Consumer Complaint: Discover Card sent me a promotion in the mail for 0 % interest for 14 months on {$4000.00} dollars. After I got the card, they began charging me interest. I spoke with them numerous times and they just said their records show an interest fee. That's it. They just get away with false advertisement and go on. I'm paying off the full amount and will never deal with them again. They are a scam company big time and don't care.

Consumer Complaint: I have reached out to discover already. I got a email once I filed the complaint with u the first time. They said the were going to remove it from my credit report but they never did. And as stated to the credit bureaus. Discover practice unethical measures with reporting negative info on consumers files. I filled a police report & identity theft report with the FTC so this account could be blocked from my credit per section 605B of the FCRA. It gets removed then they come back and says we have identifying info for the account so XXXX puts it back on. However when u ask for proof of yr signature or u applied .They never provide any. & XXXX is letting this happen.

XXXX XXXX ADMITTED TO BUYING A CAR IN MY NAME AND USING XXXX XXXX AS FINANCING, XXXX XXXX IS MY SONS EX WIFE AND THEY BEEN DIVORCED FOR OVER 7 YEARS. XXXX WAS ARRESTED FOR THIS CRIME BACK IN XX/XX/XXXX FOR A FRAUD LOAN WITH XXXX. I CONTACTED XXXX XXXX WHEN I HAD A INQUIRY THAT WAS ALERTED TO ME ON XX/XX/XXXX FROM XXXX AND I CONTACTED XXXX XXXX AND TOLD THEM I DIDNT APPLY FOR NO LOANS AND THE GENTLEMAN IN THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT SAID HE WOULD HAVE THE INQUIRE COME OFF AND HE'LL STOP THIS ACCOUNT THAT WAS OPENED IN MY NAME, WELL I GUESS THEY FORGOT. I A RETIRED FEDERAL JUDGE AND IVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING ON MY CREDIT THAT WAS BAD AND FOR THIS BANK TO GET POLICE REPORTS AND FTC REPORTS AND COURT DOCUMENTS SHOWING I DIDNT GET THIS LOAN AND THEY STILL WANT REMOVE THIS ACCOUNT IS CRAZY, NEXT STEP IS TO FILE A FEDERAL LAWSUIT AGAINST XXXX XXXX AND ASK FOR SHOW CAUSE BECAUSE EVEN THE DEALERSHIP STATED THEY DIDNT EBEN HAVE A DRIVER LICENSE ON FILE AND THE LADY HAD BLONDE HAIR AND WAS PRETTY YOUNG WHO BOUGHT THIS TRUCK. THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME TO ORDER THEM TO COME TO COURT AND THEY WILL BE GLAD TO SHOW THE VIDEO OF XXXX SAYING MY NAME AND THEY THE ACT OF FRAUD WILL BEGIN ON THE BANKS SIDE FOR KNOWING THIS AND NOT DOING WHAT THE FAIR CREDIT ACT STATES! Consumer Complaint: Hi! My name XXXX XXXX. Please take a look. I have a Discover credit card that I used to purchase items at XXXX XXXX. There were charges and returns and my balance should have been XXXX. However, Discover claimed that I owed over {$500.00}, which I didnt, and used a cashback bonus that I had in the amount of {$540.00} to cover that balance that I did not owe. In addition, I also had a credit from XXXX XXXX - a security dispute adjustment in the amount of {$910.00}, which Discover also took. I have tried to resolve the dispute with Discover but was unsuccessful. In XX/XX/XXXX, I used my Discover credit card to pay for my orders at the XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I returned many of my orders. They didn't suit me. Refunds for purchases at XXXX XXXX ' store were made late. I spent a lot of my time and energy trying to get the store to fix this. It was eventually done. However, the Discover Fraud department created, for me, a report with a new balance of {$400.00}. Also, {$900.00} disappeared from my credit account. This amount, by the XXXX XXXX store, was credited to my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I had two payments of XXXX each. The things with this value were returned by me. In the report, credits are made on XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Then in the report for XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX - XXXX XXXX, XXXX there was a security dispute adjustment {$910.00} dated XX/XX/XXXX. In the report for XX/XX/XXXX - XXXX, the amount of {$910.00} again appeared in my statement as a charge. It was dated with XX/XX/XXXX. In the same statement on XX/XX/XXXX it was credited back as a security dispute adjustment. In my next statement, like a my credit, this amount does not appear. It was stolen from me. i also have a cashback bonus {$530.00}. This money Discover Credit department took from me as well. Many times they asked me to cover the balance, that was created by them, with my cashback bonus. After that I received a new statement with a new balance. I really need your help. Consumer Complaint: I am a XXXX and made a purchase with my discover card on XX/XX/2020 for a spring vacation for my mom and me for XX/XX/XXXX. I made the purchase with XXXX and charged in on my Discover card for the amount of {$3400.00}. The Corona virus hit NJ and schools were closed and my Mom lost her job as well. We were house bound and worried due to the danger of this virus and the fact that we live with elderly grandparents. The flights were cancelled and I was shocked to learn that XXXX would not refund the money. I contacted them numerous times but no one would answer. I called Discover card and they agreed to help me. This has been ongoing since the XXXX statement and they have issued temporary credits 3 times and revoked them. The final case XXXX concluded that they did not find it in my favor and included the transaction receipt from the XXXX booking. My dispute is not about whether I purchased the ticket but the dispute is that the trip never happened and was cancelled due to the pandemic. The service was not provided and I should not be held accountable as this is a violation of my consumer rights. I am looking to finally get this refund back on my card for good.
