Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was paid
Consumer Complaint: Recently I learned that Enhanced Recovery Corp. had reported to XXXX I owed XXXX XXXX XXXX {$22.00} that I was not willing to pay. This was a complete surprise, since Enhanced Recovery Corp. had not contacted me in any way about this. Not only that, but neither had XXXX XXXX XXXX. So I called XXXX XXXX XXXX. They searched all of my records for the to the very first time I opened my account with them three years ago, but could not find a record of any unpaid bills whatsoever. Yet, this is on my credit report causing unnecessary damage.

Consumer Complaint: I ran my credit report XX/XX/XXXX as I am attempting to purchase a home ... I saw XXXX on my credit report. I contacted XXXX, they claimed non return of equipment from XX/XX/XXXX in which I did not recall. I attempted to have it removed, they claimed that it was valid so I contacted the collections agency, I advised the agency that I needed XXXX removed and cleared from my report, they promised it would be removed so I paid it but it still remains on my report, the balance is now XXXX but XXXX still shows under the collection tab with a XXXX balance. I need this removed from my report.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt was already discharged in bankruptcy and is no longer owed
Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX apparently placed a bad debt in the amount of {$660.00} on my account for a XXXX XXXX balance. The initial report ( on my XXXX report ) shows XXXX, and they have reported the debt again as a negative item this month, XXXX. I have n't had a XXXX XXXX account since XXXX. I have had no recent account with them. The balance that was owed from XXXX was included in my Ch. XXXX bankruptcy filed in XXXX. I suspect that what XXXX XXXX and Enhanced Recovery Corp ( the original holder of the debt ) is attempting to do is illegal, and I 'm tempted to contact an attorney regarding the matter.

Consumer Complaint: I received an alert from my XXXX account saying to check my credit monitoring. I noticed that Enhanced Recovery Collections was reporting to XXXX some sort of Collections account. I do not have any accounts with this Debt Collector and do not know why they have put this information on my Consumer Report. I need to know why this was put onto the Consumer Report without prior consent from the Consumer. I am an older American who does not know why this is normal practice with the Credit reporting agencies please stop this criminal behavior. I wish this would cease and desist pursuant to 15USC1692 c c. This crime of identity theft has been visited by the President who says that there is a travel ban on invasion of the American peoples information. Please show me the employer identification number for Enhanced Recovery and also I need to see the employer identification number for XXXX and also all of the identifications for whomever had this derogatory information placed on the Consumer Report. I have got to figure out who provided all of my personal non private information for all of the public to see. It has to be known who and what and why it has been provided. This obscene and profane language has got to stop. It is a crime pursuant to 18USC242 I must have the right to defend myself before anything is placed on my Consumer Report.

Issue: Written notification about debt
Subissue: Didn't receive notice of right to dispute
Consumer Complaint: I recently checked my credit report and noticed a collection account from Enhanced Recovery Company. I have no knowledge of this debt and never received a notice of right to dispute. I did send a dispute letter as soon as I was made aware of the account. I have note received a response from the company. In the letter I am asking for proof of ownership of this debt and proof bearing my signature or contract with ERC. I do not want bills sent to me but tangible proof that would be upheld per my rights under the fair debt act.
