Issue: Managing the loan or lease
Subissue: Billing problem
Consumer Complaint: My complaint is with Credit Acceptance. First the have they are claiming I owe {$100.00} dollars which is incorrect. If my payments are XXXX a month and Credit Acceptance acknowledged theey received my hardship payment arrangement letter and agreed to give me 4 monthly payments of {$200.00} on a recorded line, why are they acting as if this is just a payment I 'm making on my own. And with the agreed upon arrangement the past due balance remaining balance for 4mths would be XXXX and the representative on the phone advance the balance go on the back of the loan. So the are adding illegal collection tactics and also have been calling harassing me everyday twice or more a day after they know my account is auto draft. I have spoken to a representative every time they call to advice in on auto draft and they still try to collect a payment and continue to call when I already spoke to someone which is illegal. Their phone records like my phone records will support this. Last all XXXX of my credit reports are showing different past due dates, when the account is not past due, I 'm on auto draft and Credit Acceptance agreed to the hardship arrangement and said the remainder will go on back of loan. I

Subissue: Problem with the interest rate
Consumer Complaint: I purchased this car from a dealership and was basically haggled into getting a car for more than what it was originally worth. I was given a ridiculous interest rate and then I found out that the interest is compounded. So for a car that is actually only worth XXXX I am going to end up paying 25,000 give or take. The original car loan was for around 11,000 plus the warranty. The dealership and the place that approved my loan some how came up with to horrific numbers that are now haunting me every two weeks just so that I can get caught up from being out of work and missing One and a half payments when I XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX I have been paying multi-payments per month for over a year and for some reason my balance never goes away. I am struggling to make ends meet because of this car that I was suckered into buying at a price that is not what I deserve to be paying. the early buy out is still at XXXX, which is more than what the car is worth and no one will refinance or trade in. I have already spend over that much since purchasing the vehicle in XX/XX/XXXX. My original payments were set to be XXXX per month and I am now paying XXXX every two weeks and the balance is not going away like I feel that it should. They are basically saying that I am still two months behind when I only missed one full payment over a year ago. I really need help with getting this taken care of and hopefully lowering my payments. Please help me as well as you possibly can.
