Consumer Complaint: I never received a 30 day opt out notice per 12 CFR 1016.7. Nor was I given reasonable opportunity to opt out per 12 CFR 1022.24. Per 15 USC 1681a ( 2 ) ( A ) ( 1 ) reporting transaction history is ILLEGAL. 15 USC 1682b ( c ) ( 2 ) states written instructions of the consumer are needed. Provide me with the written instructions given that gave permission to use my information. 15 USC 1681c states no derogatory remarks besides convictions of crimes shall be reported. 12 CFR 1022.3 defines IDENTITY THEFT as a fraud committed or attempted using the identifying information of another person without authority. 15 USC 1681n explains civil liability for willful non compliance which per my first complaint, has not been followed. ( B ) details the monetary penalties at {$1000.00} per violation with and damages included as I have been denied credit. 15 USC 1681o is civil liability for non compliance. Next reports are going to the FTC, CID, FBI for non compliance, unauthorized use of non public personal information, and miss-use of said information. I also want a copy of my complete credit file not an E-oscar report.

Consumer Complaint: I am submitting a complaint regarding incorrect negative information on my Experian credit report. Despite multiple disputes, Experian continues to report a bankruptcy filing from XX/XX/XXXX, reference # XXXX that does not belong to me. This false bankruptcy information is severely impacting my credit score and ability to obtain credit. I have contacted Experian multiple times to dispute this incorrect information, most recently on XX/XX/XXXX, but they have failed to adequately investigate and remove it from my report. Experian claims they verified this bankruptcy information with XXXX. However, when I contacted XXXX, they stated they had no bankruptcy records for me at all. Additionally, the court of Maryland confirmed they do not report bankruptcies to credit bureaus. I have provided Experian with all relevant information to prove this bankruptcy filing is fraudulent, including my full legal name, SSN, current and previous addresses, and statement that I have never filed for bankruptcy. However, they refuse to remove this damaging information from my credit file. I am requesting that the CFPB assist me in getting Experian to properly investigate this fraudulent bankruptcy listing by contacting the courts and getting confirmation directly from them, and permanently delete it from my credit report, as well as any other necessary remedies to restore my credit score from this false information they are reporting.

Consumer Complaint: It is a crime to threaten lawsuit with no intention of doing so, therefore you can take heed that I am very serious about filing suit against your company. I have sent 4 previous letters to you, all by certified mail requesting that you remove inaccurate information from my file and you have failed to do so. Accordingly, I can show a judge that these accounts are inaccurate and that you violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act by ignoring my requests to investigate the items. My previous letters ( all sent by certified mail ) stated my reasons for an investigation and these reasons were not frivolous in any way. I take my credit very serious and your lack of professionalism and assistance disappoints me. I am well aware of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and I intend to pursue them to the maximum. XXXX. This account resulted due to identity theft.
