Consumer Complaint: XXXX incorrectly reported my mortgage as being in forbearance. We never requested forbearance, and all of our payments have been on time. This ruined our refinance and now they refuse to even provide a letter correcting this false report.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a reverse mortgage and the process seemed to be going very well, until the appraiser came out to appraise my manufactured home. I have my home and I also have a mobile on my property that I rent and I rent a lot space for another person to keep their mobile home here. I had disclosed this information to the lender at the time I applied for this loan and was told there would be no issues. I have received a letter informing me that my application was declined and the reason simply says that I was declined because ( property does not meet minimum FHA standards ) I don't know what issue or issues caused the denial.

Consumer Complaint: Hello- My money is escrowed and PHH Mortgage has not paid my property taxes that were due in XX/XX/2020. I have been calling them since XXXX and have spoken with at least 10 different escalation agents. My property taxes were due in XXXX. Late fees have been accumulating and I am afraid I am going to be foreclosed upon if they do not take my money out of escrow and pay my taxes. I have a record of all of my phone calls. My assigned casemanager XXXX has not returned my calls and I keep being told she's working on it with no answers as to when they will be paid. I just called again and was given the same run around, that I will hear from her soon and she is working on it.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020 I began an application for a mortgage refinance with XXXX XXXX of PHH Mortgage Co. In order to commit to the application I was required to pay {$750.00} up front for a home appraisal, which I did. By XX/XX/XXXX, the loan was conditionally approved and a loan processor was assigned, XXXX XXXX. The loan had a rate-lock good until XX/XX/2020. All documents that were requested by the loan processor were supplied in a timely manner. After XXXX months, and the expiration of the rate-lock, I received notification from PHH that the loan was being declined. No reason was given other than " unacceptable property ''. I have made numerous requests by email and phone calls to XXXX XXXX requesting a refund of the appraisal fee, since we had complied with every request to close the loan on time. So far the only reply has been to make an untrue statement about a subordinated lien on the property, which had been cleared by the title company weeks earlier. I feel that my expense for the appraisal should be refunded since the loan was declined through no fault of my own.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as Trustee Under Pooling & Servicing Agreement bought my mortgage, which was sold to HomeQ, then Ocwen and then to PHH Mortgage. Ocwen Loan # XXXX, HomeQ Loan # XXXX, Property Address : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ). I obtained a HAMP modification with HomeQ Servicing on XX/XX/XXXX. At the time of my modification the new principal balance was {$200000.00}. When the loan was transferred to Ocwen they added deferred principal of {$83000.00} and extended the loan from 30 years to 44 years. Bottomline, since I have been paying on this loan ( XXXX to today - 14 years ), my principal balance is showing {$250000.00}, when the original loan amount was {$270000.00}. This means that with 168 payments ( over 14 years ) of approximately {$1200.00} ( each month ) = {$210000.00} paid, PHH Mortgage is saying I only paid down {$22000.00} from the principal. This does not make any sense. I need to see the entire amortization schedules from the onset of this loan. Please help me investigate this. Thank you. XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX
