Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX or so I contacted the collections department to see if they would waive the last payment of the loan. The person in collections had to transfer me to a different department I think it was settlements, I don't recall. I made a comment that I will have to make the payment whenever I have it and disconnected the call. I has this loan for 72 months NEVER had a payment reported late, amazingly after disconnecting the call, I get a hit to my credit for late payment. I did not see this on credit until after I paid the vehicle off which was actually the NEXT day after speaking to the gentleman. That late payment brought my score down XXXX points.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: I submitted a dispute transaction with my bank about a purchase of {$600.00} with XXXX XXXX XXXX. The goods were delivered to the wrong account. Despite my documentation, Navy Federal denied my dispute. I requested all the documentation from the merchant. Navy Federal sent me the documentation. The documentation clearly shows that my order was sent to a different account. Moreover, I sent them a screenshot and report of my account showing no trace of the transaction. I asked Navy Federal to reopen my dispute and reinvestigate it. They refused which is against the Federal Law ( Fair Credit Billing Act, FCBA ). I have proved by good faith and Navy Federal replied to me in bad faith. Moreover, they said in the letter they sent that they are going " to continue to attempt to recover the funds through XXXX XXXX pre-arbitration phase of the dispute resolution process ''. However, they immediately reposted the transaction on my account which represents a second violation of the FCBA. I am requesting from Navy Federal to reopen my dispute transaction and to treat it fairly. They have all my documentation showing that the transaction was sent to another account and they also received from the merchant the transaction tracking showing that another account received the money.
