Consumer Complaint: Purchased windows and installation agreement with XXXX XXXX on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX for 5 windows. Received call on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX that grid pattern could not be made ; would call me back in XX/XX/XXXX to provide update, but never called me back. Installers came to house on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX with 5 windows. Grid pattern did not match 3 windows. I did not accept windows. Installers did not install these windows. Installers took these windows with them. Installers only installed 2 sidelights. I called XXXX XXXX while installers were at my house and they told me they would write a note on my account that I did not accept windows due to wrong grid pattern. I sent an email to XXXX XXXX as well. I contacted XXXX XXXX several times between XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, nobody called me back. I disputed charge. I have tried to followup with this case multiple times with XXXX XXXX customer care, but I have not been successful. Sales manager, XXXX XXXX told me that he was going to refund me, but then stopped the process and stopped communication when I wouldn't drop the dispute. The installation manager named XXXX called me at some point and mentioned he had to talk with another manager, but never called me back. Please be aware, this was a second order of windows of XXXX XXXX I purchased with a problem. It is unclear why this can not be resolved.

Consumer Complaint: 15 U.S. Code 1666b - A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose The creditor has reported that from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX, my account payments were late or not made, which is false. The payments were all made and were on time each month. I have tried contacting the creditor and all three credit bureaus about the issue. Each time, they just report back that they can not change what my credit report says because the original report was accurate when in fact, it was inaccurate and is causing me not to be able to build my credit as quickly and efficiently now and is also causing me not to be able to get new credit with other companies.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I saw a charge come through on my Discover card for something I never purchased from a vendor I have never done business with. It was a charge for {$1800.00} from " XXXX XXXX XXXX ''. I called Discover, reported that my card had been used fraudulently and that this charge was part of the fraud. They put it under investigation, never communicated with me again, and I just saw that they have resolved in favor of the vendor and are forcing me to pay. I have not seen any evidence that was produced to rule against me, and I am extremely unhappy that I am being required to cover FRAUDULENT charges.

Consumer Complaint: Discover credit card. I asked for confirmation of debt and wanted all of the wet signatures. They sent me a statement. A statement is not a confirmation of debt. Then they said it was verified. So I asked it was verified by who, what name address phone number and title like a lawyer etc. They just told me it was verified. So I verified you as a incompetent XXXX. So I am going to send this case to arbitration and place a lien on ceo surety bond. They refused to accept my coupon for payment which is legal tender. The bill came saying XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) not me XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Pay to order of : Discover credit card {$6000.00} and XX/XX/00 By : accommendation XXXX Irs : XXXX, Without recourse

Subissue: Company closed your account
Consumer Complaint: Although the balance on my credit card was paid down to XXXX. Discover closed my credit account without notification. I was informed, by an Account Review Supervisor ( XXXX ) that an IRS verification was emailed out and identity verification would take two full weeks. Also was informed during the time of the verification my account would be inactive, for two weeks, but following the two week verification I would be notified of my credit card 's availability. Calls are recorded. However, in spite of my cooperation, my credit account was closed, by Grantor, from the date I called, within 72 hours, without any notification. For the record, I had discovered, there was a problem, when I logged in to view the card 's available credit ( XXXX ). In lieu of this, I then reached out to Discover, same day ( XXXX ) for answers and was connected, after a couple of attempts to the Verification Dept , where it was confirmed that my account was closed. Unfortunately, in spite of Discover 's deceptive ways, I was informed my only solution was to reapply, for a new account. The companies actions appears to be an illegal move, to close my account, inconvenience me as a paying consumer and later maybe place an adverse statement, on me, in the credit bureau.

Consumer Complaint: Today is XX/XX/. I opened an account with Discovercard XXXX They required a deposit of {$200.00} or {$500.00}. I deposited {$500.00}. Today, when I told them I was going to deposit {$5000.00} as soon as the card was activated, they told me that is impossible with them. They said I could only ad {$50.00} at a time up to a maximum of {$2500.00}. That is useless to me. I had already found a card that uses a savings account to back the card and I can deposit any amount and then use the card for purchases, which is what I need. I called Discovercard and told them I want my {$500.00} back now so I can make a purchase of medical equipment. They said they " can't '' - translated " won't '' do that. They said the account needed to be fully set up and activated before I could get my money back and that it takes about 10 days for that. I told the rep to connect me with a supervisor or XXXX ( XXXX ) who said the same thing. I NEED MY MONEY BACK AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.

Consumer Complaint: I have been having trouble logging in to my Discover bank account and Discover credit card account for several months. They are separate accounts, not merged. I made sure to use the corresponding login website for the banking account versus the credit card account/mobile app. Every time I try to log in to either account I get the following message : 'The information you provided does not match our records. Please try again or select " Forgot User ID/Password '' below to reset your log in credentials. ' Then I have to click " Forgot User Password '' and reset my password in order to access my accounts. However, the new password is still a one-time thing. Even with back-to-back login and logout, the password is only effective for a single time. I document every password I create so I am 100 % sure that it is not human error. I made numerous calls to discover and the only resolution I ever got is to reset my password and check if I'm using the correct portal.
