Therefore, we hereby refrain from sharing our non-public personal information. See letter from Trustee Agency below. *************************************************************************************************** XX/XX/2024 Dear XXXX & XXXX XXXX, I wanted to correspond regarding our previous conversation on the credit bureaus, the trusteeship, and your completed bankruptcy case. Upon the completion of a XXXX XXXX Bankruptcy plan the standing trustee files a Final Report and Account with the Bankruptcy Courthouse. The trusteeship does not report to nor correspond with the credit bureaus. After the Trustees final report is filed with the court, the presiding judge will discharge the trustee from the case and officially close the bankruptcy. As the status of the case changes based on the orders from the corresponding judge, the updated status become available through the courts electronic records. It is often the use of these electronic court records through which relevant parties are made aware of the status of a particular bankruptcy case. In addition to the courts electronic records, each creditor listed under the bankruptcy plan is also notified by the court of the discharging and closing of the case. Some of these creditors will update their own records with the credit bureaus so that the completed status of the case is reflected.
