Consumer Complaint: IN XX/XX/XXXX I notified Nationstar of an error in applying payments and they acknowledge the error - They further accknowledge the need to correct and reset my mortgage - I have been assisted by an excellent member ( XXXX XXXX ) - however XXXX XXXX has been promoted and the correction is pending 5 months later and as of today - still unresolved. XXXX XXXX have confirmed in writing - ( 1 ) I have been wrongly been reported as in foreclosure, ( 2 ) I have wrongly been accessed legal fees, ( 3 ) I have wrongly lost my fixed price interest rate and defaulted to a adjustable rate, ( 4 ) I have wrongly been accessed Admin fees in excess of {$500.00} per month for more than a year ... .. ( 5 ) my credit report has been impacted by these errors for more than 8 months - Nationstar/XXXX XXXX has tried repeatedly, but after 5 billing cycles has been unable to resolve, reset and fix these HUGE errors - that Nationstar admits are completely their admin errors. XXXX XXXX is a wonderful man and has been a blessing - however he is not being supported by Nationstars processes to correct these error

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I took out a mortgage with my wife. In XXXX XXXX we divorced. Per our divorce decree she was to refinance or modify and take me off. The mortgage company modified the loan without my acknowledgement which caused me to become ineligible for another loan for 3 years. They did not obtain my signature or permission to do the modification. They refuse to take the loan off my credit report XXXX the loan is current ) and it shows a modification and I am told there is a 3 year waiting period. My damage is that I can not move on and purchase another home because they did a modification without my signature.

Consumer Complaint: Nationstar Mortgage took over my loan in XXXX and they have been misrepresenting the accounting on this mortgage since they took over. They have been unable or unwilling to provide me with a detailed accounting of the escrow account and they have continued to add fees and charges to the account. Their records now show a past due amount of {$5700.00} on the loan despite all payments have been current since XXXX when they took over. One of the problems is that they purchased an insurance policy in XXXX when the home already had a policy in force and they charged the escrow account. They have also incorrectly posted payments in the account to the wrong months. I have been trying to resolve this with Nationstar since XXXX through calls and emails and they will not provide me with any customer support. They continue to transfer my calls to a call center in XXXX and the representatives can not assist me with these issues and do not understand the escrow accounting. I am now under contract to sell this home and want to resolve this before the loan is paid off.

Consumer Complaint: I modified this loan in XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I made four payments ( Phoned in Check # XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, Bank Check # XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, and Bank Check # XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, Personal check # XXXX ) to XXXX XXXX XXXX as per the modification agreement to XXXX, but XXXX XXXX XXXX sold the servicing before the modification of the loan. The loan was transferred to Nationstar Mortgage, now Mr. Cooper. Nationstar/Mr. Cooper failed to modify my loan when they received it. They claim to only have two payments towards the modification. They did not credit me for the first payment ( phoned in check # XXXX ), and were using my second payment as my first, and my third payment as a second payment. The fourth payment was also not credit to me and it was not until they received my fifth payment that the modification was completed on XX/XX/XXXX. Unfortunately this left me 30 days behind, when I really was one month ahead. I have filed several complaints and they appear to have found my payments but have credited me less than the amount due. They claim I now have a credit of XXXX when I should have a total credit of XXXX. They have not been very clear on why I even have a credit. My suspicions are they have found my payments, but are deducting all the late charges that should be completely removed, since I have never been late with my payments since the modification. I provided ample proof of all my payments, and they have both XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX payment history and their own. I 'm also puzzled why they claim to have completed a new modification on XX/XX/XXXX ... Why? I did n't need a modification, I needed them to apply my payments correctly ... ..Something they failed to do.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I had a Chapter XXXX bankruptcy discharged. Since then my mortgage loan has been transfered a few times. When it was serviced by XXXX XXXX XXXX we were involved in a home loan modification to make a commitment to stay in our home and get current on our mortgage. The modification was approved XXXX XXXX. The modification re-financial structure constitutes in writing documentation that we are affirming our commitment to repayment of the mortgage. The reason for this complaint is to make Nationstar aware of the non-reporting to the credit bureaus for the past 15 months of all our timely mortgage payments. After speaking to the Bankruptcy department division from Nationstar who has recently changed their name to XXXX XXXX, I was told that I would have to re-open the bankruptcy and file a re-affirmation agreement and that I would not be given any retroactive payment history to the credit bureaus. I feel that my rights as a consumer and home owner have been severely effected by an error on Nationstar Mortgage now XXXX XXXX. Both myself and my husbands credit scores would have had an impactful positive reflection if there would have been reporting of our timely mortgage payments.

Consumer Complaint: I moved into my home in XX/XX/XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX I felt behind on my mortgage 3 months my mortgage company offer me loan modification I except the loan modification thinking that they were going to put the 3 months that I was behind in at the end of the loan only to find out that they wiped out the entire 12 years of payments that I had previous from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX and started the loan over for 30 years. Which mean instead of me being through with my loan and owning my home in 13 years it will now be 25 years at the age that I am now and because of this I will probably never live to be able to retire and will never live to own my home. Which mean that they would get 42 years in payments and probably still end up with them owning the house. I work all my life and will not have my home. That 's un fair this company took advantage of me when I needed help and nowhere to turn to. In reality I paid them XXXX dollars for being behind on my mortgage 3 months which was about 3.000 dollars. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Hi, my servicer NATIONSTAR MORTGAGE, LLC which now has changed their name to Mr. Cooper is violating my California Home Owners Bill of Rights and other laws and are making fraudulent foreclosure sale on my property. I have been approved for a loan modification with NATIONSTAR MORTGAGE, LLC / Mr. Cooper and have paid them for the Loan Modification Trial Period Payments and they are still placing my home under foreclosure sale scheduled for XX/XX/. I have paid Nationstar Mortgage but im afraid that now that Mr. Cooper is the new name of the company they will say wait you paid Nationstar mortgage NOT Mr.. Cooper sorry we cant do anything. After a couple years of working and trying to get a loan modification finally Nationstar Mortgage approved me for a Trial Period Payment Plan. We were very happy to finally see a Trial Period Plan and we were happy to move forward. Our First payment had to be made on XX/XX/XXXX. I agreed to the Trial Period Payments and sent out my first payment of {$1400.00} to Nationstar Mortgage on XX/XX/XXXX and was delivered on XX/XX/XXXX which they accepted and everything was ok. Next month I sent out the second Trial Period Payment of {$1400.00} to Nationstar Mortgage on XX/XX/XXXX and was delivered on XX/XX/XXXX which they accepted and everything was ok as well. But after making those two payments I received letter in the mail saying that my Loan Modification was denied due to not making the Trial Period Payments. How can this be that after making two payments which they cashed they now are saying that I did not make any payments? I have proof of these payments and now they have placed my home for sale on foreclosure auction set for XX/XX/XXXX .They are clearly in violation of the California Homeowners Bill of Rights and other laws as well. Mr. Cooper / Nationstar Mortgage is saying that there is a sale date and the sale is scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX.
