Consumer Complaint: I have a nearly perfect credit record on all 3 credit bureau reports. The only blemish is one late payment on my Ocwen mortgage listed in my XXXX and XXXX accounts. First, I never had a late payment. Second, When I closed my account with Ocwen during XX/XX/XXXX, I had no late payments reflected. Third, three years after my account was closed, paid in full with no late payments, Ocwen reported my last payment on my account as 30 days late? They entered this update during XX/XX/XXXX, like it was a recent missed payment on my XXXX and XXXX account. I mailed Ocwen with documentation twice, and twice they never answered my correspondence, even though they are required to send me a reply within 30 days of receipt. I have proof of receipt with a signature for both letters and background documents that I sent. I have also tried to correct with XXXX and XXXX, but their response has been that Ocwen verified that the information is correct. In both cases, XXXX and XXXX did not explain how they completed the reservation or who they talked with at Ocwen. All I want is an answer back from Ocwen : if this complaint doesn't work, I will hire a lawyer and sue them under the FCRA. Thank you.

PHH mortgage which services my mortgage account obtained an insurance company to cover the loss and issued a payment for {$380000.00} to rebuild. I obtained a contractor XXXX home builders along with XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. Permits where obtained and construction started in XX/XX/XXXX. Around XX/XX/XXXX the project was halted due to a correction discovered by the County inspector. The project has since been at a standstill since then and PHH mortgage which has the remaining {$190000.00} in an escrow account is refusing to release additional funds to make the necessary corrections in order to complete the project. I have been reaching out to them since XXXX XXXX in order to explain the situation and have a small portion of the funds released to get the correction complete and get us over the 50 % status in order to get a larger portion of these funds to move forward. I have hired an attorney XXXX XXXX to handle the matter but it has been a huge financial burden for me. I continue to make monthly mortgage payments for my house while living elsewhere. I can not continue much longer as things are and need assistance urgently. Having lost all my personal belongings in the fire. Becoming homeless overnight and struggling to keep my job and sanity. Consumer Complaint: I contacted PHH Mortgage on XX/XX/2020 inquiring on how to transfer my loan and deed to my sister in law ( Loan Assumption ). the representative with ID # XXXX ( XXXX ) told me that i will received a package in 7 days. We will need to complete and send it back to PHH Mortgage. On XX/XX/2020 called again and spoke to XXXX and he told me they will expedite the package because was not send yet. XX/XX/2020 still did not receive the loan assumption package and called again. i requested to speak to a manager and i was transfer to XXXX, ID # XXXX. He told me he will call me back once the package was mail. on XX/XX/2020 he called to let me know i should received my package soon because it was mailed out on XX/XX/2020. XX/XX/2020, still did not received my loan assumption package, called back and representative with ID # XXXX after i explained my frustruation, he told me that the package will me sent by E-mail and Fax in the next 24 to 48 hours, he copy all my information ( E-mail address and Fax # ) and placed me on hold and then hang up the phone on me. a few minutes late he called me back and promissed to fax and e-mail the documents. XX/XX/2020, did not received an E-mail, fax or package by mail. called again and spoke to representative with ID # XXXX, then he proceed to fax me a letter with instructions on how to request a loan assumption .... again no application was sent or anything else. I am frustrated by now and still need to transfer my home to my sister in law. Best regards, XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I had a loan that was serviced by Ocwen Federal, this was back in early 2005 I was recovering from injuries I suffered in a HATE CRIME! I was trying to keep my property out of foreclosure. Owen Federal was claiming I owed more than really was owed? I tried to tell them there figures were wrong but to no avail they foreclosure ans I lost my home! The address of property is in XXXX CaliforniaXXXX XXXX XXXX I haired a lawyer XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX I paid him {$2500.00} Cash and he did nothing to help took my money and I tried suing him I'm Small Claims Court. But lost and judge awarded him {$5000.00}? What Ocwen Federal refused to do was contact HUD that had set me up on a program to keep my home paying 90 % of my mortgage they claimed I was not assisted by HUD foreclosure and took my property! I was trying to stop Owen but they were very unwilling to help or contact HUD they got away withy home worth {$100000.00} at time! Over these many years I have lost most paper work but I will contact HUD for any information they have.I LET MY FAMILY DOWN I KNOW I WAS RIPPED OFF BY OCWEN FEDERAL! Consumer Complaint: I have a mortgage through PHH Mortgage company. I confirmed with a PHH representative that all of an excess monthly mortgage payment will automatically be applied to the principal balance. For several months, my excess payments were being applied to my principal balance. However, on XX/XX/2020, I sent a payment of {$7000.00} to PHH. As my monthly payment is {$1700.00}, {$5200.00} should have automatically been applied to my principal balance. Without my express permission, instead of applying the full amount to my principal balance, PHH deducted {$1700.00} as an " advanced '' XXXX payment. I called PHH and explained the issue and stated unequivocally that I wanted ALL excess mortgage payments to be applied to my principal, and not to any advanced monthly payment. On XXXX XXXX I made a {$7000.00} mortgage payment. Despite my previously stated instructions, PHH once again failed to apply the excess amount to my principal. As before, they deducted {$1700.00} as an " advanced '' XXXX payment. Given that practice has only begun as I am approaching mortgage pay off, I believe PHH is deliberately refusing to apply my excess mortgage payment to principal in order to increase the life of the loan to increase their interest profits.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I was suspended from employment, I did request from PHH mortgage a forbearance plan for XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. I went back to work and re start the payments on XXXX XXXX2020. I asked them what will be the next step in relation with the forbearance, they told me they need to modify the loan and ask for all the documentation, i did submit all the documents back in XXXX, but still not resolution up to today. I ask the why they keep sending me statements with late payments due, and they answer not to pay attention to them. Last thing that happened is that they report to XXXX a missing payments report on the loan and i lost 85 points on my credit score, i did call them regarding this issue and they told me they can not fixed.another thing I notice on my statement they are collecting on my payments MIP and PMI insurance on my mortgage, and my understanding is that should be only one, no both.
