Consumer Complaint: I had two options to select from : subsidized loan and unsubsidized loan. I picked the " unsubsidized loan '' option and received a message saying that I have taken a loan out of Mohela and have to pay it back. It is on my credit report. If I really wanted to pick the subsidized loan, I would have taken the unsubsidized loan as well with it.

It is an invasion of my right to privacy pursuant to 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 4 ). Also, according to 15 USC 1681a ( e ) factual information shall not be included on a consumer 's credit record. This consumer reporting agency is in violation of three federal laws. I demanded her to remove the accounts referencing federal laws as a protected consumer exercising my rights.

Consumer Complaint: MOHELA is a third party debt collector who has been reporting false information to consumer credit reporting without my consent. I have tried to resolve this issue for a long time. They have disregarded ALL laws. Per 16 CFR 433.1, 433.2 and 433.3, I, as a debtor, am asserting my rights and the alleged debt was paid in full with my Master Promissory Note. My promissory note is a negotiable instrument. Please see attached a copy of my promissory note.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XX/XX/2021, I checked my credit report and noticed that Mohela hadn't updated my student loan information since XXXX XX/XX/2021. I paid the loan in full on XXXX XX/XX/2021. Since Mohela hadn't updated my credit report since XXXX XXXX, I disputed the information ( loan balance ) on XXXX XX/XX/2021. On XXXX XX/XX/2021, even though the loan had been paid in full, Mohela refused to update and give accurate information with the rationale that they weren't required to do so until the end of the month instead of accurately and truthfully answering a consumer credit dispute with accurate information. I have attempted to rectify this situation to no avail.

Consumer Complaint: I have reached out to Mohela several times in the past few years to update my credit profile for 2 late payments across multiple balances. These late payments were reported inaccurately and they are refusing to update to current. It has adversely affected my credit and what they are doing is absolutely fraudulent. I have no other means of getting this resolved other than going through with this complaint to report them for bad practices. Ive sent letters and emails to their Executive Director, but nothing. It is criminal and a horrible practice with the things they are doing regarding student loans just to make people lives miserable because they wanted to get an education to better their lives.

Consumer Complaint: In light of my new understanding of consumer laws, I've discovered that Mohela is in violation of the law when it comes to my consumer report. They are in violation of the following US Codes : 15 U.S. Code 1681 ( 2 ) ( i ) : report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report 15 U.S. Code 1681 ( 2 ) ( iii ) : communication of other information among persons related by common ownership or affiliated by corporate control, if it is clearly and conspicuously disclosed to the consumer that the information may be communicated among such persons and the consumer is given the opportunity, before the time that the information is initially communicated, to direct that such information not be communicated among such persons ; ( No disclosures were given ) 15 U.S. Code 6802 ( b ) ( 1 ) In general A financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless ( A ) such financial institution clearly and conspicuously discloses to the consumer, in writing or in electronic form or other form permitted by the regulations prescribed under section 6804 of this title, that such information may be disclosed to such third party ; ( B ) the consumer is given the opportunity, before the time that such information is initially disclosed, to direct that such information not be disclosed to such third party ; and ( C ) the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. ( I was never given the option to Opt-Out )

I get an email back saying its a private loan theyre cutting closing my case I am asking for for forgiveness for my loan I am also asking that if my husband abandoned me on the streets a month after I cosign his student loan that he take back his student loan and shove it up his XXXX
