Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, Experian was notified of fraudulent information being reported on my credit report. In accordance with FCRA, I submitted all necessary forms and documentation to establish fraud claim. From time of receipt, Experian is required to delete and block all fraudulent information. Experian has failed to comply with federal regulations and has caused my credit reputation grave harm. Experian received all documents and has failed to act to ensure the consumer is being protected. According to Experian reporting this fraudulent information, my credit report shows XXXX different accounts with the same vendor for over XXXX. These accounts were not opened by me, nor did I approve anyone to open these accounts. I have reached out for documentation verifying signatures, but I have not received a response. By law, Experian is required to delete these fraudulent accounts and provide me with an updated credit report at no cost to me. Enclosed is the letter sent to XXXX ( which was included with the documentation I sent Experian ). Please remove all accounts from my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to express my continued concern regarding the issue related to my credit report. As of the date of this letter, I have not received any response from Experian, XXXX XXXX and ( the consumer reporting agencies in question ), in reference to my initial complaint. In my original complaint, I detailed my dissatisfaction with the credit reporting agencies reporting on my correct spelling of my name, not including my address, transaction history, including late or missed payments, which I firmly believe is a direct violation of my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the Privacy Act of 1974. I have attached a copy of my original complaint for reference. the corporation has failed to deliver notice to the consumer of the ability to opt out of the sharing of non public transaction history on account to non affiliated parties Please See all violations below 5 U.S.C. 552a ( b ) 16 C.F.R. 313.10 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( ii ) - Limits on disclosure of non-public personal information to nonaffiliated third parties. 16 C.F.R. 313.10 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( iii ) - Limits on disclosure of non-public personal information to nonaffiliated third parties. 16 C.F.R. 313.10 ( a ) ( 3 ) ( i ) - Limits on disclosure of non-public personal information to nonaffiliated third parties. 12 CFR 1016.10 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( ii ) - Limits on disclosure of nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated third parties 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( b ) ( 1 ) ( A ) ( ii ) - Permissible purposes of consumer reports 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( b ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) - Permissible purposes of consumer reports 15 U.S. Code 1681b ( b ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( ii ) - Permissible purposes of consumer reports 12 U.S. Code 3403 ( a ) - Confidentiality of financial records To summarize, the FCRA defines a " consumer report '' and explicitly excludes reports containing information solely about transactions or experiences between the consumer and the institution making the report. By reporting late or missed payments and credit utilization on my consumer credit report for my consumer credit plans, Experian has violated my rights under the FCRA and my rights under the Privacy Act of XXXX. I kindly request your assistance in addressing this matter promptly. I believe that accurate and fair reporting of consumer information is essential, and I am seeking a resolution to this issue in accordance with the law. I request that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau takes appropriate action to ensure Experian, Experian and XXXX complies with the FCRA and corrects this error immediately, reflecting 0 % credit utilization, and ensuring that the payments on any and all of my accounts only show on-time payments on a consumer credit report for my consumer credit accounts. I appreciate your attention to this complaint.
