX to help clarify with the lender of what is actually needed. We will be contacting the lender again tomorrow together XX/XX/2019 to get a clear answer on what is actually due..

Consumer Complaint: In early XXXX my dad directed me to obtain his home loan payoff with PHH Mortgage Services. I did so and obtained a payoff of {$7200.00} and set date for payoff was XX/XX/2019. Dad directed me as his power of attorney to pay the mortgage off with the pay off instruction. I went on XX/XX/2019 to my local credit union and did a wire transfer for {$7200.00} plus a {$20.00} fee for doing so. PHH mortgage services mistakenly applied the amount to the wrong account which was my personal account with them for my home, not my dad. I don't know how or why they did this my payoff is way higher than my dads home. I have contacted PHH mortgages and they have told me they are working on it but nearly two months later have not done so. They in fact are sending me default of loan letters for my dads property which is now my property. Can someone please help me with his complaint. PHH mortgages is not listening.

Issue: Applying for a mortgage or refinancing an existing mortgage

Consumer Complaint: My husband lost his job and he was without a job for 8 months and the mortgage went from XXXX to XXXX because we didnt do the start program. We started the process of the loan modification and we made 3 payments in a roll. One day we received a letter saying that we going into foreclosure. The letter include the name of the case manager with an extension number we started calling and we couldnt reach him so when other representatives answers the phone they cant give you information about our case. One day finally other case manager tell us that the modification process was denied because we have a hold in the tittle. The house was purchased in XXXX and the hold was for a ticket in XXXX. We put 20 % of down payment. So they tell us to started the process again sending all the information that we pay the ticket. We did that and for several weeks since we started for the second time in XXXX they never received the information or the system was down or we needed to wait 48 hours for them to receive the emails. I send the information by fax, mail and email and they never received it. Our intention was always to pay but they dont let us pay part of it. So now on XXXX we received the letter that we are in foreclosure. So we feel that we were played. I do have emails proving that they received the letter email. But they keep changing the email address every time that I spoke to a different customer representative

Consumer Complaint: On Monday, XXXX, I emailed my mortgage company to request a payoff, as I am considering selling my home. Using the email located in the lender 's portal, I emailed my request for a payoff statement. The email bounced back as undeliverable. I did my due diligence and made sure the email address was correct. It was. The email address in the lender 's portal for payoffs is not an active email address. I then forwarded my email to every email address on the lender 's portal that I was able to locate, asking that they please contact me or provide me with a correct email address so I may obtain a payoff. To date, I have not received an acknowledgment or response from the lender. I am entitled to this information. This appears to be a deliberate action by the lender which is artfully designed to not provide payoff information on their mortgages and the practice is unprofessional. I do not know if this violates any banking laws but I do know I am entitled to obtain a payoff from my lender. I would be grateful for some assistance. This lender is : PHH Mortgage ( formerly Ocwen ) who has been guilty of a myriad of violations in the past ( i.e., class action lawsuits. ). Thank you.
