Consumer Complaint: I have sent dispute letters to all three bureaus. My Equifax and XXXX report is not reporting accurate information like XXXX. It is showing a collection XXXX not removed/deleted from Equifax and XXXX but is showing removed from XXXX. It is also showing different statuses. XXXX states " collection account. {$350.00} past due as of XX/XX/2024. '' with 3 late payment derogatory marks and Equifax is showing " unpaid '' with no late payment history. XXXX has removed this account. I have documents and proof attached showing what I have stated is accurate. 15 U.S. Code 1681e ( b ) states " Whenever a consumer reporting agency prepares a consumer report it shall follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates. ''

Consumer Complaint: Equifax continues to block access to my personal online account which prevents me from being able to file online disputes to correct my credit report. I can not remember all of the exact dates that I have contacted them about this issue, however, they should have it on file. I have received various reasons for the cause of the problem and I am always met with challenges as far as having it corrected. The most recent incident occurred in XXXX XXXX. When the issue was finally corrected I was told the cause was a duplicate file that they had for me that was causing the issue. After that call I was able to log in, however, as of XXXX XXXX my access has again been blocked. Although I have the ability to mail in disputes, I prefer to send them online and should not be denied the access to do that.
