Issue: Problem with a company's investigation into an existing problem
Subissue: Investigation took more than 30 days
Consumer Complaint: I am listing accounts below that have been reported inaccurately on my credit report. In compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and as a gesture of respect to the Federal Trade Commission Committee on accuracy and completeness of credit information I am formally writing in today to dispute negative information appearing on my credit. This incorrect information is greatly hindering me from getting the credit score I deserve and hopefully, this letter will resolve all the issues on my credit. I demand to see Verifiable Proof ( an original Consumer Contract with my Signature on it ) of the accounts listed below. Your failure to positively verify these accounts has hurt my ability to obtain credit.

Consumer Complaint: I have already sent a letter addressing the inaccuracies and unknown items on my credit report, but unfortunately, I have not received any response even after 30 days. It feels like I'm being taken advantage of and my disputes are being ignored. According to Section 611 ( a ), if these items are not investigated within 30 days, they should be promptly removed from my credit report. Since it has been over 30 days, I expect these accounts to be updated immediately. If not, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action due to the stress this situation has caused me. Additionally, my information was also affected by the XXXX, Experian, and XXXX data breach, which raises concerns about the security of my personal data.

Consumer Complaint: My experian and XXXX XXXX Reports both say I have over {$40000.00} in student debt because they are duplicated. XXXX Had my student loans until XXXX took them over. XXXX is still reporting it on my credit reports as a debt. I called XXXX XXXX and they told me the credit reporting companies are wrong. When I dispute the debts are still doubled. My total debt is higher on the credit reports than it should of been and I been denied many loans and mortgages. From this duplication is showing my Debt to Income ratio. If you look at the report there is 4 student loan debts, there should be only 2. Dept of EdXXXX is not collecting. XXXX is and it is a double debt.

Consumer Complaint: I have been trying to get inaccurate things off of my credit report for a while now. I have informed XXXX, XXXX, and Experian that I am a foster youth. I am a victim of identity theft and that there are numerous things on my credit report that do not belong to me, are inaccurately reporting, and it is keeping me from obtaining the things I need to get buy such as housing, a vehicle and other things. 15 usc 1681 inaccurate reporting. XXXX is reporting that XXXX XXXX opened XX/XX/2022 was closed XXXX XXXX as a charge off for {$5000.00}. XXXX is reporting that XXXX XXXX was opened XX/XX/2022 it says it is closed but does not give a date, it is charged off {$5000.00} Experian is that XXXX XXXX was opened XX/XX/2022 closed as a charge off. XXXX written off. {$5000.00} credit limit XXXX highest balance. A charge off is considered a certificate of indebtedness. Which means it is income. Income should not be reported and must be removed. Experian, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX XXXX are reporting inaccurately, unfairly and I have opted out therefore they are not respecting my wishes or the privacy of my personal information. Which is their duty according to The Fair Credit Reporting Act. The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 15 U.S.C. 1681 et seq., governs access to consumer credit report records and promotes accuracy, fairness, and the privacy of personal information assembled by Credit Reporting Agencies ( CRAs ).
