Consumer Complaint: I received a letter from my student loan servicer on XX/XX/2023 stating that my student loan had been forgiven by the Department of Education. I was told that this change would be reported to all 3 credit agencies and that I should see the change on my credit reports in a month. After six weeks, only XXXX reflected the change, so I filed a dispute requests with both XXXX and Equifax in XXXX, providing the letter which very clearly states that my loan has been forgiven. Both companies responded in only a few days, each with dense, impenetrable multipage reports that essentially told me I was wrong!

Consumer Complaint: I wrote to request that items that are unknown to me be removed. I just learned about this law today. Per FCRA 605B ( 15 U.S.C. 1681c-2 ), you have four business days to remove or prohibit any content or objects. This is something I already mentioned in my prior complaint, and I'm mentioning it here once more.
