Consumer Complaint: Charge for {$29.00} on XX/XX/XXXX appeared on my Discover Card statement for Payment Protection, a service I never signed up for. I contacted Discover who agreed to credit this amount and the past 6 months of charges for this which amount to {$20.00}. I was then informed that I have been a member of this program since XX/XX/XXXX. When asked why i haven't seen any large charges I was informed it is because I keep a lower balance on my card. I feel I should be reimbursed for all charges related to this since I was signed up, without my knowledge, for 17 years. I also see Discover card settles a class action suit on this back in XXXX for which I was not a part of as I was unaware of the suit. I also have never used the " benefits '' of the plan as I was unaware I had it. I also would never have used the plan as I never had need to.

Consumer Complaint: This past week, I received a new card from Discover, giving me until XX/XX/XXXX to activate. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email stating that my account was closed. I called Discover. They told me that I had requested the new card last month ( which is not true ) and that on XX/XX/XXXX, they did a review on my account, and decided to close the account due to inactivity. My history shows that I made a payment on XXXX of this year. It was not inactive. It is unfair that Discover shut down a credit card as this will adversely impact my credit, which is something that is not helpful during a pandemic.

Consumer Complaint: I am an elderly and XXXX citizen. I inquired about a medical bed on XX/XX/2019 with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX Ohio XXXX a order was taken and placed on the Discover card the agreement was to deliver the bed within 10days. Due to medical conditions, 10 days passed and I inquired about the purchase on XXXX XXXX. The bed was not shipped and I canceled the order started another search for a bed. As of XXXX XXXX the bed " NEVER '' arrived and my Discover card was charged. I submitted several disputes and Discover refuses to reverse the charge. I pulled the tracking of the bed and it showed the bed was never delivered to my home just a in route status as of XXXX XXXX. The courier listed on the tracking number said the bed was delivered to another location not my home address. I am now being charged for an item that I didn't receive and I canceled the order on XX/XX/XXXX. Discover has turned me in to collections.

Consumer Complaint: Application was approved for {$2500.00} XXXX XXXX via internet application then application approval stated, call in for final approval, I received final approval and I was congratulated. Representative stated that I could activate card online ... .then I received card in mail ... .I was unable to activate and I called in only to transfered to department specialist. Then I was told ... .. I was requires to send in Tax form XXXX. I submitted all required documentation that was orginally required to get approved. I believe that I was unfairly profiled due to personal reasons of represenative after hearing my voice. If this wasn't the case I don't think I would have been originally approved and sent a physical card. Their was no request for Tax information or any documentation to verify who I was if that was a issue. I feel unfairly targeted and would like this issue reviewed.

Consumer Complaint: On 2020 around XXXX, I find out that I had a big problem about my credit score ( delinquency ), Then I found out that my discover credit card company file a debt collect on me. I never used this card, and also I never received any new Credit Card from the company. After this case happened I try to reach out with debt Collector and the discover bank, try to solve the problem. but both company make me calling around and not even try to solve my problem. that makes my credit score drop everyday. The amount that i find out around {$8000.00}.

I asked this agent several times for my discover it credit card that used to have XXXX cash advance. Since i XXXX it out I been told I cant ever get it back by a agent on XX/XX/XXXX. I want my cash option back since I was mislead to believe I can get it back with a soft pull. No agents can give it back to me. Please review phone call and notes from the date it was XXXX out. Also I am unable to make any changes online because a authorized user has a credit freeze. I wish yo be able to manage online if possible too

Consumer Complaint: This is not a duplicate complaint! This is a request of documents and information. This is a complaint because Discover is not sending documentation and information on the account. I request method of payments on the account. Specifically, the methods of payments used that bounced. The bounced payments then afforded this person to continue using the card and allowed the credit limit to be exceeded. Please, I need method of payments, accounts used, name of these accounts, IP Address, etc. Please call if you do not understand. I have already sent sheriffs report, FTC identity theft reports etc., and your denial of fraud continues. The documents and information I am requesting will reflect a pattern, the identity of a person, and allow me to update the sheriffs report, and allow me to pursue. I have repeatedly requested this information and you are hurting and preventing me to establish the fraud. Again I ask, please call if you do not understand my request.
