Consumer Complaint: In XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX my loan was bought out from XXXX XXXX Mortgage to Mr Cooper. The loan was completely under Mr Cooper by XX/XX/XXXX. During this time I had PMI of {$200.00} a month which comes out of escrow and paid directly when the mortgage is paid monthly. The information was put into their computer system as a - coming from the previous company. I have never had a late payment in the life of the loan ( XX/XX/XXXX ) when the property was purchased. In XX/XX/XXXX my PMI came off and in XX/XX/XXXX I had a negative balance of {$200.00} on my account which Mr Cooper is charging me for monthly {$16.00}. If you have a negative on your account in any form, PMI can not be dropped ( these are XXXX XXXX rules ). Also PMI is not held in escrow and comes out monthly through the mortgage payments. I have fought with Mr Cooper now since XXXX about this issue which I was wrongfully charged due to their mistake. If this does not get resolved this way I will have to take even further action.

Consumer Complaint: I have called Mr Cooper a dozen times & can never get a representative on the phone. Each time I have to go through at least 10 minutes of unnecessary recorded messages before I can get to a menu option that is supposed to connect me to a representative. Their system supposedly transfers me to a wait queue then keeps me on hold another 5 minutes all the while telling me someone will answer shortly then it hangs up on me. My mortgage was with XXXX XXXX & it was not my choice to have my mortgage with this sham Mr cooper company & at this point I dont believe anyone works there. Please shut this scam company down.

Issue: Struggling to pay mortgage
Subissue: An existing modification, forbearance plan, short sale, or other loss mitigation reli
Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, Hello, my name is XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I have a XXXX mortgage on my only home in XXXX. Unfortunately, I needed to utilize the XXXX forbearance program in XXXX. Upon returning to work, I discovered the CARES Act AND the XXXX portion of the HAF Program had both closed. Therefore, I found myself without recourse to bring my mortgage current. My lender recommended I submit a modification request. However, the 2.8 % interest rate I enjoyed would no longer be available and once the more current 7+ % rate was applied, the lender informed me my debt to income ratio was not conducive to my being approved for a modification. My contact with VA informed me there is apparently a chance more funds will be appropriated and I may be able to receive the same protection as was allotted under the CARES Act ( wherein the arrears would be totaled and placed into a non-interest bearing second mortgage, essentially, and the loan would be placed at the end of the primary mortgage ). If this is possible, please advise me as to the details, otherwise you may add me to the list of XXXX veterans who believed the federal government would certainly never provide access to a forbearance which was followed by no possible way out of the hole created by the forbearance. Please advise me as to the best next move. Best Regards, XXXX XXXX

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive enough information to verify debt
Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute and request the immediate removal of the late dates of certain entries on my credit report, specifically accounts related to NATIONSTAR. I submitted a request for information regarding these alleged debts. Regrettably, as of today, I have not received any correspondence from them in response to my request. It is critical to note that these companies have failed to provide sufficient information to verify the debts in question, even after being given ample time. The lack of communication or response from them is both concerning and a violation of standard credit reporting practices. I withhold my consent for electronic communication and explicitly request that all responses be conveyed in written form through the United States Postal Service ( USPS ). Nationstar XXXX XXXX XXXX.
