Consumer Complaint: Navy Federal stated in their agreement that federal laws applied to the agreement. Under federal law 18 USC 894, it is illegal to collect on an extension of credit by extortionate means. They continue to extort money from me. Under 15 USC 1666D anytime a credit balance is of excess of {$1.00}, the creditor should credit the consumer account. These are federal laws that they should honor. They continue to use the United States Postal Service to run a scheme to obtain money thru false pretenses illegally, which is fraud and swindles under 18 USC 1341 and comes with imprisonment, a fine or both. They need to open me a new account and apply a {$15000.00} credit limit and credit the balance every month. These are federal laws that this agreements govern by, stated in the agreement itself. If Navy Federal chooses not to honor their agreement, and a Breach of Contract occurs, I demand all payments returned and the account removed from all credit reports.

Consumer Complaint: I have sent 4 letters to Management and The XXXX XXXX XXXX. Also to the President of Financial Services asking for removal of the late payments from my credit reports ; I believe under the CARES Act I am entitled to relief and these late payments should be removed. The bank refuses to acknowledge that the late payments were pandemic related late payments and will not make adjustments to my 3 credit bureau reports. Also The late payments are showing discrepancies on all 3 credit bureaus. By law,15 U.S.C. 1681 when there is inaccurate information on your credit report, the credit reporting agency is required to remove it. If the credit reporting agency fails to remove the incorrect information, then you can sue them for damages.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I noticed that there were 3 wire transfers out of my checking account to an unknown person named XXXX XXXX. With no knowledge of this person or any reason why money would be transferred out of my account, I immediately contacted Navy Federal 's customer service line, where representatives assisted me in filing a fraud claim over the phone, signing a fraud affidavit, contacting local law enforcement, and closing my compromised account. However, since XX/XX/XXXX, the only communication from Navy Federal has been the detail-less denial of my claim without any evidence or consideration. I have been repeatedly stonewalled by customer service representatives that do not who to refer me to, if anyone, where I seek information to properly get my money back. I have only received two communications -- one denying my claim without any context, and another denying my appeal without any context. Navy Federal Credit Union, its fraud team, and its customer service staff have been negligent in properly investigating the loss of my money in a fraudulent transfer, and have not helped whatsoever in the investigation by XXXX XXXX Police Department, nor forwarding any information that may assist me. Navy Federal Credit Union has all the information necessary to approve of my fraud claim and forward information to law enforcement in order to stop this fraudulent activity, and has clearly no respect for their customers. They have the banking information of my old bank account, including the time, date and account number of the fraudulent transfers, but I am getting detail-less denials that there was any wrongdoing.

Consumer Complaint: This is not the first complaint submitted. This is referring complaint number XXXX. Initial complain was submitted on XX/XX/XXXX : My father made me a check from his XXXX XXXX Account on the XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX and mailed it to me on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. The check accidentally arrived at the wrong address. The individual that received the check forged my name and sponsored it to his bank account. After confirmation with XXXX that the mail was delivered, my father tried to cancel the check but alas the deposit had already been processed to the individual 's account at Navy Federal Credit Union. A formal fraud complain was submitted to XXXX XXXX the XXXX XX/XX/XXXX to try to recover the funds. We were told that it might take up to 120 days for a response. It's been over a year and still no response. All XXXX XXXX have been able to tell us is that there is no response from Navy Federal Credit Union and there is nothing else they can do but wait for the bank 's response. The final response from Navy Federal Credit Union to me was on XX/XX/XXXX : Company 's Response The following references the complaint we received on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX member XXXX XXXX. The complaint was assigned a case number of XXXX. We have reviewed our members concerns. Our records show that on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, a check in the amount of {$80000.00} was deposited to a XXXX XXXX account. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, the funds in question were returned to the originating financial institution. XXXX XXXX XXXX will need to contact the issuer of the check for any further inquiries on this matter. If Petty XXXX XXXX has any further questions, he may contact XXXX XXXX, Vice President, XXXX XXXX, at XXXX, between the hours of XXXX a.m. and XXXX p.m., Eastern time, weekdays. But the above response was faulty. My father checked his account and the amount was never submitted during that time frame. Also the gentleman by the name of XXXX XXXX that I was to contact have never answered any of my calls or returned any of my voicemail messages.

Issue: Problem with a credit reporting company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Their investigation did not fix an error on your report
Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, I unlocked my credit file on XXXX to complete a credit card application with creditor Navy Federal Credit Union for my business account. I received an alert from XXXX on XXXX XXXX that I received a hard inquiry by Navy Federal Credit Union. However the Creditor ( Navy Federal Credit Union ) is saying that no one in their lending office saw the report. The creditor tried to attempt an additional unauthorized credit pull, and denied me indicating my credit report was locked. However, the report was open and unlocked until I received the alerted and check my credit report and saw a new Hard Inquiry from Navy Federal. In efforts to keep myself safe, locking and unlocking my credit file is important. There was no information listed on either XXXX or Navy Federal Credit Union on the time frame, policy and underwriting information on the problem I described above.
