Consumer Complaint: The wrongful and deceptive act was when they reported lates to the credit reporting agencies while I was under a repayment plan which protected from that very act, along with canceling my card after you claim I requested it, but DID NOT, further creating more derogatory information to be reported and further damaging my credit rating and trust with other lenders as a result of your Unfair and Deceptive acts and practices. Furthermore, they then called in an effort to collect the debt, but failed to state the reason for their call, nor state that it was an effort to collect a debt. This act alone is deemed an Unfair Deceptive act or practices, and prohibited by credit collection acts and laws. It is presumed that this is their standard practice and if so, other parties are likely similarly injured by their deceptive practices.
