Consumer Complaint: They have restricted my account due to check activity, however, the mistake was made by the institution and not myself and the institution has rectified the mistake and proceeded to send me a new check. However, until the Navy Federal Credit union completes its investigation I have a negative bank account. My finances have been on a complete hold due to this process that was supposed to take 15 business days, now being told it will take up to 60 days. 60 days with no money? My children are out of town and I mainly support their living expenses however they are not able to use these accounts because 1 all of their money was drawn from the account and fees were applied. I have been personally been treated as if I was a criminal and overheard staff members discussing my case while I was trying to resolve this in the branch in XXXX, GA. I have been out of travel expenses, wages, and personal pain and suffering from this whole ordeal without a since of empathy or care on how this could be altering my everyday living.

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account status incorrect
Consumer Complaint: Because I disputed an account with Navy Federal Credit Union, the company has taken adverse action against me, with forethought and malice, by furnishing inaccurate and knowingly false " late payments '' to my consumer report and closed my account without my lawful authority or notification. This adverse action as defined under 12 CFR 1002.2 ( c ) ( 1 ) has negatively affected my ability to extend credit and operate in commerce. Congress makes it clear that causing a restraint of trade or conspiring to cause a restraint of trade, pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1, is declared to be illegal to and carries both civil and criminal penalties. My right to privacy and my right to know where and how to direct the disclosure of my nonpublic information in accordance with 15 U.S. Code 6801 ( a ) of the Gramm-Leach Bliley Financial Protection Act, has been violated. I am aware that not excluding transactions between, I, the consumer, and the creditor is a violation of 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( 2 ) ( A ) C. The consumer reporting agencies were not exercising their grave responsibility in respect to impartiality when furnishing this false and misleading information to my consumer report. Reasonable procedures were not taken to insure the accuracy of the information given by Navy Federal before furnishing it. This shows that the consumer reporting agencies have shown bias towards me because I never gave my lawful authority for any consumer reporting agency or Navy Federal Credit Union to furnish any " late payments '' to my consumer report. It is my belief that due to Navy Federal Credit Union business relationship with the consumer reporting agencies, ( such as XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ), they parrot any information given to them as a means of coercing consumers to pay extra fees for debts that they allegedly owe.

Consumer Complaint: Today XX/XX/XXXX XXXX is still investigating, while XXXX is still allowing the Navy Federal Credit Union to post the amount of a loan to be on the credit report which should be off my account due to the 7 year limitation statue from XXXX. I located information of the XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) who have contacted me about a breach and I was one of the thousands who account was breached. Plus medical information showing that I was unable to work and could not have made payments but was documented on the credit bureaus history I have made ( was fraudulent ) in order to keep the account open and to not allow the 7 year statue not be recognized and the negative account removed the charge off ). Along with XXXX as well, thereby keeping my score, overall low. For what ever reason my account has been in this state, and even when I call to verify I do not get anything corrected. I now am an authorized user to someone else credit card and in good standing and given another credit card with no balance with a different credit card number, yet they are putting the authorized primary account holder information on my credit, but instead of it boosting my credit score, which it should, they are NOT allowing it to do so?
