Around XX/XX/XXXX I couldn't access to my account at all I did everything to contact coinbase customer service and fellow all instructions on their website like help! But with no results or help. I have no choice but make complaint with cfpb and other agency include SEC or probably get my own lawyer. Consumer Complaint: Coinbase has put my account under review for no apparent reason, it has been over a month since the account has been under review, I have sent them numerous number of emails and the Coinbase company is not responding to my emails with the solution. I am already level 2 verified customer with them for many years, i can not buy or sell any digital currency on the coinbase platform which has resulted in a financial loss for me. I also tried contacting them on XXXX, Coinbase website, Coinbase complaints and getting no responce at all. There is no telephone numbers for them. Consumer Complaint: Coinbase took {$50.00} from my bank and i bought {$50.00} in crypto. Coinbase had issues receiving the money from my bank, but ultimately ended receiving payment. Coinbase took my {$50.00} from my bank, and Coinbase took my {$50.00} in crypto, leaving me without either one after i paid for it. There is no Customer service agent for me to talk to on the phone or through live chat. They do not respond to emails, and there is nothing i can do, Coinbase stole my money and my crypto, and there is no customer service department to report it to.

Consumer Complaint: I've been investing in XXXX since 2016 through Coinbase. As of XX/XX/XXXX I was unable to get into my account or even use the app at all. They have a message that says they closed my account but gave me zero warning. After submitting complaints they send me a automated mess that says in can withdraw my money, $ XXXX, but the app doesn't work and the website only gives me the option to close account. I want my hard earned money and their business practices are obviously legal. I've tried to be civil about this. All I want is my money. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I have been using the app Coinbase since XXXX last year. I have attempted to fix an issue they have caused for over a month now, and I need a resolution to this problem promptly. I have attempted to solve the issue multiple ways, including on their website and via e-mail. I will be including all pertinent documentation, including photos of my bank account, the in-app purchase I was forced to make wrongfully, e-mails, and proof of the existence of my Limited Liability Company, which has suffered from not being able to be funded for the period of time this incident has been ongoing. I have recently been incorrectly charged twice by Coinbase. I had paid them XXXX dollars and XXXX dollars on XX/XX/XXXX, but on XX/XX/XXXX the charge from the day before had appeared again ( the charges had the same ID number, i.e. they were the same exact transaction, duplicated. ) There was also a XXXX fee on XX/XX/XXXX that was corrected XX/XX/XXXX, that doesn't need to be addressed here. Nevertheless it is connected to the events described in this message. Later, Coinbase had refunded me the amount of XXXX and XXXX dollars to my bank account. Everything seemed right until I realized the app required me to pay that exact charge, again, in order to access the rest of the money- nullifying the money I was just refunded. What an absolute headache. I have attempted reconciliation of this problem with Coinbase for weeks now, but I am only getting automated messages that are incapable of addressing what has happened. In response to this mistake I had put a stop payment order on my bank account as a result of this, totalling XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I have missed out on many opportunities to day-trade my XXXX ( day-trading is the process of selling frequently at peaks and buying back in when lower ) during this 31 day period that Coinbase has held my money. XXXX went up from XXXX dollars to XXXX that same day I was forced to sell my assets. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sold XXXX of my assets in response to the app requiring me to pay XXXX again. If I didn't do this, the XXXX dollars would have become XXXX at XXXX XXXX peak that day. ( XXXX x XXXX divided by XXXX = XXXX ) If I would have gotten scared and sold at around the peak I would have hundreds of dollars more if the Coinbase error hadn't occured. To assume I would sold exactly at the peak is unlikely, but even if I got scared and sold when it started to dip to XXXX or XXXX I would still have hundreds of dollars more based off of just that one oppurtunity to day-trade, let alone the subsequent day-trading for all of XXXX. It's been held for 31 days at this point. I would easily have made another XXXX XXXX dollars in that time period. Additionally, I have been forced to delay the unveiling of the first product of my Limited Liability Company due to this error, which is specifically delayed more and more days the longer this is not resolved. I'm including a certificate from New York XXXX government as proof that my LLC does exist. I've also damaged my XXXX significantly, throwing it out of frustration. As you may be able to surmise, this one incident has seriously wreaked havoc on my personal life. I require my XXXX dollars and the XXXX dollars I wasted for the stop payment. I would additionally like compensation for the inconvenience of not having XXXX dollars that is mine to begin with, the lost opportunities of day trading, the unneccessary delaying of my LLC 's first product going public and the damage I did to my phone due to this issue. Consumer Complaint: Coinbase rep moved {$19000.00} worth of XXXX out of my coinbase account and never got them back to my coinbase account. I called Coinbase 's customer service line, someone answered from company. I needed to update bank info on coinbase trying to buy more XXXX XXXX on coinbase ( I was not getting the micro deposits into new bank account ) the coinbase person who answered the phone ( I have proof I was on phone with coinbase for 37 minuets and I received a call back ) stated that my coinbase wallets and account was frozen and they Coinbase had to create new wallets and move XXXX coins ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX various coin amounts in each coinbase wallet ) into said new coin wallets. I wrote down new wallet addresses and the coinbase rep then created new coinbase wallets and moved the holdings out of old coinbase wallet and created new coinbase wallets and transferred them. I was under the impression that my coins would stay in coinbase and when I looked at my balances all XXXX coins from said holdings have disappeared in the amount of {$19000.00}. As a 100 % XXXX XXXX XXXX and new to coinbase I followed Coinbase 's lead on a problem with my account only to have them lose or steal them from me.. Coinbase mission statement, if you will, states they created this company for the new and un educated new investor who can be looked out for by coinbase so as of now they have no customer service or educational services. They set you up with this false narrative and then take your money and coins away from you.. .. So much for GOOD Faith financial business. This company is stealing money from LOTS of customers.. over 1400 complaints on missing money is what I've found so far

Consumer Complaint: On Friday XX/XX/XXXX I originally made two successful transactions on coin base. First for {$250.00} of XXXX and then an additional {$500.00} XXXX. Later, I attempted to purchase another {$500.00} but the transaction was denied and an error message appeared something went wrong. I kept retrying the transaction and kept getting the same error message. After 7 attempts I gave up. The next day on Saturday XX/XX/XXXX I checked my account and saw that the 7 failed transactions actually went through. I would have never attempted so many transactions if I knew it was actually going through and the error message was false. Then after looking further, I noticed one of the {$500.00} transactions was taken out of my bank but not deposited into my account with coinbase.
