Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/20, I received the attached e-mail from Nelnet informing me of the forbearance on student loan payments and providing options to continue to make payments during this forbearance period. I sent an e-mail that very same day, as directed in the e-mail, requesting to continue to make loan payments at 0 % interest during the forbearance period ( please see all attachments evidencing the e-mail was sent ). The payments were never taken as directed. It appears that Nelnet was not and is still is not prepared to service its vulnerable customers during this pandemic. I was specifically harmed by Nelnet 's lack of action as I was unable to take advantage of continuing to make my payments at the 0.00 % interest rates. Further, I am still uncertain as to how this issue will affect my ability to have my remaining balance waived after 25 years of continuous payments.

Consumer Complaint: I have reached out numerous times pertaining to my issue dealing with reporting inaccurate information on my credit report. I am now going to provide you with the list of violations you have committed against me as the " CONSUMER '' and the " ORIGINAL CREDITOR ''. Far too long I have allowed you to violate me due to my lack of knowledge. For starters you are in direct violation of FCRA 15 USC 1681e ( b ) my reports are supposed to be 100 % accurate not 99 %! Now we can now address 15 USC 1681 b ( a ) ( 2 ) which states that I have to give you written permission to furnish anything on " MY CREDIT REPORT '' in which I have not. You are also in violation of 15 USC 1681i. I have attached your response below when I asked you to investigate, you said you were not required to reinvestigate this item in which that is false. If you did reinvestigate this information you would see that the payment status is incorrect across several accounts XXXX images attached below ). Now if all of those violations are not enough for grounds of removal look very close and pay attention as I will now go into depth with you so follow close and learn!!!! FCRA 1681a ( 2 ) ( b ) under the exclusions section states that " any authorization or approval of a specific extension of credit directly or indirectly by the issuer of a credit card or similar device : if you look at the definition of a credit card under 15 USC 1602 it states that it is " ANY card, PLATE, coupon, book or other credit device existing for the purpose of obtaining money, property, labor, SERVICES, on credit ''. If you don't remove these accounts you are civilly liable for reporting these inaccurate accounts. I will be sending this to you as well via priority mail. I look forward to your response. Lol

Consumer Complaint: As of today I have received endless emails regarding my student loans and repayment even though there is a moratorium on Student Loans until the end of XXXX. Today 's email stated I was past due and the company has placed my student loans back on my credit report impacting how many accounts I have. They have failed to send documents I needed through the mail to show my name change and proceed with reducing my monthly payment and when I did call I got told I had to complete paperwork with the federal government. They refuse to help or work with me directly. The debt with them does not reflect when I pull up my federal loans and this ongoing harassment is not going to be tolerated.

Nelnet responded by saying to file an identity theft report and is not resolving the issue of someone else student loan information on my credit report. Nelnet even responded that I am not in their system and that the information has someones else social security attached and not mine. so how can it be on my report? they need to remove it immediately as I do not have any student loans and the information is someone else 's social security number. this is a mistake on their end and I do not need to fill out a fraud form seeing how they are the ones who committed fraud by knowingly having a loan on my report with someone else 's social security number. they are not resolving the issues and ignoring my calls. the way they resolve the issue is not actually resolving any issue.

I REQUESTED copies of any papers to show I have agreed to pay such alleged debt and information on the identity of the original creditor. My letter was received and ignored by this company which is a direct violation of 15 USC 1692g My consumer rights have been violated and my rights to privacy have been violated as well. An this company continues to violate me to this day with false information reported to the credit bureaus negatively affecting my credit worthiness and ruining my reputation. which is a direct violation of 15 USC 1692d ( 1 ) and defamation of character. This company is aware of the all the violations against me and the remedies I demand to rectify their wrongdoing.

Consumer Complaint: I have sent numerous Email to Nelnet regarding inaccurate reporting of a late payment, my loans was transferred over to Nelnet in XXXX of XXXX, On XXXX I called Nelnet to advise them that due to covid -19 and I'm on umemployment that I can not make payment, the representative put me on a a unemployment deferment. ON XXXX I received a notification that I have a 90 days late payment on my credit that is impossible because I was under the unemployment deferment, I wrote them a letter and also sent them proof of my phone records that I spoke to them on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX they stated that they dont have any records noted on my account. This is unfair and unlawful against my consumer rights to make me pay for someone else negligence for not noted the account. I have attached my receipts along. Consumer Complaint: I've been disputing fraud accounts on my credit report since XX/XX/2020. I keep sending multiple sets of letters to the bureaus and the creditors so the excuse of " we didn't get it '' doesn't happen. Furthermore, each letter is certified mail with tracking and each letter shows signed and delivered and yet the bureaus are still not taking any actions. The accounts are not showing in dispute nor are they removed from my report. The accounts always show up with different name variations and different account number variations and yet the bureaus seem to ignore the trend and let these fraud accounts affect my credit score. I have requested the investigation to be initiated and also verifiable proof to be submitted should the account claim to be mine. Not only have I not received any mail showing the verifiable proofs needed to justify the accounts to be on my report, I haven't even received any letters at all stating the investigations have begun. Per the FCRA and federal law, the process is supposed to be 30 days. 250 days later, I'm still here shelling out money for certified mail with no end in sight and no results to show. This is my last option before I take this up with my lawyers and sue for full compensations and damages incurred. Finally, it seems that when these complaints are submitted, the bureaus are using the excuse that they " can't confirm my identity '' to get away with taking no actions on my credit report. Please investigate this as well.
