Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I received an alert from all three credit reporting agencies that a hard inquiry from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX had been placed on my account. This hard inquiry was fraudulent, and I never applied for any home loan because I am a XXXX XXXX XXXX. I immediately contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX, and they informed me that they would stop the application and investigate it. XXXX later informed me that the application submitted was fraudulent, and they would have all three credit reporting agencies remove the hard inquiry and send me a letter. I called XXXX fraud department at XXXX on XXXX occasions, informing them that XXXX and Equifax were refusing to remove the XXXX inquiry. They informed me that they would send another XXXX requests to both agencies, but only XXXX removed the inquiry in XX/XX/2023. I also called XXXX and Equifax on several occasions, and they informed me that they wouldn't remove it even though the copy of the letter I got from XXXX to show proof wasn't enough. They told me that they never received a request from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to remove the hard inquiry. XXXX XXXX XXXX has been very helpful in this case, but XXXX and Equifax have credited a hardship preventing me from getting a commercial business loan for a contract I was supposed to get.

Consumer Complaint: The account XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX on my credit report was scheduled for removal after seven years, in line with the FCRA regulations. Furthermore, there is an alleged balance of {$1300.00} but this debt is uncollectible due to the statute of limitations. The statute of limitations in the state of Texas is 4 years! To my concern, XXXX has diligently followed this timeline and removed the aforementioned account from my credit report. However, XXXX and Equifax have failed to align with this standard and has not taken the necessary steps to remove the account, indicating a clear violation of the FCRA. XXXX XXXX has already been notified that the account should be removed, and that the debt is uncollectible. I sent dispute letters to both Equifax and XXXX over 10 months ago. I urge XXXX and Equifax to rectify this discrepancy promptly by initiating the removal of the specified account from my credit report, aligning with the FCRA guidelines. You are also reporting incorrect data such as the date last active and payment history. Your immediate attention to this matter is crucial in ensuring compliance with federal regulations and preventing any further complications. I trust that you will take swift action to resolve this issue and provide confirmation of the removal within 7 days being that this is long overdue.
