Consumer Complaint: Since XXXX of XXXX I was on a repayment plan with Nation Star mortgage that was to end in XXXX of XXXX. The payments were for XXXX due to the fact that I also had monies in suspense. Now that the re payment has been fulfilled, Nation star mortgage is stating that the repayment plan was set up incorrectly with XXXX XXXX, whom is supposed to be a " dedicated loan specialist. '' Nation Star is reporting to the credit bureaus that at this time I owe since XXXX of XXXX. This is incorrect and I have fulfilled the five months and total amount due of XXXX. Nation Star has claimed today, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, that the repayment plan was set up incorrectly- they should have certainly noticed this during the five months they have been receiving the funds for this repayment plan. If, indeed, their representative set this plan up wrong this is their error, not mine. I want the credit fixed and updated on my credit report reflecting current. Furthermore, if they made a monetary error, as well, this is their error, and they need to fix it, whether that money has to come from their bank or their representative I do not care. This is their error to fix and correct promptly. I am currently trying to receive a car loan and Nation Star is the only company that does not have me current on credit reporting. Now that I am current with Nation Star, they need to update the credit ASAP.

Consumer Complaint: I am very concerned with this mortgage company. The first loan was paid in full and even lien's were paid. One reporting agency is stating that the loan is closed and the other is stating that it is not. I went through a Deed in Lieu procedure and even closed on the property at the bank, XXXX . Please have the reporting agencies remove all late dates and times from their reports. XXXX and XXXX . Furthermore, please have Nation Star report this correct closing and no late payments to my report. That is the fair resolution. My XXXX was applied.In XX/XX/XXXX , one of my colleague who had purchased house in XXXX , CA and living there sinc e XX/XX/XXXX met me and advised me to purchase a house in XXXX , CA. He mentioned that his manager recommended him to purchase the house and it would support him settling in USA and also will have a nice financial gain. He also advised me the same and told that since my XXXX was applied buying a house in XXXX CA would help in settling in USA. He als o arranged for visiting a few houses in XXXX , CA in XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX Time-frame which I did. Area was nice and appeared like a good residential community. I purchased a condo in XXXX CA in XX/XX/XXXX . I me ntioned to Housing Agent that I was on XXXX XXXX and did not have XXXX . He mentioned that it is not a problem and mentioned that I can purchase the condo, I can sell the condo through him any time after the 1 year and told that I would make a nice profit. After verification by Financing company, forms etc I purchased the condo in XX/XX/XXXX for USD XXXX . I owned it til l XX/XX/XXXX . In XX/XX/XXXX I ha d to go to XXXX for a week vacation which appeared like extending for more time.My relatives in XXXX asked me to sell the house and come to XXXX . I did not want to. I went to XXXX for a extended time and then came back and I was staying in the house. Then one XXXX XXXX and his friend knocking my door and asked me why I was staying alone. I told that I was alone and hence staying alone. They asked me to go back to XXXX .My job at XXXX was gone then. I was trying to find an other job in USA. In stead of advising me to find another job in USA, they advised me to go to XXXX and stay there. When I applied to some companies they advised me to go to XXXX for a year and come back. I went to XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX . I stayed in XXXX till XX/XX/XXXX . I had paid mortgage of more tha n USD 120k from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX for the house in XXXX , CA. This house was gone when I was in XXXX . My complaint is that : 1 ) why they let me purchase the house without XXXX , 2 ) even when I wanted to continue in the house a nd work on a job, why they advised me to go to XXXX . It is my prerogative whether I want to work i n USA or XXXX . I could have as well worked in USA with an employer, I could have rented the place to somebody, could have collected the rent and continued to hold the house. 3 ) why they sold my house in XX/XX/XXXX without my notification nor did they gave my USD XXXX mortgage I paid or th e USD XXXX in improvement I had made in the house. They should have contacted me, notified me and taken my permission before selling the house. I could have still rented the place and tried to make the payments. How can they tell what I should do. Have I gone to them asking for financial advise?? No. Are they licensed to give financial advise?? No. Just knocking on our door, calling for some social gatherings and asking me to go to XXXX is not a good practice. If at all they could, they should have helped me hold onto the house, get my XXXX , work in USA fo r a better salary, progress in life. They have not done and now they are responsible to fix the things they have done wrong to me and my family ( I got married in XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX daughter born in XX/XX/XXXX ).

Consumer Complaint: I am in the process of selling a home. The Original Mortgage was done by XXXX XXXX XXXX , who was bought out by XXXX XXXX XXXX . XXXX XXXX then sold the note to NationStar Mortgage. The note was originally secured by 3 separate properties, but the one at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , IN was sold and no longer secures the note. The mortgage note for this home is secured by 2 properties. The property that I have under contract to sell is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX , IN XXXX and the other property that secures this note is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX , IN XXXX . The Mortgage note is currently held by NationStar Mortgage. On XXXX , XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX in XXXX , IN requested a partial release for the property on XXXX XXXX . Today she got a response from NationStar Mortgage with a long list of items required for a partial release. They are : {$250.00} partial release fee, no 30 day lates in the last 12 months, appraisal of both properties securing the note, survey of the property being released, sales contract. The original note does not have any of these requirements for a partial release. I agree that a copy of the sales contract is reasonable and when the appraisal for the property being sold is completed, we will also provide a copy of it. I feel that the remainder of the items are unreasonable and are only a requirement to make the process so difficult that they can not be met in time for the scheduled closing. The current balance on the note is {$79000.00}. After the closing costs are taken out from the sale, NationStar Mortgage will receive just over {$50000.00} toward the note. That would leave a balance on the note of around {$29000.00} and secured by the home on XXXX XXXX XXXX , which is valued at $ {$89000.00}. I can have the realtor provide a Comparative Market Analysis to o NationStar showi ng the current market value of Wheeling. This is provided free of charge to me and an appraisal would cost {$450.00} and take a month to obtain. I need your help to resolve this matter with NationStar Mortgage ASAP, so we can still close on X/XX/17 . I have attached a copy of the original note, and the maturity date was extended to XXXX / XXXX / XXXX . I have also attached a copy of the list of items for release from NationStar Mortgage.

Consumer Complaint: I just got a letter from a company called XXXX that my house has been scheduled to be auctioned o n XX/XX/XXXX . I have been fighting this auctioning of my house with Nationstar for many years now. Nationstar want to foreclose on my house instead of modifying my HAMP Loan Modification to a more affordable mortgage monthly payment. I applied for this modification in XXXX . I told the servicer to modify the loan but they have been giving me the runaround and playing hardball with me. They asked for the same documents over and over again since XXXX which were never used to modify the loan. Not only do they botched my loan modification, they refused to modify. They never made any conscientious effort to modify the loan. Their goal is always to foreclose. At this time I believe that they can not foreclose because of the foreclosure statue of limitation. They have been trying to foreclose on this house for the pas t 6 years. I believe the statue of limitation has ran out. Attached is the foreclosure letter I received from a third party.

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is in reference to an already existing complaint ... # XXXX . NationsStar Mortgage has been penalized for failing to properly report certain data. In contrast this mortgage company has been noted for several years with the same issue and has spilled into consumers that hold a mortgage with them. We have exhausted all efforts to get caught up on mortgage payments including sending Nations Star documents supporting reasons for delayed payments. We have completed 5 years of bankruptcy and are now attempting to build our financial lives. Nations Star could not respond to our complaints in a timely manner including the contact person, who seems to try and quickly make calls hang up and go to the next one. The modification Nations Star offered was nothing but an attempt to start to pay on time by raising our mortgage payment. This IS NOT a solution for us, but it works out for the Nations Star ( please see docu ment attached ). According to NS our payments increased, but our trial payments are {$1200.00}, when inquired that this payment is higher than the payment we were originally making of $ XXXX . Before XXXX , payments were {$1000.00} and now we are asked to pay more after requesting help. Our homeowners association dues were not addressed and I have had to speak with several different representatives who could not find the right person to address this issue. The nightmare of attempting to communicate with Nations Star continues.

Consumer Complaint: Back in XXXX Of XXXX I missed the first mortgage payment in about 2 years due to a financial hardship. I missed XXXX , XXXX XXXX XXXX making a payment in XXXX XXXX . I applied for a Modification and tried to work with them ( Nationstar Mortgage ) receiving no answer back until about XXXX XXXX when I was served with a foreclosure order ( I was never actually served Live ). I hired an attorney ( XXXX XXXX ), who has tried to get me XXXX modification and other plans ( though he dropped the ball on certain matters ). Basically they said, incorrectly that my loan could not modify because they ca n't lower my payment. I have the ability to continue payments, however I am being constantly denied based on an alleged XXXX XXXX requirement that they must lower my payment Because I am actually making quite a bit more in my new job ( which they are aware of ) I am able to pay even more if necessary, and Nationstar ( at this point ) will not even request a waiver of any such " requirement/guideline ''.
