Consumer Complaint: Firstmark Services has blocked my phone number and will not respond to my emails after asking for a settlement. I called them 32 times where they hung up on me every time. I found out today that they blocked both my e-mail address and phone number. I have no way of getting in contact with them and don't know how to proceed with the settlement offer or even how to pay them. I would like to be able to call them to talk about my settlement.

Consumer Complaint: The Department of Education/Nelnet is reporting that I was 90 days late in XX/XX/2020. All other history shows on time. This is logically impossible that I could be current in XX/XX/2020 and then all of a sudden be 90 days late.

Consumer Complaint: I tried disputing a fraudulent account not just opened up by someone else but also reporting incorrect information. According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ), you are required by federal law to verify, through the physical verification of the original signed consumer contract, any and all accounts that you post on a credit report. Otherwise anyone paying for your reporting services could fax, mail or email in a fraudulent account. To get technical, re-aging is an illegal act due to FCRA Section 623 ( 5 ) ( A ). This law states : In general. A person who furnishes information to a consumer reporting agency regarding a delinquent account being placed for collection, charged to profit or loss, or subjected to any similar action shall, not later than 90 days after furnishing the information, notify the agency of the date of delinquency on the account, which shall be the month and year of the commencement of the delinquency on the account that immediately preceded the action.

Subissue: Trouble with how payments are being handled
Consumer Complaint: Can not determine if the loan is federal or private because its a scam. Receiving constant fraudulent mailers seeking to collect a non-existent loan. Alleges I co-signed a loan for a fictional XXXX XXXX XXXX. The mailer lists my name as XXXX XXXX XXXX, which is not my correct middle initial or last name. Never heard of this person who probably doesnt exist. Tried calling the telephone number provided on all the fraudulent mailers and it just goes to a disconnected line. Either XXXX is a fraudster, incompetent, or someone is running a scam in their name. Either way, this is nonsense and these harassing fraudulent mailers need to stop.

Consumer Complaint: Regards, This letter is addressed to a complaint to the loan company Nelnet which I have XXXX loans. This company has been charging me interest since 2021, after Biden imposed the Waiver for student loans. When I contacted Nelnet they informed me that I had to pay the interest because my loans did not qualify for the Biden waiver, it was very strange because it was the only one that charged me interest. Today it is the only one that requires me to pay my loans monthly and accrues interest. I make this complaint to have my account audited because they are violating a tax waiver. In addition, this violation is one of the things that affects many students since it makes the debt unpayable because the interest is compounded and cumulative, how many students should have an accumulation of additional debt due to this situation. Loan : XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX : Principal Balance : {$3900.00} XXXX XXXX XXXX Principal Balance : {$1500.00} XXXX XXXX : Principal Balance : {$12000.00} XXXX XXXX XXXX Principal Balance : {$6300.00}

Consumer Complaint: Nelnet no longer services my student loans and that is reflected on my account information on their website, but the credit bureaus keep reporting it even though I've disputed it several times. The new government student loan servicer is XXXX with a total debt of {$140000.00}. The old Nelnet account is part of this. They need to remove the {$63000.00} Nelnet account. I have documents from my Nelnet account to prove this. The credit bureaus should be able to access this information.
