Consumer Complaint: I disputed fraudulent student loans that are reporting on my credit reports on XX/XX/2023 and they have failed to remove the inaccurate information. I sent them copies of the police report and the FTC Identity Theft Report. The items are still on my report and there are about 10 of them. I did not take out these loans and did not attend the schools they are associated with. The credit bureaus have refused to block the information reporting on my report.

Consumer Complaint: My account has been passed to for several months. I have tried effortlessly to submit an application to Nelnet from once now they have my application on file and my tax forms for over a month and they have not started the application. I have tried to call them several times And I can never get a hold of anybody today on XX/XX/2023. I attempted to call again I sat on hold for over two hours and nobody ever pick up the phone. The guarantor has called me and told me if I do not get my account Current, they are going to record the account and place it into default, I told them my issues with the service are no net net and asked if they could please contact the service her buyers to start the application. They said they have no way to contact the servicer and that I needed to continue to keep calling them are stressed that I have been calling them and they do not pick up the phone. This is a complete failure by the guarantor and the servicer, and I am the victim because my credit reports have taken a massive hit due to the complete failure to respond to me as a consumer.

Consumer Complaint: SAVE XXXX XXXX XXXX is incorrectly calculated and now I am in administrative forbearance. My monthly payments under the XXXX XXXX were estimated to be nearly {$150.00} less than the current estimates shown. When I called my servicer, they noted that the calculation was not using my XXXX from my last tax return. I submitted a request to recalculate, and have yet to receive any confirmation. I have been placed on administrative forbearance, but this does not stop interest from accruing. Additionally, I am planning to apply for forgiveness through XXXX, and received word that the months under forbearance would not qualify as eligible payments for XXXX, further delaying my loan forgiveness.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 I submitted an application to Nelnet for the SAVE income driven repayment plan. My application has been listed as completed on the federal atudent aid website for months, almost immediately after the application was submitted, but the Nelnet website said it was still processing. I never once received an email or a letter or any type of communication detailing what else I needed to provide. A few weeks ago I read on XXXX that proof of income XXXX need to be submitted so I did that and then the date of my application on Nelnet changed to saying that my application had been submitted on XX/XX/23. I logged in today and it said that my application was pending payment and I needed to check a recent letter or email to see the details of that payment. I have received NO letter or email from Nelnet during this entire process and I still have no communication regarding the status of my SAVE application.

Consumer Complaint: Nelnet indicated that my payment was past due ( XX/XX/XXXX ), even though I have auto payments set up. Fearing that I missed a payment and then would retain my auto-payment discount they offered I proceeded to submit a manual payment ( XX/XX/XXXX ). I called them the next day ( XX/XX/XXXX ) ; they explained that they had an issue with auto-payment, but that it would backdate once the payment went through. I requested they then delete my manual payment. They confirmed they would. The payment still went through. I called again XX/XX/XXXX and they told me they could not do anything and when they transferred me they hung up.

Consumer Complaint: Nelnet has violated Federal laws concerning the use of private information. Nelnet is obligated by the FDCPA to report accurate accounting, consumer has been attempting to resolve an issue by requesting Nelnet to provide documentation used to determine that all disputed loan accounts were verified, consumer is not asking for a statement. If Nelnet isn't able to provide said items, loan accounts must be removed immediately. Said Company is liable under the SEC to follow certain rules. I will be filing form 211 treasury omb forms to audit consumer accounts. Consumer is requesting how it was verified and who verified them info on what language is being used and an updated presentment communicating in a living language NELNET is securitizing consumer data yet refusing to provide an updated presentment of debt verification and how they are a party to the debt and how is it owed to them also an updated presentment is not written in legalese as this is fictional language. Nelnet you are interfering with commerce and that is a Federal Crime Nelnet COMMISSION FILE NUMBER XXXX IRS XXXX

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, I would like to document a recurring issue I am having with my student loan servicer NELNET. I graduated in XXXX with the total original amount awarded {$150000.00} and to date {$140000.00} Paid Off. Yet my current balance remaining/owed is {$38000.00}. In the original payment plan that I applied for when I entered the graduate XXXX XXXX at the age of XXXX XXXX XXXX, my understanding is that I would have a total of 10 years or 120 payments. And there was no clear explanation that interest on my loans would be capitalized ( compound interest vs simple interest ). On several occasions over the years I have reached out to NELNET regarding different payment amount ( s ) due. One recent example is on XX/XX/XXXX my amount due was {$330.00}, then on XX/XX/XXXX my amount due was {$310.00}, and as of today 's date XX/XX/XXXX my amount due is {$530.00}. The mass fluctuations appear to be intentional and misleading in nature, an attempt on behalf of NELNET to practice predatory lending and provide misinformation. The offices at NELNET have taken over 45 days to process an income driven payment application ( submitted on XX/XX/XXXX and as of today 's date XX/XX/XXXX it is still processing ). This timeframe is not reasonable. Of note, I even have an IDR application dated XX/XX/XXXX that is still " in review '' which makes zero sense. Additionally, as per the federal department of education, payments were supposed to be readjusted by NELNET in a recount for borrowers. However NELNET has yet to inform me of what my readjusted payment count is, despite my previous complaint. I hope this can be resolved not only for me but for many student loan borrowers who have been misled and misinformed for too long.
