Consumer Complaint: This complaint is regarding account information below that has not been investigated and no information given. Its been over 2 months with no information given to me regarding these accounts. I have no knowledge of these companies and they shouldnt be reporting as I never gave permission for the reporting per Section 1681a -I sent correspondence to the Credit Bureaus regarding this. I was never notified in writing per 15 U.S.C 1692ag prior to accounts being on my credit report, within 5 days. Moreover, these accounts violate debt collections, abusive and unfair practices per section 1692f ( 1 ) adding additional amounts.

Consumer Complaint: I have had an account with MIdland Credit Management ever since they bought my account in 2017. First I was told they would not put it on my credit report if I made payments. I have been making payments ever since and have not missed a payment yet they still reported it. I know that collections stay on reports approximately 7 years. Now all of a sudden they changed my account number and instead of changing my report to reflect it is a change and giving me credit for my payments ( which they lied and said they werent going to report anyway ) they deleted my account then added a new collection and say I have paid nothing. This not only lengthens the time it will be on my report but hits my credit unfairly as it looks like I just got this collection and that i have done nothing to pay on it. I disputed it but no response- went online and they do not reflect my payments on this account even though my emails and checking accounts show I paid. I tried to chat on their site but they will not because of the dispute.

I spoke to representative and they toke my information and told me that they were going to investigate the situation and they will let me know within a-couple of weeks their response in writing. To day I received a letter stating that they were uncertain of what I was disputing. I call the company again and they toll me that I have to initiate a claim through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, for fraud.
