Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I called Mr. Cooper and spoke to a representative in the collection/loss mitigation department and made payment arrangements to pay my past due. He told me to pay 2 pays and rest would be divided into 4 payments, I asked him how I should pay, he said to wait until I get a letter of confirmation of the arrangement and go online and make payment, he said wait around 10 days. So I waited, and didn't receive anything in the mail, so I tried to make a payment online but it would not take it. I called on XX/XX/XXXX, Mr. Cooper office was closed, then I called on XXXX and was told I didn't have a payment plan and that my house is in foreclosure, the plan was not approved and it was denied, I asked to speak with a supervisor, so someone by the name of XXXX XXXX at the Loss Mitigation department manager called me, I explained the situation, also advise him I didn't get a call nor a letter stating that my payment plan was not approved, he agreed with what I said and said he will review the file and get back to me and even maybe he can put the plan back on the system and let me do it that way. He gave me his number and said he will call me back in 24 hours. Well a day passed and I didn't get a call and I called him and left detailed message, still didn't get call back, called again the next day, I left 3 message so far and no one has returned my call nor I have received anything in writing.

Consumer Complaint: Today, I made a lump sum payment of ( {$8400.00} ) after declining Nationstar ( Mr. Cooper 's ) loan modification based on the new terms and conditions. Last year shortly after XX/XX/XXXX Mr. Cooper allowed and advised me that I could skip up to 6 payments when Hurricane Irma made landfall causing a hardship on thousands, including my household. I contacted Mr. Cooper several times to clarify the terms and conditions since they refuse to put the verbal terms in writing. Instead, after the disaster forbearance period, I was advised that ALL past due payments were due on demand, and WILL NOT be tagged on the backend of the loan, as I was advised by 3 previous reps. It was evident, the reps struggled with the backlash of the confusion Mr. Cooper 's attempt to foreclose on thousands. Instead of admitting the breach impacting thousands of mortgage holders. Since I could not afford to pay the full lump sum, I requested a forbearance payment plan after the partial payment was applied. Ironically, Mr. Cooper, a servicing debt collector only allow me to repay the past due balanced over a period of 6 months ( {$4900.00} ) EST. I became concerned again when each lump payment was posted and reversed. Since Mr. Cooper serves as a debit collection agency, no one could explain why the payments are posted, and later reversed. While, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau can not control the bad customer service widespread throughout the industry. Please be aware, Mr. Cooper does have its fair share. Unfortunately, I do not trust Mr. Cooper payment process. Especially, after Mr. Cooper applied the $ XXXX to my rate modification back in XX/XX/XXXX instead of forwarding the balance since the last payment, and reinstating the loan. I still stand firm that I was penalized for the missed payments that reflected in the balance forwarded. At this point, I can no longer sit idle and witness this debt servicing agency cloud the industry with bad tactics. Please help me to understand Mr. Cooper 's applied payment and reverse methods. Seriously, concerned if all of my payments have been applied to date. Thank you,

Consumer Complaint: I am missing the following payments regarding my VA mortgage loan as well attaching screenshot regarding XXXX once again has inaccurate information that my property has recently been in a natural disaster within the past week. I have again contacted FEMA and my homeowner 's insurance company in which they stated should not have been submitted because this is false information. They are now as well both involved since this continues showing up by the person behind the computer screen at your company intentionally adding this after each CFPB complaint that I file. The following months are missing on my credit report in which I have the signed and cash checks by your company : XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX. I was told via tape conversations you may want to pull through your company that after forbearance. All payments would be submitted that are missing for the year XXXX. You now tell me that if you submit the payments you will mark them as late however I was not told they will be marked as late since XXXX XXXX misguided me at the beginning of this entire process. How am I to do as Mr XXXX stated refinance my home when my personal bank XXXX XXXX needs to show that my credit report matches the payment history you submitted to me via email late last week there are missing payments 13 as of today with the credit bureaus. On one bureau report there are payments that were being reported during the forbearance. Yet on another Bureau report there are not. Regardless natural disaster is a false report an allegation that needs to be removed immediately off of XXXX and any other Bureau at the person behind the computer screen submitted the report. I also need missing payments reported and I'm not talkin late payments because I have been miss guided through this entire process while your representative Mr. XXXX almost 18 months ago. Consumer Complaint: My parents have an assumable loan through Mr.Cooper formally known as Nationstar. We started the assumption process in XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX my parents requestion the assumption packet from Mr. Cooper to start the process. They didnt receive it until 4 months later. That was after my parents called Mr. Cooper multiple times to send them the information. After my parents received the assumption packet my husband and I became involved. We sent them all our information ( copies of our social security cards, bank statements, paystubs, etc. ), and we did an application for a loan assumption. We are in XXXX now, and Mr. Cooper is still asking for documentation. They have sent us 4 packets requestion documentation, and a lot of it is repetitive information. They have asked 4 times now for 12 months of bank statement showing rental or mortgage payments. We sent it to them twice, and the third time, we sent them a letter stating that they should have it. They sent us another letter yesterday stating they needed it again because they lost it and had uploaded someone elses statmenta to our file. They also said they ran the wrong credit report for me, XXXX. They had my incorrect social and ran a credit report for someone else. They reran my credit without asking or allowing me to check the first report that they sent. They only had the incorrect social for myself, and they had the correct social for my husband but they ran the credit report again for both of us. They then proceeded to ask, after all of this, for another copy of our social security cards. They have sent us the same document 4 times To have us sign and return back to them. When I spoke to them on Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX, they could not give me an accurate status of our application because it had not gone to underwriting yet. XXXX XXXX ( the person assigned to our file at Mr. Cooper XXXX said they are still collecting all the documents to send it to underwriting. The process as a whole has been going on for almost 10 months now, and my husband and I sold our home to assume this property. Our credit score is XX/XX/XXXX+ and we only have student loan debt. We both have decent paying jobs that, and we have had no issue qualifying for any sort of loan in the past. The information they are asking for at this point is outrageous. An example is that they are asking for documentation of ownership of bank accounts for both myself and my husband. We are joint owner on all of our bank accounts and they need to see proof, even though we have sent them bank statements with both our names on it. They are also being negligent with the information and documention we have given them. They are losing documentation with our private information on it, and they can not explain why they dont have it. Im also concerned about the other files that have been affected in the past as well. Finally, it seems like they are pushing the process further and further out to just make us refiniance or just purchase the home rather than assuming the property. The are asking for closing costs and a down payment still, so they are making some money in this assumption, as well as all the interest that is being paid over the life of the loan. It seems purposeful and intentional to discourage he assumption of the loan. We want to remodel the home and we cant get a line of credit to do that because the loan is not in our name, and my parents can not start construction on their new home on a different property because they need to get this loan off their credit to qualify for another loan. Its holding up the process and Mr. Cooper will not tell us if we qualify for the loan, when we will close, and what they are doing with our information.
