Consumer Complaint: Nationstar Mortgage foreclosed on my house, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NV, XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I had multiple times requested Nationstar to provide proof that there was a valid and legal assignment of the Loan from XXXX, to XXXX XXXX XXXX, and from XXXX XXXX XXXX to Nationstar. The document that Nationstar provided, was a forged document, signed by " XXXX XXXX '', as Vice President of XXXX XXXX XXXX. I researched the name and found that XXXX XXXX is listed under fraud alert list of ROBO SIGNATURES. That fake assignment of the document is recorded at the assessor 's office, and that the document with which Nationstar Foreclosed on the house. I had hired an attorney, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to sue Nationstar and the attorney abandoned the case, and summary judgment was granted. That attorney was sanctioned by California BAR Association. The case was prior to foreclosure. After the case got dismissed, Nationstar set a sale date. Few months After the sale, I received a tax for from Mr. Cooper, suggesting some how I gained $ 100,000+ by losing my house. The loan was for {$360000.00}, there was a second loan on the property by XXXX, which Nationstar did not contact, because XXXX is still trying to collect from me. Also The house was sold on XX/XX/XXXX for {$460000.00}, and Nationstar has not paid me any XXXX from the sale, and has not sent me any documentations regarding the sale, or how funds from the sale were distributed. The only thing I received was the tax forms from Mr. Cooper for {$100000.00} gain. The house was again sold sometime in XX/XX/XXXX for {$420000.00}

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I made a call to Mr. Cooper about why my payment jumped {$36.00}, I was told it was because of a escrow shortage. I asked how I could bring my payment down and I was told if I paid {$170.00} ( the remaining amount of the shortage ) it would bring my payment down {$20.00}. I gave the go ahead on the payment with the understanding my new payment amount would be {$900.00}. Today ( XX/XX/XXXX ) I check and my payment is still at {$920.00}. I called Mr.Cooper to figure out what was going on, and was told that only a partially escrow shortage was paid. I asked how that could be when I was told it was all paid up in XX/XX/XXXX. The man that I was talking to repeated it was a shortage and that my payment of {$920.00} is not going to my escrow shortage 3 times then hung up on me right at XXXX ( CT ). I feel like I was taken advantage of and ripped off. I have never dealt with such a poor customer service department that refuses to help anyone.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX my mortgage was sold to Mr. Cooper mortgage advisers from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was told there would be no changes to my loan. I paid my statements in XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX. and XX/XX/XXXX. Same amount as XXXX XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I received a check for about {$1100.00} from Mr Cooper for overage of my escrow acct. I called and asked why, and they said they were unawhere that they were responsible for paying my property taxes. XXXX paid my taxes and Mr Cooper collected for them on the 1st 3 payments, so I called them. They said they would fix the problem. My next statement was {$250.00} less than usual, so I called again, at which point they said they would fix the problem. I sent the escrow money back to them and paid and extra {$250.00} on my payment. Then I received an escrow annalises showing a large shortage. Now they say they need to also collect for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX which I pay myself and always have. These have been paid for the year, by me already, so another phone call which fell on deft ears. They demand to pay them. I called again and asked for a supervisor who intern said she would fix everything and call me back. That was 3 weeks ago and no call. They want to raise my payment in XX/XX/XXXX from {$1100.00} to {$1300.00}. They refuse to listen to anyone and causing me a lot of stress

Consumer Complaint: I filed a complaint against Nationstar, Nationstar replied but did not address the issues. CFBP closed the complaint without allowing my rebuttal to Nationstar 's response, which is false. Nationstar needs to resolve the issue by addressing and rectifying their mistake : Nationstar failed to notify me of the escrow analysis, failed to notify me of the increase in my autodraft ( they drafted more than what was authorized ), they failed to allow payment of the escrow shortage, they failed to provide transcripts of the recorded conversation I had with two of their representatives onXX/XX/XXXX. XXXX stated the escrow analysis was mailed, which is impossible because I agreed to their electronic correspondence last year.

Consumer Complaint: Mr. Cooper is playing with my account again! I have had this problem with them every since their previous name was NationStar Mortgage. I never had this issue in 15 years before they took over my mortgage! My increased expenses paid out of escrow is only {$83.00} per year and Mr. Cooper is increasing my payments for escrow by {$1000.00} per year. Currently escrow has {$1000.00} in the escrow account but we will have 5 more escrow payments of {$220.00} ( XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX -- summing up the total of current escrow payments ) totaling {$1100.00} giving us a total in escrow of {$2100.00} at the time insurance a 1/2 year taxes are due. {$2200.00} will be due for taxes and insurance in XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX so we will have a shortfall of {$39.00}. The next payment due will be in XX/XX/XXXX for another half year of property taxes which will be {$900.00} but with no change to our current escrow amount due monthly we will have {$1300.00} at that time, a positive amount of {$460.00}. Mr. Cooper is attempting to increase my escrow amount by {$90.00} which is way too much. At this rate they would be charging {$3800.00} for escrow when taxes AND insurance only total {$3100.00}. * There was no increase for insurance ** Property tax only increase {$83.00} PER YEAR! This is a constant game they have been playing with me so rather than spending hours on the phone again I am going straight to you because they don't listen to me when I deal directly with them.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Nationstar c/o CFPB Nationstar Customer Relations Department c/o Mr. Cooper XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX TX XXXX RE : XXXX XXXX XXXX ( d/b/a ) XXXX XXXX XXXX NumberXXXX I request that the current foreclosure action be cancelled and the correct principal balance be corrected immediately. I strongly dispute the increase of the principal mortgage balance that was made on XX/XX/2014, when the principal balance was increased from {$710000.00} to {$920000.00} and eventually increased to {$990000.00}. The original principal balance and the original loan amount is {$670000.00}. The current principal balance is {$320000.00} more than the original loan amount. This is inaccurate and needs to be corrected. The current principal balance should reflect approximately {$670000.00}. We strongly believe that the Chapter XXXX protections that were in place during this period, protected, insulated and stayed any increase in the principal balance and loan amount. .. I request that this increase be reversed immediately and reflected in the modification documentations. Please complete a forensic audit on my mortgage account as soon as possible so the correct principal balance is calculated so I can submit the modification proposal, with the correct principal balance, to my financial team ; my Chapter XXXX attorney ; the Chapter XXXX bankruptcy trustee and court. Consumer Complaint: I have repeatedly made privacy elections and limited the types of solicitations my mortgage company, Mr Cooper, sends me. I have even submitted a complaint to CFPB about it. Mr. Cooper always does the same thing. They lie and claim " our system isn't showing you've opted-out of these communications '' - I opt-out and they say they've updated their records. Then a few months go by and again they start sending me solicitations and refinance offers. They do this by mail, and every single time I log into the website to make a mortgage payment. Screenshots of both are attached. These are predatory lending tactics. I am current on my loan. I have a good rate and an affordable monthly payment. However, since this isn't lucrative to the mortgage company they think it is appropriate to spam me with " offers to refi. '' If they are doing this to others, they may get people to refi their mortgages when there is really no need. They are preying on people, violating people 's privacy, and lying about honoring privacy opt-out requests.

Consumer Complaint: I found out this servicer NATIONSTART/MR COOPER doesn't have the legal standing to service the Deed of Trust Account, I said this because it occurred an illegal transaction between XXXX and Nationstar around XX/XX/XXXX Its my understanding XXXX and Nationstar in the capacity of Servicer cant do a Sale/Transfer on the account without the Approval of the investor XXXX XXXX. In the past I opened an inquire against both of them and now reviewing the principal amount balance it differs from the Amount originally I got it this deed of trust. Further more Nationstart used formal documentation to attest an untrue fact on the origin of the Loan as it shows in the Tax form " it shows XX/XX/XXXX '' which is not the true at all. It was several years before XX/XX/XXXX Also in the last monthly statement I received in the 2nd page it shows " Lender Expenses '' when They are not. I don't know where the money I paid its going They haven t showed me in what account of the Investor its going, also I consulted with the Investor XXXX XXXX for the Servicing Rights to Nationstar/ Mr. Cooper They said they don't have it, Then for I believe Nationstar has initiated an account based with my name to enrich themselves without following the Original Note I signed. Also its my understanding while an amount is been in dispute the creditor/debt collector shouldn't be asses any late payment other ways it should be in violations of my consumer rights under the FDCPA.

Consumer Complaint: I have been sent letters of demand to pay a mortgage to XXXX XXXX, In fact all my social security check has been garnished electronically by XXXX XXXX to the order of XXXX XXXX out of my XXXX XXXX XXXX account. these payments have not been received by XXXX XXXX. They are telling me to provide verification from the bank, in this case, XXXX XXXX, where the company XXXX XXXX has the account, that the funds were paid to them. These funds are given to nationstar for buying my daughter 's and my home cash and the funds dissapeared. Nationstar is foreclosing on my home ( I Hold title with my daughter who has XXXX children and XXXX of them still lived there ). they are telling me that Nationstar bought the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who bought XXXX loan for my house and that they want summary judgment for the title of my house and for me to go away. I paid for over 10 years out of my bank account out of my social security funds for the house, and they are telling me that a third person, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX are returning some checks sent to them by Nationstar. No one is willing to clear this out and I have spent all my savings of XXXX in attorneys to fight XXXX XXXX a new attorney who wants to foreclose the home that i repaired ( XXXX roof, XXXX heater and cooler, XXXX down to the attorney of the seller, XXXX XXXX XXXX given at XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX, escrow attorney, and my first payment given by a check. I was told that some payments and escrow funds were not sent to the trust company and lost at the title company and the title company is not willing to furnish copies of front and back of the checks and written instructions to disburse funds that were inappropriately given to XXXX XXXX XXXX to pay the mortgage of the sellers without giving me credit for those payments. The case is that now, in XXXX XXXX XXXX took 3 payments of XXXX off my social security account and did not provide accounting where they were given, as XXXX XXXX does not have them. My bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX shows in my statements that those payments have been cleared off my account by XXXX XXXX and they are telling me at XXXX XXXX the funds are lost. I called XXXX XXXX and they are not giving me information of my social security funds as I am not a signer on the XXXX XXXX checking account where myfunds were deposited by XXXX XXXX. They are telling me at XXXX XXXX that all payments I make and have made have been delivered to Nationstar to pay the mortgage and that the property should not been in default. HOwever, there is a summary judgment for foreclosure and the bank foreclosing Nationstar is telling the judge that they have not had any payments. How can that be since I have been paying for 10 years, so the banks are missing around 70,000 $ in funds from my social security income for the last 5 years I want to know who has my social security funds and why were those never applied to the mortgage, and why is the bank Nationstar asking us to get in title in a quit claim deed to help the bank clear out the parties involved in interest and now they do not want to talk to us anymore. I know XXXX XXXX is holding some deeds but they do not give me information. In fact nobody tells me anything and the only letter I got is a letter demanding payment for XXXX, when I already paid 3 times and I should be paid till XXXX this year in advance??? This is my home you know, can all the banks involved in dealing with my funds talk to each other to see who is using those funds and to be able to rectify? I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and I have worked all my life as a teacher in the community and I am protecting my daughter and my grandkids, they - my daughter and grandkids - do not have other home than this one, owned by both of us. Are there some funds to help people in our situation, maybe some tax assistance to hire auditors and investigators and attorneys who can help us. The shelters are full and the public housing has a waitlist for them and my daughter. Maybe you know of an agency that helps families before houses get bought by investors at the court steps for a fraction of what we have already paid cash to XXXX XXXX, I know they have lost at least 70,000 from my savings that I have given them since XXXX. I have been made aware that this house was in foreclosure at least as of XXXX yet the banks keep on collecting and accepting payments from me and tell me I am not able to do anything since I am not listed as a mortgagor but just the old lady that pays and pays. and pays.

We were told the escrow would be sent. XX/XX/XXXX spoke to XXXX XXXX. ( ext. XXXX ) She said escrow had been sent, but she would re-send it because I hadn't received it.
