Consumer Complaint: I have paid my account in full with Midland 18 days ago and have yet to receive any updates, final payment letters, dismissal of my suit, and my credit reporting has not changed from delinquent status. When I call for updates, I am given the run around and sent from one " department '' to the next where each pretends to not have knowledge of the other 's status or activity on my account. Today I called to check on a full payment letter that was promised to me 8 days ago. Representative " XXXX XXXX '' ( an alias ) took a very unprofessional tone with me in response to my frustration with being lied to about the progress of my account closure. When told that the mail can take up to 30 days to arrive, I asked why it would take so long. He told me " if you want to work here, you can apply since you know how things work around here. '' I do not appreciate the way my account is being handled, considering I have paid in full as agreed upon 18 days ago. I should be done with Midland but they refuse to do the right thing.

Consumer Complaint: Midland funding has tried to contact me numerous time after I told them to stop. I received a mail numerous times from them trying to settle a debt they claim I owe them. i have never signed any contract with them and if they indeed purchased a debt for pennies on a dollar, that's their problem. I specifically stated that if I owe them a debt to send the debt to the courts. I have not received anything from the courts, therefore ; I should not be receiving harassing and threatening phone calls. The representatives are rude and they speak with you any kind of way.

Consumer Complaint: Midland is reporting in my credit file however it is inaccurate because it was said to be late, yet all the payments are OK. I do not think that this is mine. I did my research on what to do because it is affecting my scores to badly, I asked for documents, disclosure and where did the account come from but they failed to provide me, so I came online and researched. The plaintiff is asking the same thing that I wanted and at the end of it all the plaintiff won this case. I am talking about the Texas VS Midland Funding Case. I have learned that Midland claims to have a disclosure and an agreement that there is a Consumer Agreement for all who they are collecting from. I guarantee you that there is no such thing that I have agreed upon to.
