Consumer Complaint: I have a FHA loan through Freedom Mortgage. XXXX XXXX Cooperate office is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX The office I am dealing with : Freedom Mortgage XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX Work : XXXX ext. XXXX Fax : XXXX Freedom Mortgage is hounding me on my F.H.A. loan. Starting XX/XX/XXXX the letters and phone calls became two and three times a week to refinance. XXXX of XXXX was a particularly pushy call ; I went around with this man explaining to him that XX/XX/XXXX the PMI would drop off my loan as I fell under the lock time for a permanent payment of the PMI. Since this call the letters and calls have changed and it seems the worth of my home has changed and then my monthly payments are not showing up ( Since XX/XX/XXXX I have had no problems ). This has all exacerbated to the point and many arguments and hours on the phone with them, the last call was quite interesting as I was informed that XXXX XXXX was my mortgage provider not Freedom Mortgage, they finally admitted that XXXX XXXX was their XXXX. I was also informed that the reason I will never be able to drop the PMI was there was no appraisal on my property! When freedom Mortgage took over my FHA loan the program they used was if the last appraisal was within 2 years they would sue that one which is for XXXX. They are using my original loan amount OF XXXX. Freedom is trying to defraud me with forcing late payments, no appraisal, and Enormous escrow " adjustments ''! They agreed to send me the recordings and the paper work that they are using to compare the paper work That I have so I started recording the conversations, this has been nothing but a XXXX Situation as I have been a homeowner since XX/XX/XXXX and have never missed nor been late on my house payments. Would you please look into this for me?

Consumer Complaint: Please note this is NOT A DUPLICATE complaint. It is another complaint on Freedom Mortgage for different violations. FM falsely and wrongfully reported me late on mortgage payments to the credit bureaus resulting in a denial of credit to refinance. See copy of email denial below. " On XX/XX/2016, at XXXX, XXXX & lt ; XXXXXXXXXXXX & gt ; wrote : XXXX, Thank-you for your on line application. The information on the application meets the guideline we are required to send a loan estimate. See attachment # 1. Unfortunately we are not able to take your application at this time. Your loan is ineligible due to a 60 day late payment and a 90 day late payment reported on your credit report by Freedom Mortgage within the last 12 months. The 2nd attachment contains your credit score disclosure. On page 2 of the disclosure is information on obtaining a copy of your credit report. We are not able to provide you with any additional information regarding the reason or the status on the reported late payments. You will need to contact your mortgage servicer and discuss this information with them. The information is being reported by XXXX. Before XXXX would be able to proceed with an application there can be no mortgage late payments being reported within the last 12 months on your credit report. I am sorry we are not able to assist you at this time. Thank-you. XXXX XXXX Mortgage Consultant XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX, MI XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX Phone XXXX Fax XXXX '' FM has not posted payment on the correct dates and places and has not provided a mortgage balance after each payment is posted. The Monthly statements do not match the loan overview. FM has violated the policy on your website for mortgage lenders to follow. 1. Servicers have to give you a written mortgage statement1 each billing cycle showing : What you owe on the current bill, and how much, if any, will be applied to principal, interest, and escrow. If your mortgage loan has multiple payment options, the statement must show whether the principal balance will increase, decrease, or stay the same for each option listed. Payments made since the last statement How previous payments were applied Transaction activity ( including any fees or charges to your account ) 3. Promptly credit your payments. Servicers have to give you credit for your full payments as of the day they come in. If you pay only part of what you owe, the servicer may hold your partial payment ( s ) in a special account. But, the servicer must tell you about this on your monthly statement. When that special account collects enough money to make a full payment of principal, interest, and any escrow, the servicer has to credit that payment to your account.

Consumer Complaint: During my refinance, I was told that I had an escrow shortage of roughly XXXX, that needed to be paid. I have yet to receive an escrow analysis statement. When I called they indicated that my insurance increased by double. After calling the insurance company they indicated that was incorrect, my taxes had reduced and I should not have any shortage any where of this amount. meanwhile my payment will be increased by over XXXX a month. Insurance company indicated that during my disbursement XX/XX/2015, it was paid twice which was refunded. I received a check XX/XX/2015 ; I called Freedom, and they told me it was my refund. I asked are you sure I do n't need to send this to you, they stated no. It is yours, now here we are a YEAR later and they are charging me for the refund they sent to me. How is this legal? No statement either? I want this charge to be reversed-since this was an error by Freedom not the consumer-ME.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for a mortgage refinance through Freedom Mortgage on XXXX/XXXX/16 and did not receive a request for needed documents until XXXX/XXXX/16. I then sent the documents requested to them by e-mail on XXXX/XXXX/16. I e-mailed them on XXXX/XXXX/16 because I had not heard anything and they let me know my appraisal would take place on XXXX/XXXX/16. On XX/XX/2016 I was informed by e-mail that they needed me to re-send the documents I had already sent ( they were identical and not changed in anyway ). I was then asked to send the same documents again on XXXX/XXXX/16. On XXXX/XXXX/16 I was asked to sign an additional document and returned it the same day. On XXXX/XXXX/16 I informed them by e-mail that I would be filing a complaint as I still had not heard anything on my loan. I received a phone call letting me know the loan was in underwriting and they would contact me. On XXXX/XXXX/16 I received an e-mail requesting updated information that I sent to them the same day. I have been told my loan is still in underwriting. Are there rules as to the time frame in which they need to be responding to me or a time frame for the underwriting process. This has really been a nightmare. They keep asking for the exact same things. They have contacted my employer multiple times and my employer informs me they keep asking the exact same questions. I would really just like to get the loan closed. Is there anyway you can please, please help me?

Consumer Complaint: I refinance my home on XXXX XXXX, 2016. Loan was with XXXX. XXXX transferred my loan to Freedom Mortgage on XXXX XXXX, 2016 even though they had received a payoff demand letter from my lender and I had called them to inform them that I was refinancing and it would close on or about XXXX XXXX, 2016. Meanwhile, there was also an insurance claim check for water damages to my home for {$7000.00}. XXXX transferred my loan, the insurance check and the payoff check all over to Freedom Mortgage when I had refinanced with XXXX Bank. XXXX had received the payoff demand letter and I had called them. I have been fighting with Freedom Mortgage since XXXX XXXX, 2016 to get this corrected. Now Freedom Mortgage has kept my {$7000.00} insurance claim money and charged me {$6000.00} in interest for a loan they never should of had to start with. I have been trying to resolve this now for almost 4 months going on 5 months. All I get is the run around and I am frustrated beyond words.
