Consumer Complaint: We are filing a complaint with ocwen for failing to rectify and correct wrongful overcharges from prior lender ( Saxon ) and for ocwen wrongful cost in modification. We seen were CFPB brought suit against ocwen XXXX, XXXX for failing to investigate errors in escrow and excessive fees charged. Immediately when our loan transferred to ocwen XXXX, XXXX we filed a complaint with CFPB XXXX complaint XXXX XXXX are just a few each one with the same issues. Ocwen in XXXX when we modified added the escrow overcharge to deferred principal knowingly that the XXXX modification was incorrect by XXXX overcharge of escrow. We have been charged 80 months accrued interest now since the XXXX modification. The XXXX ocwen modification ( letter dated XXXX XXXX that you have in your file also shows wrongful charges. They only credited XXXX trial payment of XXXX instead of 3 which they failed to credit XXXX, they delayed modification from XXXX to XXXX classifying it as a step two which resulted in excessive legal fees, They placed positive escrow of XXXX into escrow application fund, we paid XXXX from payments to escrow, modification advanced XXXX and XXXX escrow was classified on payment history as a loan application. How could our escrow turn into negative XXXX XX/XX/XXXX? Ocwen failed to investigate and rectify all wrongful over charges, and failed to credit properly knowing first handed we were abused by both lenders being seniors on a fix income

Consumer Complaint: PHH Mortgage Service reported XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/2020 as late payments after receiving and accepting payments of {$280.00} each month none of which were late. Changes in escrow amounts taxes reflects a difference to {$310.00} which was later paid. PHH mortgage did not open a suspense account or notify their intended action as they were supposed to have done. I have written to them by email and called a number of times asking to have the late payments remove as I am trying to refinance my house they have refused saying it is not an error. PHH mortgage have displayed little or no concern to the harm they have done even during this covid situation where mortgage companies are asked not to report late payments they have no regards for consumers.

Consumer Complaint: This is 2nd complaint about the loan modification flag on my credit for the months XXXX and XXXX. The company responded that they made a mistake in XXXX. But has not corrected XXXX. I have not requested a loan modification. The company sent me a letter acknowledging their error for XXXX but has not sent a letter acknowledging the XX/XX/XXXX issue. The XXXX report is the same type as the XXXX and XXXX errors and is evident by way of their own written notice to me admitting the error they made the same error in XXXX and XXXX. Attached is the letter as well as the credit reporting for XXXX. In the letter they state they are reporting the loan u der a non governmental plan for XXXX, this is not correct. Please see the credit alert attachment clearly states " LOAN MODIFICATION " as of XX/XX/XXXX. PLEASE CORRECT YOUR ERROR AGAIN. These fraudulent reporting is negatively affecting my credit. What is my legal recourse? At what point does this become fraudulent!! At what point do their action become criminal. Please contact me with legal recourse I formation CFPB.

Consumer Complaint: I recently had my credit pulled in order to get a home loan and i was shocked to see 2 60 day late pays on my credit report from XXXX and XXXX of XXXX for an account that has been paid and closed since XXXX of XXXXIt was a manufactured home that i paid off and sold in XXXX. Its never been on my credit report until this year more then 7 years later. I have called the company and they can not locate my file anymore and have said that they never reported a late payment from the records. So I've tried to dispute it with the credit bureaus but it has not been removed. I've attached a copy of my credit report that shows it closed since XXXX and an email from the customer care company that said they can't find the records of my account. Please help me. I am also going to file a complaint against the credit bureaus for not removing this item from my credit report or looking into it even because if they had the lates would be removed from an account that is obviously closed. Please help me get this resolved.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for several loan modifications with PHH Mortgage beginning in XX/XX/XXXX. I was denied in XXXX of XXXX, reapplied & denied XX/XX/XXXX. I reapplied in XXXX of XXXX and was approved with the same loan amount that I previously defaulted on. PHH inflated my income so that my payment could remain the same and it is documented on the paperwork I received from them. The interest rate also did not change. When I spoke with the relationship manager after the approval, he advised the first payment was due on XX/XX/XXXX. The three month trial agreement letter was due on XXXX XXXX. I made the first trial payment and emailed the agreement on the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX. It wasn't until I went to make the XXXX payment that I found out that my modification was cancelled because I did not return the trail agreement letter on the XX/XX/XXXX. I made several calls to PHH to make the XXXX payment and spoke to several representatives before one told me the reason why I could not make the payment. PHH did not send me anything in writing regarding the cancellation. I also reached out to the relationship manager directly and asked if he could assist with getting it reversed since a payment was made and he advised the underwriters would not reconsider. I asked for the denial letter and that is when I read it and the approval from XXXX which says they inflated my income so I could afford the payment on their terms. I am no longer able to reach the Relationship Manager directly because the option to dial an extension is no longer given. On XXXX XXXX I applied for another modification. I submitted all necessary documents and had to resubmit tax documents three times because PHH claims they could not see the documents. The third set of tax documents was just sent on XX/XX/XXXX. This experience has been extremely drained, stressful, and has me feeling hopeless dealing with this company, especially with what is going on in the world today. I do feel as though their intention has been to help me. It is always a hassle to get information when I call and quite often I don't get valid information. I've also put a complaint in with HUD regarding this matter for assistance as well.

Consumer Complaint: 1-The morgtage company ( PPH ) is still expoiting me. 2-They are now United with home insurance company XX/XX/XXXX to charge me extra. 3-When I bought the property I have to change, find, and buy the home insurance which lasts for two months. 4-when finally I bought the insurance the insurance company did not summit to the mortgage ( PPH ) company on time as it supposed to do until the next pay cicle or one year. 5-So the mortgage company charging me a penalty of {$87.00} dollars for that two months until now. 6-In XXXX I got a letter from PPH stating that I do not have home insurance that I bought from XX/XX/XXXXtwo month after I bought the property. 7-I called my home insurance company and told them about the issue. 8-The clerk told me she will call the pph to figure out. 9-Then she called me back saying that insurance company has not submitted my insurance to pph on time. 10-she told me I have to pay her {$95.00} dollars to fix it and told me the mortgage company will refund me the extra money they are charging me all the year. 11-I waited and waited the refund she promised me.Finally I called her to check about the refund she told me from pph. 12-in the mean time I received a letter from pph stating that there is a deficit in my escrow of $ XXXX. 13-I called the lady of travelers and told her about the letter. 14-she seemd has been surprised and told me I was supposed to get refund from pph of one year extra charge they were charging me, instead. 15-to me or to other sane people feel as a coordinated exploitation of a consumer. 16-I am just saying no Mortgage and insurance company XX/XX/XXXX.I am not saying not to pay state taxes.
