Consumer Complaint: I am in a FEMA declared disaster area from Hurricane Irma. I am currently on a disaster relief plan with my mortgage company, Mr. Cooper at which time they are to suppress credit reporting and they have not done so. They reported my account delinquent. I would like this corrected and insured it will not happen the next two months.

Consumer Complaint: I have verified all three of our trial payments were made and cleared. However, we are unsatisfied with the new payment ( {$1400.00} ) and will refuse the new terms because they include money ( {$880.00} P & I ) for escrow ; ( {$600.00} ) that is not required at this time. My taxes are under a XXXX exemption, therefore payments for taxes were returned. A representative of Nationstar/Mr. Cooper stated that it is not the responsibility of the mortgage company to question why the taxing authority keeps returning payments. In the meantime I have sent proof of my exemption numerous times over the past several years, just to be told that we have then they do not have it. This information is being sent to the CFPB for response and relief.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX/XXXX/17 I submitted a workout package to be review for a modification loan. I received a letter from my lender ( NationStar Mortgage ) advising I was denied because they could not set me with an affordable payment. In the letter is does not state if my income was high or low, when I submitted with workout package I never received a letter stating they received my documents and that the file was in review or any document pertaining to my modification. A few days ago I received the denial letter, I 'm not happy with the outcome because they are not specifying why I did not qualify. I called today the lender and the representative told me that they reviewed me for a Flex Modification but I did not qualify because they could not give me an affordable payment. I asked her if they do the review in base of my income and she said NO, so how do they get to the conclusion I did not qualify. I asked her to explain and she was not able to give a reasonable explanation. I am demanding a real explanation, not just I did not qualify

Consumer Complaint: Dear CFPB - As of XXXX/XXXX/2017 my fixed rate home loan which is being Serviced by Mr. Cooper of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX TX XXXX is transferring my loan to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. This was done without notice before the transfer and upon calling the customer service center the agent refused to offer any help and tried to push a refinance. After being told multiple times that I had no interest in refinance, the agent continued to push that option, which was unacceptable. ( Agent ID - XXXX XXXX ) Consumers should be given a choice in who is servicing their home loans, specifically, we should be able to NOT chose to do business with a company such as XXXX XXXX, especially given the fact that company has been called to testify in front of congress for illegal business practices.

Consumer Complaint: My home mortgage was with XXXX XXXX. XXXX sold it to Nationstar/Mr Cooper ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX, XXXX ) and starting XX/XX/XXXX ( Ref. loan # XXXX ), I have been paying Nationstar. So far I have not missed a singly monthly mortgage payment of {$1800.00} since I owned my home in XX/XX/XXXX. I got into financial difficulties and found it difficult to pay the county tax in XX/XX/XXXX and I contacted the county office. Their advice to me was that, the county does not take action unless I fail to pay for 5 years and I should be more concerned about paying my mortgage payments regularly. I did not pay county tax due XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX.. For reasons not made clear to me, Nationstar decided to pay the county dues of XXXX and to that added my next year dues and mailed me a monthly payment requirement of {$5200.00} starting XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted my lawyer for help and he advised that the dues to the county are far too small to justify legal counsel and I am better off trying to clear the payment to the county. I paid Nationstar my monthly dues and {$1800.00} in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX on time. Instead of applying it towards mortgage payment, they placed the payments in an unapplied funds account. I had applied for a loan adjustment. I tried calling them repeatedly and send them emails listing my intent not to proceed with the loan modification and that I will pay the {$10000.00} to Nationstar and future property tax due to the county directly. I paid Nationstar {$10000.00} on the XX/XX/XXXX followed by an email and voicemail detailing on how I expect the payments to be applied. Today when I logged on to their website, I see that they have applied all my payments towards 2 monthly payments of {$5200.00} ( for XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX ) and the rest {$3500.00} as Additional Principal. How can a person with financial trouble make additional principal payments. The behavior of Nationstar/Mr. Cooper appears to be predatory and deliberate to force me and my family to be rendered homeless. I suspect the reason for this is due to the fact that my home equity is more than double the loan amount owed. Please help me resolve the issue.

Consumer Complaint: I was 6-8 payments behind 2 years ago, they offered a forbearance plan and told me not to pay until I received the final paperwork. They never sent it, the next notice I received was for foreclosure. So I ended up filing chapter XXXX bankruptcy so I could keep my home. Now 11 months and a divorce later and I am only 2 payments behind on the mortgage with the money to make the missed payments in my account, but they have filed a motion to remove the stay on the foreclosure. I am very angry and frustrated by this. They do n't want my payments they just want my home. Please help me, me and my family have no where else to go.

Consumer Complaint: I have been trying to get a loan modification, and have been denied, my last day to appeal the latest denied loan modification was XX/XX/XXXX. My home has a sale date of XX/XX/XXXX. I just got the CFPB 45 Day Solicitation Letters uploaded to my account on XX/XX/XXXX!? I called the mortgage company that was formerly Nationstar, now MR. Cooper, and asked them why am I receiving them 8 days before my home is sold? The loss mitigation department said that is fine to do..I told them it looks like I should have gotten that 45 days ago. If I had received the letter from them I may have been able to do a deed in lieu or other arrangement that they talk about on the letter, in order to save my credit moving forward. Now it feels too late to do anything, and they are forcing me into having a foreclosure or bankruptcy on my credit..which is horrible since I run a small business that I have to personally guarantee finically. This will make everything more expensive for me, for a long time. I want to stop the sale and avoid foreclosure ASAP.
