Consumer Complaint: Hello, Good morning, my name is XXXX XXXX and I have a credit card with navy federal for about 2 years now. In 2021 is all when the fraud started with this card. We have asked the company repeatedly to not share our card number or send it virtual in an email is it can be compromised. Of course they did do this and the card was used in XXXX and XXXX. My husband and I are showing almost XXXX of debt on there for 80 % of charges we did not complete we have tried to look at everything and go purchase by purchase but it is too difficult to identify which purchases we made vs. Fraud. We are seeking at this point a settlement amount and the account closed. This is not fair to us as the customers to have over 10 fraud obstacles. We have been beyond frustrated and exhausted all energy. But with a XXXX XXXX paying off for what others have used we will not be doing that. We have not disputed this or reporting most because as stated above we have no clue what some of these charges are. We have charges for overseas prices. This should be caught in the first place. As stated above we are seeking a payoff amount so this does not go to our credit for our future house but we will not be paying this unless there is an agreed amount.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX reached out for a payment on account we arranged to have {$160.00} to be debited. XXXX XXXX then took {$2200.00} on XXXX and I was sent a receipt showing what was authorized. Also during the conversation I advised them that the {$160.00} was a one-time payment and to not store my banking information. I contacted XXXX XXXX to have funds refunded and contact bank to dispute. Per banking representative I was not able to dispute transaction until it posted. After transaction {$2200.00} was posted I file a dispute with bank and I have not received a resolution yet. XXXX XXXX then as of XXXX debited {$160.00}. I contacted XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX. Both companies pointed blame at each other. XXXX XXXX has caused hardships because of their actions for both my wife and I.

Consumer Complaint: Navy Federal Credit Union, without notice to its customers, ceased crediting accounts with deposits from check under XXXX XXXX dollars. Furthermore, they have delayed deposits more than one processing day as per their agreement. I have also found that they do not reverse or seek to assist customers with debits that are in error. Most recently, NFCU allowed for a canceled set of payments to disrupt my bank draft that has been processing for more than two days.

Consumer Complaint: I used my Navy Federal credit card while traveling out of the country at the airport in XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and returned on XX/XX/XXXX. Upon my return I found the following charges on my credit card. XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX I proceeded to call Navy Federal Credit Union to file a fraud claim about the charges on my account and I was told to destroy the card and another card was sent to me. I waited a few months and called back in XXXX since the charges were still showing on my account. I was then told by the representative that the first agent I spoke to on the phone forgot/failed to file a claim in XXXX. She proceeded to file a claim and then told me that the charges would be removed including the interest and late payment charges. The charges were removed only to later show up with a letter stating that they have evidence that it might have been me. I asked for the evidence and they refused to provide it to me. I then sent a PDF of my itinerary showing that I was out of the country and also provided an incident report from the police department in my city. They later denied the review stating that they were authorized over the phone but refused to provide the phone number used for the phone authorization. I asked for a new investigation since they failed to file a claim and follow up on the fraudulent charges for months but they told me I have to go to court and get a subpoena to get report from each merchant involved in this case. I am absolutely devastated as this charges are currently affecting my credit score thereby affecting my business and finances. I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter. XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I am FURIOUS that I have received a communication that Navy Federal Credit Union intend to pay XXXX XXXX {$190.00} for something which I do not owe. I had already asked them not to let the charge go through and they informed me that I should let the charge go forward and then dispute the charge. Navy Federal took no action but did provide me with a limited window of time to submit evidence - AND THEN THE CLOSED THE WINDOW BEFORE THE DEADLINE PASSED, THEREBY PREJUDICING ME WHEN THEY DETERMINED THAT I WAS AT FAULT. I request a refund of the amount that I was charged due to Navy Federal Credit Union 's misleading me and encouraging me to let time pass by to my detriment.

Consumer Complaint: Navy federal did not notify me that my account was past due before submitting a negative report of late payments on my credit account. When I received their collection letter, I immediately paid the account in full. When I spoke with their staff, they initially said they did not submit any late payment report but when I checked my credit score it had dropped drastically and it was due to their late payment report. Three different people advised that an advanced payment specialist could remove the negative report from my credit report but when I spoke with credit card supervisor she said that information was incorrect and their policy was not to remove it. They should remove it and they should not be able to drop a person 's credit score so drastically and then tell you there's nothing they can do.

Consumer Complaint: My business was closed due to XXXX. All the information on my credit file after the purchase of my home in XXXX of XXXX is false. My information was compromised in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Someone used my info to try to purchase vehicles to open credit cards and many other things. I have reported identity theft to XXXX three times over the last couple years. I was unable to get XXXX XXXX XXXX and the XXXX cited XXXX as the reason for my denial. I have not applied for credit of any kind since the purchase of my home in XX/XX/2019. Everything negative on my credit is due to XXXX. You can simply look at the graph of my information to see I went from excellent credit. XXXX when we purchased our home. This has devastated my family and XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX refused to put me on a deferral list I told the the XXXX XXXX states they are required to work XXXX XXXX XXXX. They started reporting negatively immediately after shelter in place orders were issued. I applied for XXXX and I got a message about suspected fraud and I couldnt reach anyone or get help I had XXXX in XXXX that in had to use because I couldnt get the assistance and XXXX was cited in every denial for relief assistance. To top it all off XXXX XXXX sued me after calling me everyday saying they were putting me on a XXXX deferral list and never actually doing it. They called everyday sometimes twice a day until my phone service was shut off due to non payment. I live in a brand new XXXX home with XXXX in equity that I couldnt get access to due to liens put on my home by XXXX XXXX XXXX after I couldnt pay the bill on the solar panals on my roof. My HOA place a lien on my house. The $ XXXX month was increased to $ XXXX month because they charged {$80.00} in penalties each month. I finally was able to get promising news after congressman XXXX XXXX office reached out the XXXX in XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX emailed me saying he was so sorry to read about my families situation and he offered a XXXX loan that we could add our personal expenses in with our business loan and it would be XXXX XXXX backed by the XXXX and they could help package the deal and account for the credit damage and hopefully get our life back. Navy fed told me they werent taking XXXX loans. I said this is the only way for me to restore my accounts and to get my life back. They said they were sorry. I went into my local XXXX XXXX XXXX. They told they couldnt help me. My account with them was closed out due to inactivity after shelter in place orders. I sat in the womans off trying gain my composure as I was unable to stop crying. She stared at her computer as I stood up and left the bank. I just sat in the parking lot and cried. The XXXX XXXX loan up to {$5.00} XXXX with a XXXX % XXXX backing. That was the only help offered after over a year since XXXX. We were desperate for help and when we finally were offered the banks said no. Then my electricity was shut off due to non payment a couple months ago. I went door to door asking if I could get assistance as the only help that Ive been able to get is XXXX XXXX from the government. My bill was {$210.00}. The following day I was able to pay the bill. The neighbor next to me said he couldnt help and then called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. We had power back on and I asked the them to help me as I have applied for all the programs and not gotten help. I am entitled to cares act funding and have been denied due to illegal reporting on my credit resulting me being denied XXXX loan. XXXX didnt help us with anything. XXXX came with the police and said they were taking our XXXX XXXX XXXX. I told them what was going on and the police said they werent going to assist XXXX with this case.
